Description
Claims (2)
- 光を発する発光素子とその光を平行光にするコリメータレンズとを含む光源装置と、
予め設定されたピッチで所定配置方向に沿って配置される主格子目盛を有する第1スケールと、
副格子目盛を有し、所定配置方向に沿って第1スケールに対し相対変位する第2スケールと、
第1スケールおよび第2スケールを隔てて光源装置の反対側に設置され、光源装置から発せられ第1スケールおよび第2スケールを透過した光を受光して、電気信号に変換する光電変換手段と、
を備えるリニアエンコーダ装置において、
光源装置が発する平行光が第1スケールに入射する入射角度は、第1スケールの平面に垂直である垂直入射方向から所定配置方向に直交する方向へ所定角度傾いた角度であり、前記所定角度は前記コリメータレンズの光軸が前記光変換手段を通過する範囲で、かつ前記第1スケールでの反射光が前記コリメータレンズに入射する範囲で決定されることを特徴とするリニアエンコーダ装置。 - 請求項1に記載のリニアエンコーダ装置において、
無反射加工を行った面が設けられた構造体を備え、
光源装置が発する平行光が第1スケールに入射する入射角度は、
第1スケールの表面で反射する反射光が、構造体の無反射加工を行った面に入射するように設定されていることを特徴とするリニアエンコーダ装置。
