Description
更に、二つ以上の触媒室を互いに並べて平行に配置することも考えられる。
本発明に従う内燃機関用排気ガス装置100の第一実施例を図1に示す。本発明の排気ガス装置100の外部ハウジング10は、本質的には正平行六面体形状である。本実施例の場合、前記外部ハウジング10は前部殻11と後部殻12から成っているが、本発明の外部ハウジング10は二つの部品だけから成る外部ハウジングに制限されるものではない。

Claims (12)
- 後部殻(12)及び前部殻(11)を有する外部ハウジング(10)と、
その中に触媒要素(33,34)が設けられている触媒室(20)と、
前記触媒室(20)から排気ガスを運ぶ排気ガスダクト(23)と、
を有する内燃機関用排気ガス装置(100)において、
前記外部ハウジング(10)の内部の空間が、前記触媒室(20)により、ガス漏れが生じない、互いに隔離された二つの領域(18、19)に分けられており、且つ、一方の領域と他の一方の領域とは, 互いに流体の流通がないように構成され;
前記触媒室(20)は前記排気ガスダクト(23)を形成しており、二つの室半部分(21、22)を含み;
前記排気ガスダクト(23)は、前記室半部分(21,22)の一方に、材質的に均一で且つ一体に設けられており;
前記触媒要素(33、34)を設けた触媒室(20)の前記室半部分(21、22)は、前記触媒室(20)の中心部分において一つの接合要素(32)によって前記触媒要素と共に固定、保持される;
ことを特徴とする内燃機関用排気ガス装置。 - 前記排気ガスダクト(23)の排気ガス排出穴(25)は、前記触媒要素(33,34)から離れた前記排気ガスダクト(23)の端部に配置され、前記外部ハウジング(10)の前記排気ガス排出口(13)に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気ガス装置。
- 前記前部殻(11)には通風孔(14)が設けられ、前記通風孔(14)を通じて、新鮮な空気が前記排気ガス装置(100)に流入するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気ガス装置。
- 前記排気ガスダクト(23)の前記排気ガス排出穴(25)は、ベンチュリノズル(26)又は噴射ノズルを有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 前記排気ガスダクト(23)は湾曲に設計されるか、曲げを付けて設計されるか、又はその両方を含んで設計されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 少なくとも二つの前記触媒要素(33,34)は、排気ガスの流れ方向に一方が他方の後ろに、配置されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 前記室半部分(21、22)のうち少なくとも一つに形成される隔離片(31)により、前記触媒要素(33、34)のうち少なくとも一つは、前記触媒室(20)に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 前記二つの触媒要素(33,34)の間に間隔を設けるために、前記二つの触媒要素(33,34)の間に隔離フレーム(35)を配置することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れかに記載の何れかの排気ガス装置。
- 前記触媒室(20)は、前記室半部分(21,22)の縁部分(29,30)にフランジをつけることにより、前記室半部分(21,22)と共に保持されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 前記触媒室(20)には冷却面(28)が付加されており、従って該触媒室(20)は、前記外部ハウジング(10)から全周にわたって離れていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 流れが、前記排気ガスダクト(23)の流れ方向と直角に、前記触媒要素(33,34)を通ることを特徴とする請求項1乃至10の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
- 排気ガス引き入れ口(16)を有する前記後部殻(12)に隣接して配置される前記室半部分(21、22)の一つに、排気ガス取込穴(24)が設けられ、前記取込穴(24)を通じて排気ガスが前記触媒室(20)の中へ流入し、そして、前記前部殻(11)に隣接して配置されるもう一方の室半部分(21,22)には、排気ガス排出穴(25)が設けられ、前記排出穴(25)は前記前部殻(11)の排気ガス排出口(13)の付近に位置し、前記排出穴(25)を通じて、排気ガスは触媒室(20)から外部へ排出されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至11の何れかに記載の排気ガス装置。
