Description
送信コイル(TC1 〜TC15)から発生された磁場は外部に放射され、2次コイル210と磁気的にカップリングされる送信コイル(例えば、TC2 ,TC8 )から発生された磁場によって2次コイル210の出力端に誘起起電力が生成される。このとき、2次側バッテリー装置200が送信コイル(TC1 〜TC15)を互いに区分できるように送信コイル(TC1 〜TC15)から放射される信号は、相違なる周波数を持つか、或いは相違なるコードを持つべきである。
Claims (8)
- 受信コイルを内蔵しているバッテリー装置と磁気的に結合され、無接点でバッテリーを充電する装置であって、該装置は、
上記受信コイルに充電電力を誘起するために多数の送信コイルを配列している送信コイルアレイと;
上記送信コイルから放射される信号が互いに区分できるように相違なる周波数を持つか、あるいは相違なるコードを持つように上記送信コイルを同時に予備駆動し、上記バッテリー装置からフィードバックされるフィードバック応答信号を分析して上記受信コイルに誘導起電力を発生させる送信コイルのみを選別し、該選別された送信コイルのみを選別的に駆動するための駆動手段と
を含むことを特徴とする無接点充電装置。 - 誘導結合のための2次コイル、データを無線送信するための無線送信モジュール、バッテリーの充電状態を調節する充電制御回路及び再充電可能なバッテリーを含むバッテリー装置と磁気的に結合される装置であって、
上記2次コイルに充電電力を誘起するために多数の1次コイルを配列している1次コイルアレイと;
外部の交流電圧を直流電圧に変換する整流回路と;
上記直流電圧に基づいて上記1次コイルを駆動するための駆動電力を生成するコイル駆動回路と;
上記無線送信モジュールからフィードバック信号を受けるための無線受信モジュールと;
上記コイル駆動回路を制御して上記1次コイルから放射される信号が互いに区分できるように相違なる周波数を持つか、あるいは相違なるコードを持つように上記1次コイルを同時に予備駆動し、上記バッテリー装置からフィードバックされるフィードバック応答信号を分析して上記2次コイルに誘導起電力を発生させる1次コイルのみを選別し、該選別された1次コイルのみを選別的に駆動することで上記バッテリーを充電する駆動制御回路と
を含むことを特徴とする充電電力供給装置。 - 上記1次コイルアレイは、多数の1次コイルをマトリックス状に配列したことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の充電電力供給装置。
- 上記1次コイルアレイは、多数の1次コイルが互いにジグザグ(Zig‐Zag)状にずれるように配列されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の充電電力供給装置。
- 多数の1次コイルが配列されている1次コイルアレイ及び無線受信モジュールを含む1次側充電装置と、上記1次コイルと磁気的に結合される2次コイル、無線送信モジュール及びバッテリーを含む2次側バッテリー装置からなる無接点充電システムにおけるバッテリー充電方法であって、
(A)上記1次コイルから、上記1次コイルを互いに区分できるように相違なる周波数を持つか、あるいは相違なるコードを持つ信号を放射するように、上記1次コイルアレイを構成する全ての1次コイルを相対的に短い時間同時に予備駆動する段階と;
(B)上記バッテリー装置において上記2次コイルに誘導起電力を発生させた1次コイルを選別し、該選別された情報を上記1次側充電装置に伝達する上記バッテリー装置からのフィードバック応答信号が、予め定められた時間を超えたか否かを判断する段階と;
(C)上記予め定められた時間内に受信されたフィードバック応答信号を分析して、上記2次コイルと磁気的にカップリングを成す1次コイルのみを少なくとも一つ以上選別する段階と;
(D)上記選別された1次コイルに充電電力を印加することで上記バッテリー装置を充電する段階とを含むことを特徴とする充電方法。 - 上記フィードバック応答は、上記1次コイルと2次コイルの磁気的なカップリングの程度に応じて決められることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の充電方法。
- 上記1次コイルを予備駆動する電力は、少なくともバッテリー装置の内部回路を駆動するのに十分な電力であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の充電方法。
- 多数の1次コイルが配列されている1次コイルアレイ及び無線受信モジュールを含む第1充電ユニットと、上記1次コイルと磁気的に結合される2次コイル、無線送信モジュールを含む第2充電ユニットと、該第2充電ユニットから充電電圧を提供されるバッテリーからなる無接点充電システムにおいて、
上記第1充電ユニットは、
上記2次コイルに充電電力を誘起するために多数の1次コイルを配列している1次コイルアレイと;
上記1次コイルから放射される信号が互いに区分できるように相違なる周波数を持つか、あるいは相違なるコードを持つように上記1次コイルを同時に待機モードで駆動し、上記第2充電ユニットからフィードバックされるフィードバック応答信号を分析して上記2次コイルに誘導起電力を発生させる1次コイルのみを選別し、該選別された1次コイルのみを選別的に充電モードで駆動するための手段
とを含み、
上記第2充電ユニットは、上記2次コイルに内部回路を駆動するのに十分な電圧が誘起されれば、充電開始を知らせるフィードバック信号を生成して上記第1充電ユニットに伝送する手段を含み;
これにより、上記1次コイルアレイを構成する1次コイルの中で上記2次コイルと位置整合を形成する1次コイルのみを選別的に駆動することを特徴とする無接点充電システム。
