Description
本出願は2007年12月18日付で韓国特許庁へ提出された韓国特許出願第10-2007-0133670号の出願日の利益を主張し、その内容全部は本明細書に含まれる。
RFIDタグやPCB基板、PDP用電極のような伝導性パターンの印刷は、インクジェットプリンティング用伝導性金属インクを基板の上に噴射することで行われる。
ポリオール工程で作製したPVP(polyvinylpyrrolidone)でキャッピングされたAgナノ粒子を有機溶媒に分散させてAgインクを製造した。このとき、PVPの溶解度パラメーター値は11.9(cal/cm3)1/2と知られている。
有機溶媒として1-ブタノールの代わりに溶解度パラメーターが11.97(cal/cm3)1/2である1-プロパノールを単独で用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でインクを製造した。
有機溶媒として1-ブタノールの代わりに、溶解度パラメーターが15.44(cal/cm 3 ) 1/2 あるエタノールアミンと溶解度パラメーターが9.07(cal/cm 3 ) 1/2 であるエチルアセテートとを体積基準でそれぞれ41%と59%で混合し、最終溶解度パラメーターが11.69(cal/cm 3 ) 1/2 である混合有機溶媒を用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でインクを製造した。
有機溶媒として1-ブタノールの代わりに溶解度パラメーターが15.44(cal/cm 3 ) 1/2 であるエタノールアミンを単独で用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でインクを製造した。
有機溶媒として1-ブタノールの代わりに溶解度パラメーターが9.07(cal/cm 3 ) 1/2 であるエチルアセテートを単独で用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でインクを製造した。
有機溶媒として1-ブタノールの代わりに溶解度パラメーターが9.75(cal/cm 3 ) 1/2 であるアセトンを単独で用いたことを除いては、実施例1と同様な方法でインクを製造した。
実施例1〜3および比較例1〜3でそれぞれ製造されたインクに対して沈澱の発生有無を確認し、その結果を図1ないし図5に示す。
Claims (6)
- キャッピング物質でキャッピングされた金属ナノ粒子、及び前記キャッピング物質を膨潤(swelling)させる溶解度パラメーターを有する有機溶媒を含み、
前記キャッピング物質を膨潤させる溶解度パラメーターは、前記キャッピング物質の溶解度パラメーター±1.8(cal/cm3)1/2の範囲内であり、
前記金属ナノ粒子は、Ag、Au、Pd、Pt、Ni、Cu、Cr、Al、W、Zn、Fe及びPbからなる群から選択される単一の金属もしくは2種以上の合金のナノ粒子、または前記単一の金属もしくは2種以上の合金の金属酸化物のナノ粒子であり、
前記有機溶媒は、エタノールアミン(ethanolamine)及びエチルアセテート(ethyl acetate)の混合有機溶媒である、金属インク。 - 前記キャッピング物質を膨潤させる溶解度パラメーターは、前記キャッピング物質の溶解度パラメーター±0.4(cal/cm3)1/2の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属インク。
- 前記キャッピング物質は、ポリビニルピロリドン(PVP), ポリエチレンイミン(PEI)、ポリメチルビニルエーテル(poly methyl vinyl ether, PMVE)、ポリビニルアルコール(polyvinyl alcohol, PVA)、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル(polyoxyethylene alkyl phenyl ether)及びポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノステアレート(polyoxyethylene sorbitan monostearate)からなる群から選択された1種以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属インク。
- 前記キャッピング物質でキャッピングされた金属ナノ粒子はポリオール工程で合成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属インク。
- 前記金属ナノ粒子は前記有機溶媒に分散していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属インク。
- 請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の金属インクをインクジェットノズルから噴射した後、乾燥及び焼成することを含む金属配線の製造方法。
