Claims (17)
- 繊維の液状懸濁液(suspension)を用意し、
繊維を破砕、こう解(beating)、または切断しないように、単一の移動面を用いてフィブリル化繊維(fibrillated fiber)を作成するように繊維をせん断リファイニング(shear refining)し、そして
続いて、フィブリル化繊維からナノファイバーを分離するようにフィブリル化繊維をクローズドチャネルリファイニング(closed channel refining)または均質化(homogenizing)し、
繊維懸濁液はせん断リファイニングから次続のクローズドチャネルリファイニングへおよびそこを通って連続的かつ一続きで流れ、そしてせん断リファイニングからクローズドチャネルリファイニングへの繊維懸濁液の流量は制御され、処理後のナノファイバーは50から0のカナディアン・スタンダード・フリーネス評価を有する、
ナノファイバーを作成するための方法。 - 分離されたナノファイバーを残りのフィブリル化またはコア繊維から実質的に分離することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 繊維懸濁液を加圧し、該加圧された繊維懸濁液を、フィブリル化繊維からナノファイバーを分離しそして選択的に繊維コアから追加のナノファイバーを作成するのに十分なせん断力を繊維懸濁液の繊維に与えるような圧力および寸法の口を通過させることにより均質化が遂行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 付着されたナノファイバーを有する繊維コアからなるフィブリル化繊維の液状懸濁液を用意し、そして
繊維コアからナノファイバーを分離しそして繊維コアから追加のナノファイバーを生成するように、最初に第1のせん断速度で、続いて第2の、より高いせん断速度でフィブリル化繊維をクローズドチャネルリファイニングまたは均質化し、
