Description
図2に示すドラム式洗濯機(以下、単に洗濯機と称する)において、外殻をなす外箱11は、その前面部(図2で右側)の略中央部に洗濯物出入口12が形成されると共に、当該出入口12を開閉する扉13を備える。外箱11の前面部の上部には、操作パネル14が設けられており、その裏側(外箱11内)に運転制御用の制御装置15が設けられている。また、外箱11の底板11aには、外箱11内部の温度を検出する温度検出手段(後述する温度検出部67、図4参照)が設けられている。
前記操作入力部65からの入力信号に基づき、洗いや脱水等の運転を開始させると、洗濯物を収容したドラム20の回転駆動に伴い、水槽16が上下方向を主体に振動する。この水槽16の上下振動に応動して、サスペンション17では、水槽16に取付けたシリンダ32が、スプリング62を伸縮させながらシャフト33の周囲を上下方向に振動する。この場合、シリンダ32は、これに配設された各部品(ヨーク42、軸受44、ボビン46、コイル45、保持部材50、ヨーク55、シール部材54、軸受53)を伴って上下方向に振動し、前記充填部Zに充填された磁気粘性流体59は、その粘性による摩擦抵抗でダンパ31に減衰力を与え、水槽16の振幅を減衰させる。
Claims (3)
- 外箱内に配置され、ドラムが収容された水槽の振動を、作動流体を封入したシリンダを用いて減衰させる減衰装置を備えたドラム洗濯機において、
前記作動流体は電気的エネルギーの印加により粘性が変化する磁気粘性流体からなる機能性流体であって、前記洗濯機の脱水行程において前記ドラムの回転に応じて前記機能性流体の粘性を変化させることにより、前記減衰装置の減衰力を可変させる制御を行う制御手段を具備し、
前記制御手段は、前記脱水行程において、前記水槽に共振が発生する速度領域では前記減衰装置の減衰力を相対的に高くし、前記速度領域よりも高い速度領域では前記減衰装置の減衰力を相対的に低くする制御を行うとともに、当該脱水行程で前記ドラムが定常回転速度から停止するまでの間に、前記減衰装置の減衰力を可変させる制御を行うことを特徴とするドラム式洗濯機。 - 前記制御手段は、前記ドラムが定常回転速度から停止するまでの間に、前記減衰装置の減衰力を段階的に可変させるように制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載のドラム式洗濯機。
- 前記外箱の内部あるいは外部の温度を検出する温度検出手段を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記温度検出手段による検出温度が所定の温度よりも低い場合には、前記減衰装置の減衰力を相対的に高くし、前記検出温度が所定の温度よりも高い場合には、前記減衰装置の減衰力を相対的に低くする制御を行うことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載のドラム式洗濯機。
