Description

The present invention changes the electrical output such as a switch on / off state or a resistance value by rotating the rotary knob, and can operate the switch by swinging the rotary knob. The present invention relates to a multi-function electronic component that can operate a switch by pressing a push button knob installed on the device.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a device for operating a vehicle-mounted navigation system, a computer, various portable devices, various OA devices, game machines, and the like, there is a multi-functional electronic component that integrates a plurality of operation switches. And in this kind of multi-functional electronic component, for example, the multi-functional electronic component (1) shown in FIG. 1 of Patent Document 1 is provided at the center of the rotary knob (20) for operating the rotary electronic component. The push button knob (10) for operating the push-type electronic component is installed, and further the rotary knob (20) is pressed from its upper surface to swing, thereby turning the rotary knob (20) for operating the swing-type electronic component. There is a configuration that also serves as a knob. According to the multi-function electronic component (1), a multi-function electronic component having both the function of the rotary electronic component, the function of the pressing electronic component, and the function of the swing electronic component can be configured in a compact manner. it can.

By the way, in the multifunctional electronic component (1) having the above structure, for example, when the rotary knob (20) is pressed and swung from its upper surface, which part is pressed and swung can be indicated. The indicator was provided on the surface around the opening of the exterior case provided with an opening exposing the rotary knob (20). Since the rotary knob (20) rotates, the index cannot be provided on the upper surface of the rotary knob (20).

However, providing an indicator on the exterior case substantially means an increase in the outer diameter of the multifunctional electronic component (1), and depending on the electronic equipment, the indicator may be used from the standpoint of decoration and usability of the exterior case. It was desired to be provided inside the rotary knob (20). That is, for example, the position of the indicator provided on the exterior case, that is, the decoration of the exterior case must be changed only by changing the rotational angle of the multifunctional electronic component (1) relative to the exterior case. If an indicator is provided in the component (1), the decoration of the exterior case may not be changed at all.

In the multifunctional electronic component (1) having the above-described structure, the sliding object (60), the case (40), and the rotary knob (20) are stacked on the mounting base (90). Therefore, the thickness of the multifunctional electronic component (1) is increased.
JP 2007-335191 A

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional electronic component in which an index can be easily provided inside a rotary knob.

The invention according to claim 1 of the present application is a display member formed by projecting a shaft portion from a lower portion of a display portion displaying an index, and an outer periphery provided below the display portion of the display member with a radius from the outer periphery of the display portion. A rotary knob that protrudes outward in the direction and is pivotally supported on the shaft portion, a mounting base on which the shaft portion of the display member is mounted and attached, and a rotary knob that is installed between the rotary knob and the mounting base. An electrical function unit that changes electrical output by the rotation of the rotary knob, a support member that is installed below the mounting base and supports the mounting base in a swingable manner, and is installed on the support member. A multifunction electronic component comprising: a pressing switch that is pressed by swinging the mounting base.

In the invention according to claim 2 of the present application, in the multi-function electronic component according to claim 1, a push button knob is installed so as to be movable up and down in an opening provided through the display portion and the shaft portion of the display member. In addition, a central switch in which a pressing portion protruding from the lower surface of the push button knob is vertically pierced through a pressing portion insertion hole provided in the mounting base, and the lower end of the pressing portion of the push button knob is installed on the support member. The multifunctional electronic component is characterized by being installed above.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the multifunctional electronic component according to the first or second aspect, the display portion of the display member has a substantially disc shape, and is between the lower surface and the rotary knob. A click mechanism is installed, and the click mechanism includes a click plate attached to the lower surface of the display portion of the display member and an uneven click formed on the upper surface of the rotary knob to elastically contact the elastic contact portion provided on the click plate. Further, an elastic contact portion is inserted on the lower surface of the display portion, and the elastic contact portion of the click plate is inserted when the elastic contact portion of the click plate rides on the convex portion of the click engagement portion. The multifunctional electronic component is characterized in that a part is provided.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the indicator is provided on the non-rotating display member installed inside the outer periphery of the rotary knob, the indicator can be easily provided inside the rotary knob. As a result, the outer diameter of the entire multifunctional electronic component including the indicator can be reduced, and the exterior case surrounding the rotary knob can be freely decorated without considering the indicator of the multifunctional electronic component. The degree of freedom is increased.
In addition, since the rotary knob and the display portion of the display member are merely installed on the top of the mounting base so as to be stacked, the thickness can be reduced.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the rotary knob is pivotally supported on the shaft portion of the display member that does not rotate in the first aspect, and is moved up and down in the opening provided in the display member that does not rotate in the second aspect. Since the push button knob is freely installed, both the rotary knob and the push button knob are independently attached to the non-rotating display member. Therefore, the rotation of the rotary knob and the vertical movement of the push button knob do not interfere with each other, and both can be performed smoothly.

According to the invention described in claim 3, the click plate is attached to the lower surface of the display portion of the display member, the click engagement portion is provided on the upper surface of the rotary knob, and the elastic contact portion insertion portion is provided on the lower surface of the display portion. The first circuit board portion 171 has a substantially circular outer shape, is provided with a circular opening 177 through which the shaft portion 153 of the mounting base 150 is inserted at the center, and has a desired sliding contact pattern around the opening 177 on the lower surface thereof. 179 is provided. The sliding contact pattern 179 is formed by printing a conductive paste such as silver or the like, and detailed description is omitted in the figure, but in this embodiment, a switch pattern is formed. In addition, insertion portions 181 each including a through hole are provided at four positions facing each mounting base mounting portion 33 of the display member 10 around the opening portion 177.

The second circuit board portion 175 has a substantially octagonal outer shape with an outer diameter slightly larger than that of the first circuit board portion 171, and is centered on the center of the upper surface (the opposite surface provided with the sliding contact pattern 179). The switch 183 is installed, and the pressing switch 185 is installed at a plurality of positions around the central switch 183 (in this embodiment, four positions at the same circumferential equal interval (90 ° interval)). Yes. Both the central switch 183 and the push switch 185 have the same structure, and in each case, an inversion plate (a dome shape formed by forming an elastic metal plate on a pair of switch contacts (not shown) formed on the second circuit board portion 175). Movable contact plates) 183a and 185a are attached, and the switch is turned on by pressing the reverse plates 183a and 185a and reversing them. A strip-shaped lead portion 188 is connected to the outer periphery of the second circuit board portion 175, and a connector for taking out outputs from the sliding contact pattern 179, the central switch 183, and the pressing switch 185 on the connector portion 189 at the tip thereof. A contact pattern 186 is provided.

The support member 190 is formed by forming a hard plate (in this embodiment, a metal plate (for example, a stainless steel plate)) in a substantially rectangular shape, and a plurality of positions on the outer periphery corresponding to the pair of engaging pieces 159 of the mounting base 150. In this embodiment, there are provided two tongue-like engagement piece mounting portions 191 that are bent upward from the outer periphery and are erected substantially vertically. . Each engagement piece attachment portion 191 is formed with an engagement piece insertion portion 193 having a rectangular opening for inserting the distal end portion of the engagement piece 159 and attaching the engagement piece 159.

Next, a method for assembling the multifunctional electronic component 1 will be described. First, the slider 110 is installed in advance on the slider mounting surface 105 of the rotary knob 100, and at that time, the slider mounting portion 109 of the rotary knob 100 is inserted into the mounting fixing portion 113 of the slider 110, and the tip thereof is inserted. The slider 110 is attached to the rotary knob 100 by heat caulking. In addition, the click plate 40 is installed on the lower surface of the display member 10, and at that time, the shaft portion 31 of the display member 10 is inserted into the opening 54 of the click plate 40, and at the same time, the click plate mounting portion 19 of the display member 10. The click plate mounting portion 19 is inserted into the locking portion 47 and the tip of the click plate mounting portion 19 is caulked, whereby the click plate 40 is attached to the display member 10.

Next, the main body portion 71 of the push button knob 70 is inserted into the opening 13 of the display member 10 from below, and the operation portion 75 is installed in a state where it is exposed on the upper surface side of the display member 10. At this time, the pair of guide protrusions 81 of the push button knob 70 are inserted into the pair of guide grooves 35 of the display member 10 so as to be movable up and down. Next, the rotary knob 100 to which the slider 110 is attached is installed below the display member 10 on which the click plate 40 and the push button knob 70 are installed. At this time, the display member 10 is placed in the display member storage portion 101 of the rotary knob 100. The display portion 11 is housed, and at the same time, the shaft portion 31 of the display member 10 is rotatably inserted into the opening 103 of the rotary knob 100.

Next, the first circuit board portion 171 of the flexible circuit board 170 is placed on the upper surface of the mounting base 150 with the surface on which the sliding contact pattern 179 is provided facing upward. The part 153 is inserted into the opening 177 of the first circuit board part 171. Then, the rotary knob 100 on which the display member 10 or the like is mounted is installed on the mount 150, and the lower end of the shaft portion 31 of the display member 10 exposed at the lower surface of the opening 103 of the rotary knob 100 at that time is the first circuit board. Each mounting base mounting portion 33 that abuts on the portion 171 and simultaneously protrudes from the shaft portion 31 is inserted into each insertion portion 181 of the first circuit board portion 171 and each mounting portion 157 of the mounting base 150, and each mounting base mounting portion The tip of 33 is caulked with the lower surface of the mounting base 150, and the above-mentioned members are integrated. At this time, the pressing portion 73 of the push button knob 70 is inserted into the pressing portion insertion hole 151 of the mounting base 150, and the tip thereof is exposed on the lower surface side of the mounting base 150. As a result, the mounting base 150, the first circuit board portion 171 and the display member 10 are integrally fixed, the rotary knob 100 is pivotally supported by the shaft portion 31, and the elastic contact portion 49 of the click plate 40 is the rotary knob. The contact portion 117 of the slider 110 is in elastic contact with the sliding contact pattern 179 on the first circuit board portion 171.

Next, the flexible circuit board 170 is folded back at the connection part 173, and the second circuit board part 175 is disposed on the lower side of the mounting base 150 with the surface on which the pressing switch 185 or the like is installed facing upward. A support member 190 is stacked on the lower surface side of the second circuit board portion 175. At that time, the distal end portions of the pair of engaging pieces 159 of the mounting base 150 are attached by being inserted into the pair of engaging piece inserting portions 193 of the support member 190 while spreading the both engaging piece attaching portions 191. As a result, each pressing portion 163 of the mounting base 150 is placed on each pressing switch 185 on the second circuit board portion 175, and in this state, each engagement piece 159 is placed on the inner peripheral upper side of each engagement piece insertion portion 193. By contacting, the mounting base 150 is supported by the support member 190 so as to be swingable. At this time, the lower end of the pressing portion 73 of the push button knob 70 is placed on the central switch 183. Thus, the multifunctional electronic component 1 is completed. The above assembling procedure is an example, and it goes without saying that the assembly may be performed using other various assembling procedures.

As shown in FIG. 1, the multifunctional electronic component 1 assembled as described above includes a display member 10 having a shaft portion 31 protruding from a lower portion of a display portion 11 having an index 15 displayed on the upper surface, and a display member. A rotary knob 100 installed on the lower side of the display unit 11 and having an outer periphery protruding radially outward from the outer periphery of the display unit 11 and pivotally supported by the shaft unit 31; An electrical mounting comprising a mounting base 150 on which 31 is mounted, a slider 110 installed between the rotary knob 100 and the mounting base 150 and whose electrical output is changed by the rotation of the rotary knob 100 and a sliding contact pattern 179. A functional part, a support member 190 that is installed below the mounting base 150 and supports the mounting base 150 in a swingable manner, and a pressure switch that is installed on the support member 190 and pressed by the swinging of the mounting base 150 The push button knob 70 is installed in the opening 13 provided through the display portion 11 and the shaft portion 31 of the display member 10 so as to be movable up and down, and protrudes from the lower surface of the push button knob 70. The pressing part 73 is vertically penetrated through the pressing part insertion hole 151 provided in the mounting base 150, and the lower end of the pressing part 73 of the push button knob 70 is installed on a central switch 183 installed on the support member 190. Has been. Further, the display unit 11 of the display member 10 has a substantially disk shape, and a click plate 40 attached to the lower surface of the display unit 11 of the display member 10 and an upper surface of the rotary knob 100 between the lower surface and the rotary knob 100. A click mechanism is provided, which is constituted by an uneven click engaging portion 107 that is formed and elastically contacts the elastic contact portion 49 provided on the click plate 40.

Further, as shown by a dotted line in FIG. 1, the multifunctional electronic component 1 is installed inside the outer case 200, and the rotary knob 100 and the push button knob 70 are exposed in an opening 201 provided in the outer case 200. The

In the multi-function electronic component 1 configured as described above, when the rotary knob 100 is rotated, the slider 110 attached to the rotary knob 100 rotates integrally with the rotary knob 100, and the contact portion 117 is in the sliding pattern. By sliding on 179, the electrical output from the sliding contact pattern 179 changes. At the same time, the elastic contact portion 49 of the click plate 40 gets over the unevenness of the click engaging portion 107 of the rotary knob 100, and a click feeling is generated. By the way, when the elastic contact portion 49 of the click plate 40 rides on the convex portion of the click engagement portion 107, the elastic contact portion 49 and the arm portions 43 on both sides thereof are inserted into the elastic contact portion provided on the lower surface of the display unit 11. It is inserted into the part 17. In other words, since the elastic contact portion insertion portion 17 is provided on the lower surface of the display portion 11 and the elastic contact portion 49 that rises in the elastic contact portion 49 is accommodated in the lower surface of the display portion 11 40 (no need to provide a space between the lower surface of the display unit 11 and the base 41 of the click plate 40), the multifunctional electronic component 1 can be thinned.

On the other hand, when the operation portion 75 of the push button knob 70 is pressed, the push button knob 70 is lowered, the pressing portion 73 presses the reverse plate 183a of the central switch 183, and the central switch 183 is turned on. When the push on the push button knob 70 is released, the push button knob 70 returns to the original position by the elastic restoring force of the reversing plate 183a, and the central switch 183 is turned off.

Further, if the upper surface portion (the upper surface portion on the outer side in the radial direction of the index 15) corresponding to any of the indexes 15 of the knob operation unit 102 of the rotary knob 100 is pressed downward, the rotary knob 100 or the display member. 10 and the push button knob 70, the entire components installed on the mounting base 150 are tilted and swung in the direction in which they are integrally pressed with the mounting base 150, and the pressing switch 185 on which the pressed portion 163 on the lower side is opposed. The reversing plate 185a is pressed and reversed, and the pressing switch 185 is turned on. When the pressure on the rotary knob 100 is released, all the swinging components such as the rotary knob 100 and the mounting base 150 are automatically returned to their original positions by the elastic return force of the inverted reversing plate 185a. The push switch 185 is turned off.

According to the multi-function electronic component 1, since the indicator 15 is provided on the non-rotating display member 10 installed on the inner side of the outer periphery of the rotary knob 100 as described above, the indicator 15 is easily provided on the inner side of the rotary knob 100. Can be provided. As a result, the entire outer diameter of the multifunctional electronic component 1 including the index 15 can be reduced, and the decoration of the outer case 200 surrounding the rotary knob 100 can be used as the index 15 of the multifunctional electronic component 1. Can be performed freely without considering the above, and the degree of freedom increases. Further, since the rotary knob 100 and the display portion 11 of the display member 10 are mainly installed on the upper portion of the mounting base 150 so as to be laminated, the mounting base (90 shown in Patent Document 1 shown in the background art section). The thickness can be reduced as compared with the case where the sliding type object (60), the case (40), and the rotary knob (20) are stacked.

Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the three engagement assisting portions 161 all protrude outwardly in the radial direction from the outer periphery of the rotary knob 100, and when the outer case 200 is put thereon, these three engagement assisting portions 161 are projected. The auxiliary assisting portion 161 is located outside the opening 201 on the lower surface of the exterior case 200. When the rotary knob 100 is swung and its swing dimension is increased, the ascending engagement assisting portion 161 in the engagement assisting portion 161 comes into contact with the lower surface of the exterior case 200, and the rotation knob 100 is located at a position higher than that position. Will not swing. As a result, the swing amount is restricted, and the engagement pieces 159 of only the two places are reliably prevented from being disengaged from the engagement piece insertion portion 193.

Further, according to the multifunctional electronic component 1, the rotary knob 100 is pivotally supported on the shaft portion 31 of the non-rotating display member 10, and can be moved up and down in the opening 13 provided in the non-rotating display member 10. Since the push button knob 70 is installed, both the rotary knob 100 and the push button knob 70 are independently attached to the display member 10 that does not rotate. Accordingly, the rotation of the rotary knob 100 and the vertical movement of the push button knob 70 do not interfere with each other, and both can be performed smoothly.

In the above-described embodiment, the electrical function unit is configured by the slider 110 and the sliding contact pattern 179. However, the electrical function unit may have other various types as long as the electrical output is changed by the rotation of the rotary knob 100. It may be a configuration. In some cases, the central push button knob 70 and the central switch 183 pressed by the push button knob 70, that is, the push-type electronic component may be omitted.
