発明の分野
本発明は概して、超音波静止画像および/またはリアルタイム画像の生成に関し、特に、胎児、新生児、および/または成人の器官の標準的な解剖学的面の超音波静止画像および/またはリアルタイム画像のオペレータ非依存性表示に関する。
本出願は、2003年4月16日に出願された米国特許仮出願第60/463,045号に対する優先権を主張し、かつこの出願を参照として本明細書に組み入れる。
超音波検査法は、オペレータ依存性撮像モダリティである。すなわち、コンピュータ断層撮影(CT)や核磁気共鳴映像法(MRI)のような他の撮像技術とは異なり、超音波によって得られる画像の品質は、画像を得る音波検査者および/または音波検査技師の技能に直接依存する。さらに、産科超音波撮像では、子宮内の胎児の位置の変化が、困難度を高める追加因子となる。
本発明の少なくとも1つの態様について詳しく説明する前に、本発明が、構成の細部への本発明の適用や、以下の説明に記載されるかまたは図面に示されている構成要素の構成に限らないことを理解されたい。本発明は、他の態様であってよく、かつ様々な方法で実施することができる。さらに、本明細書で使用される表現および用語が、説明のためのものであり、制限とみなすべきものではないことを理解されたい。

Claims (16)
- コンピュータ可読媒体上に記録され、医学的撮像環境で使用されるコンピュータ・プログラムであって、
コンピュータが、トランスジューサによって体器官の少なくとも一部の超音波画像データを取得する手順と、
前記コンピュータが、前記体器官内の複数の空間位置を含み、かつ前記体器官の任意の基準面と少なくとも1つの標準化面との関係を定義する体器官特有データに基づいて、前記標準化面とは異なる前記基準面を生成して定義する手順と、
ディスプレイに、前記基準面および前記標準化面の少なくとも一方に対応する少なくとも2つの超音波画像を、自動的にかつ実質的に同時に表示する手順と、
を実行させるためのコンピュータ・プログラム。 - 前記体器官が、胎児の心臓であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記基準面が、四腔像であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記標準化面を定義する前記データが、右心室流出路画像、左心室流出路画像、管弓画像、大動脈弓画像、静脈結合部画像、およびthree vessel view画像のうちの少なくとも1つを定義するデータを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記体器官が、胎児の頭部であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記基準面が、胎児の頭部の大横径であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記コンピュータによる処理が、音波検査機器と関連付けされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記コンピュータに、前記撮像された器官の医学的評価を行わせる手順をさらに実行させる請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 画像認識ソフトウェアを用いて、標準化化面の配置と前記医学的評価の少なくとも一方を容易にすることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記医学的評価が、
画像内の特定の構造を認識する段階と、
前記構造を基準画像と比較する段階と、
前記構造の正常な解剖学的特徴と異常な解剖学的特徴の少なくとも一方を識別する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。 - 前記少なくとも2つの超音波画像の表示が、各画像ごとに前後方向の矢状面、左右方向の横断面、および上下方向の前額面を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記表示が、リアルタイム表示であることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記少なくとも2つの超音波画像の前記表示が、前記基準面および前記基準面に関連する複数の前記標準化面の表示を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- 前記標準化面の表示が、基準レベルで取得されたリアルタイム・ボリュームから直接行われる、1つまたは複数の標準化面のリアルタイム表示を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコンピュータ・プログラム。
- トランスジューサとプロセッサとディスプレイとを備えたシステムの作動方法であって、
前記トランスジューサが、体器官の少なくとも一部の超音波画像データを取得する段階と、
前記プロセッサが、前記体器官内の複数の空間位置を含み、かつ前記体器官の任意の基準面と少なくとも1つの標準化面との関係を定義する体器官特有データに基づいて、前記標準化面とは異なる前記基準面を生成して定義する段階と、
前記プロセッサが、前記基準面および前記標準化面の少なくとも一方に対応する少なくとも2つの超音波画像を、自動的にかつ実質的に同時に前記ディスプレイに表示する段階と、
を含むシステムの作動方法。 - 体器官の少なくとも一部に関連する任意の場所で取得した、前記体器官の少なくとも一部の超音波画像データを取得するトランスジューサと、
前記超音波画像を処理して前記体器官の基準面を定義し、前記基準面に関する少なくとも1つの標準化面を、前記体器官の前記基準面と前記標準化面との空間数学的関係を用いて、前記体器官内の空間位置に基づいて、生成して定義するプロセッサと、
ディスプレイと、
を備え、
前記プロセッサが、前記基準面および前記標準化面の少なくとも一方に対応する少なくとも2つの超音波画像を、自動的にかつ実質的に同時に表示するのを容易にしたことを特徴とするシステム。
