Description
Claims (5)
- 挿通端及び溶融端を有する送給路と、
少なくとも1つのインクスティックを前記送給路の前記挿通端と前記溶融端との間で移送するインクスティック移送手段と、
前記送給路に沿って配置された少なくとも1つのセンサと、
少なくとも1つの前記センサと前記移送手段とに接続されたコントローラと、
被検知符号化部を有するインクスティックであって、少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックの前記被検知符号化部が少なくとも1つの前記センサを作動させて信号を発生させるインクスティックと、
を備え、
前記コントローラは、前記信号に応じ、前記インクスティック移送手段を制御して、少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックを前記送給路の前記溶融端に近づく第1の方向と当該溶融端から離れる第2の方向のうち何れかに移送させ、相変化インクイメージング装置に適さない前記インクスティックであることが前記信号によって判明した場合に、少なくとも1つの当該インクスティックを前記第2の方向に移送させる、相変化インクイメージング装置のインク送給系用システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックが前記第2の方向に移送された場合に、警告信号を発生する警告信号発生器をさらに備える、相変化インクイメージング装置のインク送給系用システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムであって、
前記コントローラは、前記送給路の前記挿通端における挿通口を通過して挿通ポイントを超えて少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックを移送させるよう構成されている、相変化インクイメージング装置のインク送給系用システム。 - インク装填装置の送給チャネルに沿って配置された少なくとも1つのセンサと、
被検知符号化部を有するインクスティックを、前記送給チャネルの溶融端に到達する前に、前記センサの位置を超えて移送するインクスティック移送手段と、
前記インクスティックに関連する可変の制御/属性情報をイメージング装置の制御系に伝えるために、前記インクスティックの外面上に形成された前記被検知符号部であって、少なくとも1つの前記センサを作動させて、前記制御系に伝えられる前記可変の制御/属性情報に対応する符号化パターン信号を発生させる複数の符号要素を含む、前記被検知符号部と、
前記符号化パターン信号を受信して復号化することにより前記インクスティックに関連づけられる前記可変の制御/属性情報を決定し、かつ前記インクスティックの前記復号化された制御情報に基づき、前記インクスティック移送手段の動きを制御する、コントローラと、
を備え、
前記コントローラは、相変化インクイメージング装置に適さない前記インクスティックであることを前記符号化パターン信号が示した場合に、少なくとも1つの当該インクスティックを前記溶融端と反対の第2の方向に移送させる、相変化インクイメージング装置用システム。 - 相変化インクイメージング装置のインク送給系におけるインクスティック送給方法であって、
相変化インクイメージング装置のインク送給系の挿通端にて送給路上に少なくとも1つのインクスティックを受け入れるステップと、
前記送給路の溶融端に近づく第1の方向に少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックを動かすテップと、
前記送給路に沿って配置された少なくとも1つのセンサを、少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックの被符号化部によって作動させて符号化パターン信号を発生させるステップと、
前記符号化パターン信号を復号化することにより少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックに関連づけられる可変の制御情報を決定するステップと、
前記符号化パターン信号に基づき、前記溶融端に近づく第1の方向と該溶融端から遠ざかる第2の方向のうち何れかの方向に少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックを動かすステップと、
を含み、
少なくとも1つの前記インクスティックを前記第1の方向と前記第2の方向のいずれかに動かす前記ステップは、さらに、前記相変化インクイメージング装置に適さない前記インクスティックであることを前記符号化パターン信号が示した場合に、少なくとも1つの当該インクスティックを前記第2の方向に動かす、インクスティック送給方法。
