Description

The present invention relates to a gel-like molded body assembly that contains a plurality of gel-like molded bodies and that prevents leakage of liquid from the gel-like molded bodies.

Gels are useful as a base for volatilizing fragrance components and deodorant components, and conventionally, gel-like fragrance / deodorants have been widely used. Conventionally, a gel-like fragrance / deodorant is mainly composed of one block-like gel. On the other hand, the aggregate obtained by mixing a plurality of gel-shaped bodies of a predetermined shape has the advantage that the appearance is good and the design effect is excellent, and the gel surface area exposed to the space is increased. The advantageous effect that volatilization of the component can be promoted is expected. Therefore, in recent years, attention has been paid to aroma / deodorant which is a form of an aggregate of gel-like molded bodies.

Conventionally, absorbent resins such as nonionic polyalkylene oxide water-absorbing resins, alkene-maleic anhydride copolymers, and cross-linked polyacrylates are generally used for the production of gel-like molded articles. However, when an aggregate of gel-like molded bodies prepared using these absorbent resins is used as a deodorant or fragrance, the following problems arise:
(1) When a gel-like molded body is formed into an aggregate, the gel-shaped molded body present in the lower layer portion may be significantly deformed or damaged due to the weight of the gel-shaped molded body present in the upper layer portion of the aggregate. Therefore, the gel-like molded body used as an aggregate is required to have a high gel strength and excellent shape stability. However, the above water-absorbent resin is not always satisfactory in terms of shape stability.
(2) The above-described absorbent resin has a drawback that its water absorption capacity (capability to absorb water) or water retention capacity (capability to retain absorbed water) is insufficient. Therefore, when the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies is accommodated in the container, liquid may leak from the inside of the gel-like molded body existing in the lower layer part due to the weight of the gel-like molded body present in the upper layer part of the aggregate. is there. As a result, in the lower layer portion of the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies, liquid and gel-like molded bodies are mixed, and the shape of each gel-like molded body cannot be visually recognized, and the design based on the shape of each gel-like molded body The effect is impaired. In addition, if the liquid is not sufficiently retained in the gel-like molded product, the liquid leaked from the gel molded product may overflow outside the container, so it can be accommodated only in a container with a volatilization opening only at the top. In addition, the shape of the container is also limited.

Against the background of such prior art, even if a collection of gel-like compacts is stacked and accommodated in a container, the deformation of the gel-like compact or gel-like in the lower layer portion of the aggregate of gel-like compacts in the container It has been desired to develop a technique that can suppress leakage of the liquid contained in the molded body and maintain a stable state of the aggregate of gel-shaped molded bodies in the container for a long period of time.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to solve the problems of the prior art. Specifically, an object of the present invention is an aggregate of gel-like molded articles containing a functional component, and the gel-shaped molded article prepared using an acrylamide-acrylate copolymer is contained in a container. An object of the present invention is to provide a gel-like molded product assembly that is stable without leaking liquid.

The present inventor has intensively studied to solve the above-mentioned problems. As a result, the deformation and breakage of individual gel-like molded bodies existing in the lower layer portion of the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies is suppressed, and the shape is stably maintained. It has been found that an acrylamide-acrylate copolymer is useful as a water-absorbing resin that makes it possible. Furthermore, although (i) a gel-like molded body prepared using an acrylamide-acrylate copolymer (hereinafter referred to as “(i) gel-like molded body”) exhibits excellent water retention, it is in use. It was confirmed that there was a tendency to leak the liquid contained in the gel-like molded product. Therefore, it is further selected from the group consisting of (i) a gel-like molded article and (ii) a nonionic polyalkylene oxide water-absorbing resin, an alkene-maleic anhydride copolymer, and a polyacrylate cross-linked product. Combined with a gel-like molded body prepared by using at least one kind (hereinafter referred to as “(ii) gel-shaped molded body”) to form an aggregate of gel-like molded bodies, and accommodated in a container Even in this case, there is no deformation of the individual gel-like compacts or leakage of the liquid contained in the gel-like compacts from the upper part to the lower part of the aggregate of the gel-like compacts. Found that it will be possible. The present invention has been completed by further studies based on these findings.

These functional components may be contained in one or both of the gel-like molded products of (i) and (ii), but both of the gel-shaped molded products of (i) and (ii) or ( It is desirable to be included in the gel-like molded product of i). In addition, in this invention, although the functional component may be contained in the state which osmose | permeated the inside of a gel-like molded object, you may be contained in the state adhering to the surface of the gel-like molded object.

The blending ratio of the functional component in the gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention is the kind of the functional component, the use of the aggregate, and the water-absorbent resin used in the gel-like molded product of (i) and (ii). Although depending on the type, for example, the functional component is 0.1 to 50% by weight, preferably 0.2 to 39% by weight, more preferably 0.4 to 18.9% by weight based on the total amount of the aggregate. %. In addition, the ratio shown here is a ratio which the total amount of the functional component contained in the gel-like molded object of (i) and (ii) occupies with respect to the whole gel-like molded object assembly of this invention.

In the gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention, when an oily functional component is blended, a surfactant, particularly a nonionic surfactant, is used to absorb the functional component in the gel-like molded product in a transparent state. It is desirable to add an agent (for example, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ether, etc.).

When the surfactant is blended, the blending ratio is not particularly limited, but is, for example, 0.1 to 15% by weight, preferably 0.2 to the total amount of the gel-like molded body aggregate. The ratio which becomes 10 to 10 weight%, More preferably, it becomes 0.5 to 5 weight% is illustrated. The ratio shown here is the ratio of the total amount of the surfactant contained in the gel-shaped molded body of (i) and (ii) to the entire gel-shaped molded body aggregate of the present invention, (i The content ratio of the surfactant in the gel-shaped molded product () and the content ratio of the surfactant in the gel-shaped molded product (ii) are not necessarily the same.

In addition, when an oily functional component is blended into the gel-like molded product assembly of the invention, a solubilizer such as ethanol, propylene glycol monomethyl ether, propylene glycol propyl ether, propylene glycol, dipropylene glycol or the like is blended. Also good.

When the above-mentioned solubilizer is blended, the blending ratio is appropriately set according to the type of the solubilizer, but as an example, 0.1 to 15% by weight with respect to the total amount of the gel-like molded body aggregate, The proportion is preferably 0.2 to 10% by weight, more preferably 0.5 to 5% by weight. The ratio shown here is the ratio of the total amount of the solubilizer contained in the gel-shaped molded product of (i) and (ii) to the entire gel-shaped molded product aggregate of the present invention, (i) The content ratio of the solubilizing agent in the gel-shaped molded product and the content ratio of the solubilizing agent in the gel-shaped molded product (ii) are not necessarily the same.

Furthermore, the gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention may contain an appropriate amount of components such as preservatives; antioxidants; ultraviolet absorbers; pigments, dyes and the like, if necessary. These components may be contained in one or both of the gel-like molded products (i) and (ii).

The gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention is obtained by separately preparing the gel-like molded product of (i) containing a predetermined component and the gel-like molded product of (ii) containing a predetermined component, respectively. Although the gel-like molded bodies (i) and (ii) obtained may be mixed at a predetermined ratio, the production methods exemplified below are simple and suitable. That is, (i) the water-absorbent resin of the gel-like molded body, (ii) the water-absorbent resin of the gel-like molded body, water, functional components, and if necessary, predetermined amounts of other components are put in a container. Mix, seal the container, and let stand at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours to allow the water-absorbent resin to absorb the added components. During this time, if necessary, stirring may be performed by means such as vibrating the container.

The gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention is used by being housed in a container provided with a volatilization opening (opening) for volatilizing a functional component and releasing it into the space. Even if the gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention is used for a long period of time, the liquid contained in the gel-like molded product leaks, the gel and the liquid do not separate, and the liquid does not leak out from the container. Therefore, it can be used not only for a container having a volatilization port only at the upper part but also for a container having a volatilization port provided on the side surface (particularly, the lower part of the side surface). Moreover, even if the gel-like molded object assembly of this invention is accommodated in the state in which the gel-like molded object was laminated | stacked within the container, the shape of each gel-like molded object is maintained stably. Therefore, by accommodating the gel-like molded product aggregate of the present invention in a container, the shape of each hydrogel can be visually recognized from the upper layer part to the lower layer part of the gel-like molded product aggregate in the container, and an excellent design An effect can be obtained. In order to make such a design effect stand out further, it is preferable to use a transparent or translucent container as a container for containing the gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention.

EXAMPLES Hereinafter, although a test example and an Example are given and this invention is demonstrated, this invention is not limited to these.
Test example 1
In accordance with the following method, the aggregate of the gel-like molded object of the composition shown in Table 1 was prepared (Example 1-6 and Comparative Example 1-2; 1 container contains 100g of the aggregate of gel-like molded object). First, a predetermined amount of water-absorbing resin was added to a transparent plastic cylindrical container (about 174 ml volume; bottom area of about 40.7 cm 2 ), and a solution obtained by mixing a predetermined amount of other compounding components was added to the container. Next, the container was sealed and allowed to stand at room temperature for about 24 hours to swell the water-absorbent resin to prepare an aggregate of gel-like molded bodies. Immediately after the preparation, in any aggregate of gel-like molded bodies, the water-absorbent resin absorbed all the liquid, and no separation between the liquid and the gel-like molded body was observed. In addition, in any aggregate of gel-like molded bodies, each gel-like molded body is stably held without deformation from the upper layer to the lower layer of the aggregate, and the individual gel-like molded bodies are visible. The appearance was also good.

The aggregate of the gel-like molded body thus obtained was allowed to stand at room temperature for 30 days with the upper part of the container open, and the weight of the aggregate of the gel-like molded body was reduced by about 80 to 90%. . After standing in this manner, the state of the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies in the container was observed, and the degree of liquid leakage was determined according to the following criteria.
(Criteria for the degree of liquid leakage)
○: No leakage of liquid is observed Δ: Slight leakage of liquid is observed, but no liquid overflows outside the container even if the container is tilted sideways ×: Liquid leakage is observed, and the container When it is tilted sideways, liquid overflows from the container.

The obtained results are shown in Table 1. From this result, liquid leakage from the aggregate of gel molded bodies was observed only with the water-absorbing resin of acrylamide-sodium acrylate copolymer. On the other hand, gel molding in which a water-absorbing resin of acrylamide-sodium acrylate copolymer and a cross-linked product of alkylene oxide, sodium isobutylene-maleic anhydride copolymer, or water-absorbing resin of sodium polyacrylate coexist From the body aggregate, no liquid leakage was observed, and the appearance properties were good.

<条件1>
<条件2>
Test example 2
In the same manner as in Test Example 1 above, an aggregate of gel-like molded bodies having the compositions shown in Tables 2 and 3 was prepared (Examples 7-16 and Comparative Examples 3-4; 100 g of aggregate). As for the aggregate of the gel-like molded body immediately after preparation, the water-absorbent resin absorbed all the liquid in any gel-like molded body aggregate, and separation of the liquid and the gel-like molded body was not recognized. . Moreover, in any aggregate of gel-like molded bodies, each gel-like molded body is not deformed or damaged from the upper layer to the lower layer of the aggregate, and the individual gel-like molded bodies are visible and visible. Was also good. The aggregate of gel-like molded bodies thus obtained was allowed to stand under the following two conditions, and the degree of liquid leakage in the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies was evaluated.
<Condition 1>
With the upper part of the container containing the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies opened, the container was allowed to stand at room temperature for 30 days to reduce the weight of the aggregates of gel-like molded bodies by about 80 to 90%. After standing in this manner, the degree of liquid leakage in the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies in the container was evaluated according to the criteria described in Test Example 1 above.
<Condition 2>
A cover with a vent was put on the top of the container containing the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies. In addition, the cover is provided with a plurality of elongated slit-shaped vents that occupy about 1/2 of the surface area uniformly throughout the entire surface. It is a mouth (opening). The container thus covered with the cover with the vent is left to stand at room temperature for 40 days in a state where the volatilization port is disposed sideways (that is, the surface of the cover with the vent is directed to the side). The weight of the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies was reduced by about 80 to 90%. After standing in this manner, the degree of leakage of the liquid in the aggregate of gel-like molded bodies in the container was evaluated according to the following criteria.
(Criteria for the degree of liquid leakage)
○: No liquid leakage was observed, and no liquid overflowed from the container volatilization port. Δ: A slight liquid leakage was observed, but no liquid overflowed from the container volatilization port. ×: Liquid leakage was observed. There is a liquid overflow from the container volatilization container.

The obtained results are shown in Table 2. From this result, it was confirmed that almost no leakage of liquid was observed from the gel-like molded product assembly of the present invention, and that it could be used by being accommodated in a container provided with a volatilization port on the side surface.
