Description
本発明の他の目的は、上記金属鋼板の表面処理組成物がコーティングされた金属鋼板を提供するためのものである。
本発明の目的は、以上に述べた目的に制限されず、言及していない他の目的は下記の記載から当業者は明確に理解できると思われる。
また、本発明は、上記表面処理組成物で表面処理された鋼板を提供する。
1.表面処理組成物の製造
(実施例1−19)
ビニルモノマーとしてビニルアセテートとビニルアルコールを同一重量比に使用してビニル系バインダー樹脂を製造した。上記、ビニル系バインダー樹脂の製造時、上記ビニルモノマーに下記の表1の耐食性無機物の前駆体を添加して耐食性無機物でSiが単独で複合化されるか、或いはSi、Ti、Al、Mg及びPが複合化されたビニル系バインダー樹脂を製造した。アクリルモノマーとしてn−ブチルアクリレートを使用してアクリル系バインダー樹脂を製造した。上記アクリル系バインダー樹脂の製造時、上記アクリルモノマーに下記の表1の耐食性無機物の前駆体を添加して耐食性無機物としてSiが単独で複合化されるか、或いはSi、Ti、Al、Mg、Pが複合化されたアクリル系バインダー樹脂を製造した。
耐食性無機物が複合化されたビニル系樹脂とアクリル系樹脂の使用量を、表1に記載された通り含量を変更させたことを除いては、上記実施例と同一な方法で表面処理組成物を製造した。
耐食性無機物でシリケート、チタネート、アルミネート、マグネシア及びホスフェート化合物をバインダー樹脂に複合化させず添加剤と共に表面処理組成物に表1に記載された組成で添加したことを除いては上記実施例と同一な方法で表面処理組成物を製造した。
1)試片:表面処理組成物を塗布するための素材鋼板として実施例1乃至17、比較例1乃至8は付着量が片面基準20g/m2の電気亜鉛メッキ鋼板(EG)を使用し、比較例9及び実施例18は上記電気亜鉛メッキ鋼板にリン酸塩下地処理が施された(株)ポスコの製品を使用した。また、実施例19は付着量が片面基準60g/m2の溶融亜鉛メッキ鋼板(GI)を使用した。
2)塗布方法:実施例1乃至19及び比較例1乃至9の表面処理組成物を連続Roll Coating Simulatorを使用して金属板の片面に塗布してPMT(Pick Metal Temperature)150℃で乾燥した。乾燥後の樹脂被膜の厚さは約1.0μmであった。
(1)伝導性:樹脂被膜がコーティングされた試片の表面を表面抵抗測定機(Loresta−GP)で測定し、次の基準により評価した。
○:表面抵抗1mΩ以下
△:表面抵抗10Ω以下
X:表面抵抗10Ω以上で伝導性または溶接性が極めて不良な状態
(2)耐食性:試片(平板)をJISZ2371に基づいた塩水噴霧試験を120時間行って発錆の程度を次の基準により評価した。
○:白錆5%以下
△:白錆5%以上20%未満
X:白錆20%以上
(3)耐アルカリ性:50℃のアルカリ溶液(finecleaner L4460、pH13)に5分間沈積して水洗いを行った後、樹脂コーティング層の剥離程度を肉眼で観察して次の基準により評価した。
○:剥離無し
△:剥離5%以下発生
X:剥離5%以上発生で耐アルカリ性が極めて不良な状態
(4)耐高温耐湿性:抗温抗湿試験機(温度60℃、湿度95%)で48時間維持させた後、試験前後の色差を測定して、次の基準により評価した。
○:△E≦1
△:△E≦2
X:△E≧2で耐高温耐湿性が極めて不良な状態
(5)コーティング層の構造:同一組成を有する上記実施例5と比較例8の表面処理組成物をそれぞれ電気亜鉛メッキ鋼板の表面にコーティングした後、そのコーティング層の表面の構造を原子間力顕微鏡(AFM;Atomic Force Microscopy)で比較した。
(6)耐熱性:各温度(100℃、150℃、200℃、250℃)に設定されたオーブンの中に試片をそれぞれ1時間維持させた後自然冷却した。上記耐食性の評価方法の条件として上記各試片に対する塩水噴霧試験を行い発錆の程度で比較した。
上記条件で金属表面処理組成物の性能を評価して表1に表した。
(2)アクリル樹脂製造時のアクリルモノマーとしてn−ブチルアクリレート使用。
(3)比較例1、実施例6及び実施例11では耐食性無機物はシリケートを使用して提供される。
(4)比較例2乃至9、実施例1乃至5、実施例7乃至10及び実施例12乃至19では、ビニル樹脂及びアクリル樹脂に対する耐食性無機物は、シリケート:チタネート:アルミネート:マグネシア:ホスフェートが80:8:5:4:3の重量比で混合された混合物を使用して提供される。
Claims (12)
- i)耐食性無機物が結合されたビニル系バインダー樹脂と、ii)耐食性無機物が結合されたアクリル系バインダー樹脂と、iii)溶媒とを含み、
前記ビニル系バインダー樹脂の量は全体固形分の10乃至70重量%で、前記アクリル系バインダー樹脂の量は全体固形分の15乃至75重量%で、前記耐食性無機物は全体固形分の3乃至25重量%で存在し、
前記耐食性無機物が結合されたビニル系バインダー樹脂は、ビニル系バインダー樹脂を製造するためのビニル系モノマーの重合反応時に耐食性無機物の前駆体がビニル系バインダー樹脂の有機官能基と反応するよう耐食性無機物の前駆体を共に反応させることで得られ、
前記耐食性無機物が結合されたアクリル系バインダー樹脂は、アクリル系バインダー樹脂を製造するためのアクリル系モノマーの重合反応時に耐食性無機物の前駆体がアクリル系バインダー樹脂の有機官能基と反応するよう耐食性無機物の前駆体を共に反応させることで得られ、
前記耐食性無機物は、1B族元素、2A族元素、2B族元素、3B族元素、4A族元素、4B族元素、5A族元素、5B族元素、6A族元素、8族元素及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択され、
前記耐食性無機物の前駆体は、前記耐食性無機物の塩、酸化物または水素化物であり、
前記ビニル系バインダー樹脂は、ビニルアセテート、ビニルアルコール及びビニルクロライドで構成されるグループから選択された少なくとも一種のビニル単量体を使用して製造したものであり、
前記アクリル系バインダー樹脂は、n−ブチルアクリレート、メチルメタクリレート及びn−ブチルメタクリレートで構成されるグループから選択された少なくとも1種のアクリル単量体を使用して製造したものである、ことを特徴とする金属の表面処理組成物。 - 前記耐食性無機物が、Si、Ti、Al、Mg、Zr、Mo、P、W、V、Ni、Ag、Au、Cu及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記耐食性無機物が結合されたビニル系バインダー樹脂は、ビニル系バインダー樹脂100重量部に対して5乃至23重量部の耐食性無機物を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記耐食性無機物が結合されたアクリル系バインダー樹脂は、アクリル系バインダー樹脂100重量部に対して5乃至23重量部の耐食性無機物を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のる金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記組成物は、耐食性無機物が結合されないアクリル、ウレタン、エポキシ、アルキド、スチレン/ブタジエン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエステル及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択された少なくとも一つの耐食性無機物が結合されていない樹脂をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記耐食性無機物が結合されていない樹脂は、全体組成物の固形分を基準に50重量%以下に使用することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 1B族元素、2A族元素、2B族元素、3B族元素、4A族元素、4B族元素、5A族元素、5B族元素、6A族元素、8族元素及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択された別途の耐食性無機物が組成物の固形分を基準に10重量%以下にさらに含まれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記表面処理組成物は、ウェット剤、架橋剤、硬化剤、潤滑剤、消泡剤及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択された添加剤を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記架橋剤は、ビニルシラン、アクリルシラン、エポキシシラン、クロロシラン、アルコキシシラン、シラザン及びシリル化剤からなる群から選択された少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 前記潤滑剤は、シリコンワックス、ポリエチレンワックス、ポリプロピレンワックス、アマイドワックス、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)ワックス及びパラフィンワックスからなる群から選択された少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の金属の表面処理組成物。
- 請求項1乃至10のうち何れか1項に記載の表面処理組成物で表面処理された金属鋼板。
- 前記鋼板は、亜鉛メッキ鋼板、亜鉛系電気メッキ鋼板、溶融メッキ鋼板、アルミニウムメッキ鋼板、メッキ層にコバルト、モリブデン、タングステン、ニッケル、チタン、アルミニウム、マンガン、鉄、マグネシウム、錫、銅またはこれらの混合物を含有したメッキ鋼板、メッキ層にシリカ、アルミナまたはこれらの混合物を分散させたメッキ鋼板、及びシリコン、銅、マグネシウム、鉄、マンガン、チタン、亜鉛またはこれらの混合物を添加したアルミニウム合金板、冷延鋼板、及び熱延鋼板からなる群から選択されたものであることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の金属鋼板。
