Conventionally, in the pad printing, the gravure printing, the screen printing, etc., a device for improving the printing system has been made. For example, the inventor of the present invention discloses an invention that improves printing accuracy and enables multicolor printing by combining a relief printing original plate with a printing pad (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

3)JP-A-2-239972 (page 8-9, FIG. 3)

The invention disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a remarkable effect when printing a flat surface or a curved surface at a time.
However, for example, when the shape of the printing medium is complicated, for example, when a recessed portion is formed in the printing medium, there is a problem that it is difficult to print in the recessed portion.
Also, when printing multiple times, for example, when printing the northern and southern hemispheres of the sphere separately, or when printing the sides of the rectangular parallelepiped separately, the edge of the print area (the equator of the sphere) In addition, there is a problem that an overlapping range of printing occurs in the ridge line portion of the rectangular parallelepiped, and the color tone of the overlapping range becomes dark.

6 to 8, the printing surface 10 of the printing medium 100 is divided into a plurality of small printing surfaces... 1c, 1d, 1e... So that the respective boundaries overlap each other with a predetermined width. (Similar to S1 shown in FIG. 1), small patterns 20c, 2d, 2e,..., 2b, 2d, 2e,. (According to S2 shown in FIG. 1).
Then, small unfolded patterns... 3c, 3d, 3e... Are developed by developing each of the small patterns... 2c, 2d, 2e... In a plane (according to S3 shown in FIG. 1).
... Small print patterns corresponding to each of the small printed surfaces... 1c, 1d, 1e... 30c, 30d, 30e. Ink is applied along 3d, 3e,... (According to S4 shown in FIG. 1).

At this time, for example, in the small printing original plate 30c, an enlarged small developed pattern 3bcd obtained by adding a boundary range 3dc equivalent to a predetermined width in contact with the small developed picture 3c of the small developed picture 3d to a range equivalent to the small developed picture 3c. Ink is put along.
A boundary range 3cd equivalent to a predetermined width in contact with the small development pattern 3d of the small development design 3c and a boundary range 3dc equivalent to a predetermined width in contact with the small development design 3c of the small development design 3d are placed in an overlapping range 5cd. The amount of ink is smaller than the amount of ink placed in the inner range 3cc obtained by removing the overlapping range 5cd from the range equivalent to the enlarged small developed pattern 3bcd (see FIG. 7A).

Similarly, for example, in the small printing original plate 30d, a boundary range 3cd equivalent to a predetermined width in contact with the small development pattern 3d of the small development pattern 3c and a small development of the small development pattern 3e are in a range equivalent to the small development pattern 3d. Ink is placed along a range equivalent to the enlarged and small developed pattern 3cde obtained by adding a boundary range 3ed equivalent to a predetermined width in contact with the pattern 3d.
Then, the amount of ink placed in the overlapping range 5cd, the boundary range 3de equivalent to the predetermined width in contact with the small expanded pattern 3e of the small expanded pattern 3d, and the predetermined width in contact with the small expanded pattern 3d of the small expanded pattern 3e are equal. The amount of ink placed in the overlapping range 5de combined with the boundary range 3ed is smaller than the amount of ink placed in the inner range 3dd excluding the overlapping range 5cd and the overlapping range 5de from the range equivalent to the enlarged and small developed pattern 3cde. (See FIG. 7B).

That is, for example, the number of halftone dots in the overlapping range 5cd is smaller than the number of halftone dots in the inner range 3cc and the inner range 3dd. Alternatively, the distribution of halftone dots (density per unit area) in the overlapping range 5cd gradually decreases as the distance from the inner range 3cc or the inner range 3dd increases.
Alternatively, the halftone dot size in the overlapping range 5cd is smaller than the halftone dot size in the inner range 3cc and the inner range 3dd. Alternatively, the size of the halftone dot in the overlapping range 5cd gradually decreases as the distance from the inner range 3cc or the inner range 3dd increases. In addition, it is the same as that of Embodiment 1 that the method of putting ink is not limited.

Further, as in the first embodiment, the ink is transferred to the small printing blankets... 40c, 40d, 40e. -Adhere the ink along (according to S5 shown in FIG. 1).
Next, the small printing blanket... 40c, 40d, 40e... Is pressed against the corresponding small printed surface... 1c, 1d, 1e. 2d, 2e... Are printed (according to S6 shown in FIG. 1).

Then, for example, the predetermined width of the boundary between the small picture 2c and the small picture 2d overlaps each other, the predetermined width of the boundary between the small picture 2d and the small picture 2e overlaps each other, and the amount of ink in the overlapping range is equal to the overlapping range. Since it is less than the amount of ink in the excluded inner range, the pattern in the overlapping range does not become dark (see FIG. 8).
At this time, for example, in the small printing original plate 30c, the amount of ink placed in a range equivalent to the overlapping range 5cd with the small developed image 3d is reduced to “α”%, while in the small printing original plate 30d, the small developed image 3c is reduced. If the amount of ink placed in the range equivalent to the overlap range 5cd is reduced to “100−α”%, the pattern in the overlap range 5cd will not be darkened or thinned, and the aesthetics will be impaired. There is nothing.

According to the present invention, since it is possible to print on a printing medium having a complicated shape, for example, it can be widely used as a printing method on a printing medium having a recess.
