Description

The present invention relates to an adapter for connecting a mouth member of a pouch container with a mouth member filled with, for example, an enteral nutrient or a liquid food, and a medical catheter with a connector such as a gastric fistula catheter.

As a nutritional supplement for people who suffer from dysphagia due to stroke, etc. and who are unable to eat on their own, or who are prone to pneumonia even if they eat, venous nutrition, in which nutrients are added to the vein by infusion, has been widely used. However, if this is continued for a long time, the resistance of the intestinal mucosa may be reduced and sepsis due to bacterial infection may occur, so in recent years, a percutaneous endoscopic gastric fistula with a gastric fistula catheter in the stomach and a hole in the abdomen Enteral feeding method that absorbs nutrients and water in the original form from the intestinal tract by performing enlargement (PEG) and directly administering enteral nutrients, liquid foods, etc. to the stomach through this gastrostomy catheter Is adopted.

By the way, such enteral nutrients and liquid foods for gastric fistula are filled in a pouch container with a mouth member to which a mouth member serving as a spout is attached. When directly administering enteral nutrients, liquid food, etc. to the stomach, the mouth member of the pouch container with mouth member filled with enteral nutrients, liquid food, etc. and the gastric fistula catheter are connected via a predetermined adapter. Done by connecting.

However, currently, gastrostomy catheters are generally distributed in two types with a large diameter and a small diameter at the connection part into which the adapter is press-fitted, so that the mouth member filled with enteral nutrients, liquid foods, etc. The manufacturer of the attached pouch container has to attach two kinds of adapters corresponding to each gastrostomy catheter so that leakage does not occur, and there is a problem that it lacks versatility.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an adapter that can reliably connect the two types of gastrostomy catheters described above to the mouth member of the pouch container with the mouth member without causing leakage.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the invention according to claim 1 is an adapter for connecting a mouth member of a pouch container with a mouth member and a medical catheter with a connector, and connecting the medical catheter with a connector to one end side A taper-shaped catheter-side mounting portion that is press-fitted into the portion, and a pouch-side mounting portion that is connected to the mouth member of the pouch container with the mouth member at the other end, and the catheter-side mounting portion has a shape The anti-slip part has a small-diameter connection part and a large-diameter connection part formed with different anti-slip parts, and the anti-slip part of the small-diameter connection part is constituted by a plurality of cross-sectional serrated protrusions, and the large-diameter connection part The non-slip portion of the part is provided with an adapter characterized by being constituted by a plurality of protrusions having a substantially semicircular cross section .

The invention according to claim 2 is the adapter of the invention according to claim 1, further comprising an intermediate portion connecting the catheter side mounting portion and the pouch side mounting portion, and the intermediate portion includes an outer peripheral surface thereof. A knurling composed of a plurality of protrusions extending in the circumferential direction is formed .

As described above, in the adapter according to the first aspect of the present invention, the non-slip portions having different shapes are formed in the small- diameter connection portion and the large-diameter connection portion in the catheter side mounting portion, and a plurality of anti-slip portions of the small-diameter connection portion are provided. Since the cross-section sawtooth-shaped ridge and the non-slip portion of the large-diameter connection portion are configured by a plurality of substantially semi-circular ridges, there is no leakage and medical use with a connector As a catheter, it is possible to reliably connect two types of gastrostomy catheters that are generally distributed and the mouth member of the pouch container with the mouth member .

The adapter of the invention according to claim 2 is provided with an intermediate portion for connecting the catheter side mounting portion and the pouch side mounting portion, and forms a knurl comprising a plurality of protrusions extending in the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate portion. since the, the adapter when inserted into and removed from the connecting portion of the gastrostomy catheter, it is possible to prevent the slippage of the fingers.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 and 2 show an adapter for connecting a mouth member of a pouch container with a mouth member filled with enteral nutrients, liquid food, and the like to a gastric fistula catheter.

This adapter 1 is a cylindrical body formed of polypropylene, and is press-fitted into a connecting portion of a gastric fistula catheter formed on one end side as shown in FIGS. 1 (a), 1 (b) and 2. A tapered taper-shaped catheter-side mounting part 11, a pouch-side mounting part 14 connected to the mouth member of the pouch container with a mouth member formed on the other end side, a catheter-side mounting part 11 and a pouch-side mounting part 14 And an intermediate portion 15 for connecting the two.

When connecting the mouth member of the pouch container with the mouth member and the gastric fistula catheter, the pouch side attachment portion 14 and the intermediate portion 15 are provided, and the catheter side attachment portion press-fitted into the connection portion of the gastric fistula catheter. In the vicinity of the boundary between the catheter side mounting part 11 and the intermediate part 15, the outer diameter of the intermediate part 15 is extremely smaller than the outer diameter of the catheter side mounting part 11 so that the finger is not contaminated with the finger 11. Yes.

The outer peripheral surface of the catheter-side mounting portion 11 is anti-slip processed, but is formed on the anti-slip portion 12a formed on the small-diameter connection portion 12 on the distal end side and the large-diameter connection portion 13 on the proximal end side. The anti-slip portion 13a has a different shape, and the anti-slip portion 12a of the small-diameter connection portion 12 is constituted by a plurality of cross-sectional sawtooth-shaped protrusions, and the anti-slip portion of the large-diameter connection portion 13 13a is constituted by a plurality of protrusions having a substantially semicircular cross section. The catheter-side mounting portion 11 has a minimum outer diameter φ1 of 5.0 to 7.0 mm, a maximum outer diameter φ2 of 11.0 to 14.0 mm, and a boundary portion between the small diameter connecting portion 12 and the large diameter connecting portion 13. The intermediate outer diameter φ3 is set to 7.5 to 10.0 mm, and the total length L is set to 20 to 45 mm.

The overall length of the small-diameter connecting portion 12 is set to about 10 to 25 mm, and each of the protrusions having a serrated cross section constituting the anti-slip portion 12a of the small-diameter connecting portion 12 has a width as shown in FIG. w1 (the length in the axial direction of the small diameter connecting portion 12) is set to 2 to 6 mm, the step v on the large diameter side is set to 0.1 to 1.5 mm, and the inclination angle θ is set to 5 to 20 degrees.

The overall length of the large-diameter connecting portion 13 is set to about 10 to 20 mm, and each protrusion having a semicircular cross section constituting the anti-slip portion 13a of the large-diameter connecting portion 13 is as shown in FIG. Further, the formation pitch p is 1 to 5 mm, the width w2 (the length in the axial direction of the small diameter connecting portion 12) is 0.2 to 2 mm, and the protruding height h in the radial direction of the large diameter connecting portion 13 is 0.1. It is set to ˜1 mm.

The pouch-side mounting portion 14 is formed with a knurl made of six protrusions 14a extending in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and is screwed with a screw formed on the mouth member of the pouch container with a mouth member. A thread 14b is formed on the inner peripheral surface. Therefore, the adapter 1 can be easily attached to and detached from the mouth member of the pouch container with the mouth member only by rotating the adapter 1 about once, and when the adapter 1 is rotated, Finger slipping can be reliably prevented.

The intermediate portion 15 is formed with a knurl formed of four protrusions 15a extending in the circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and when the adapter 1 is inserted into and removed from the connecting portion of the gastric fistula catheter, a finger slips. There is no such thing.

In order to connect the mouth member of the pouch container with a mouth member and the gastric fistula catheter using the adapter 1 configured as described above, first, as shown in FIG. The screw cap 22 that closes the mouth member 21 is removed, and the pouch side mounting portion 14 of the adapter 1 is screwed and attached to the mouth member 21 of the pouch container 2 with the mouth member, as shown in FIG.

Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 5 (a), (b) or FIG. 6 (a), (b), the catheter side mounting portion 11 of the adapter 1 mounted on the mouth member 21 of the pouch container 2 with the mouth member, When press-fitting into the connection portion 31A of the gastric fistula catheter 3A or the connection portion 31B of the gastric fistula catheter 3B, the pouch container 2 with a mouth member and the gastric fistula catheter 3A or the gastric fistula catheter 3B are connected via the adapter 1 and the mouth member. It will be in the state which can administer the enteral nutrient and liquid food with which the attached pouch container 2 was filled.

Since the connecting portion 31A of the gastric fistula catheter 3A has a small press-fitting hole of the adapter, only the small-diameter connecting portion 12 in the catheter side mounting portion 11 of the adapter 1 is press-fitted as shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b). However, since the connecting portion 31B of the gastric fistula catheter 3B has a large press-fitting hole of the adapter, as shown in FIGS. 6 (a) and 6 (b), the small-diameter connecting portion 12 in the catheter-side mounting portion 11 of the adapter 1 and Both large-diameter connecting portions 13 are press-fitted.

Hereinafter, in order to evaluate the connection performance of the adapter 1, only the non-slip processing similar to that of the small-diameter connection portion 12 of the adapter 1 is performed on the entire outer peripheral surface of the adapter 1 (Example 1) and the catheter side mounting portion. The adapter (comparative example 1) provided with the structure similar to Example 1 except the point which is not only the slip prevention process similar to the large diameter connection part 13 of the adapter 1 on the whole outer peripheral surface of a catheter side mounting part. The adapter (Comparative Example 2) having the same configuration as that of Example 1 is press-fitted into the connection portions 31A and 31B of the two types of gastric fistula catheters 3A and 3B described above. The force required for pulling out this was measured with a push-pull gauge (measurement speed: 100 mm / sec), and the results are shown in Table 1. Each adapter is press-fitted into the connecting portion 31A of the gastric fistula catheter 3A until the outer diameter of each adapter is 9.0 mm, and the outer diameter of each adapter is 12. Each adapter was press-fitted to a position of 5 mm.

Figure 0005209285
Figure 0005209285

As can be seen from Table 1, in the case of Comparative Example 1 where only the non-slip process similar to that of the small-diameter connecting portion 12 of the adapter 1 is applied to the entire outer peripheral surface of the catheter side mounting portion, the gastric fistula catheter 3A having a small press-fit hole is provided. With regard to the gastrostomy catheter 3B having a large press-fitting hole than the gastrostomy catheter 3A such as 42.1N, it can be said that it has sufficient connection performance because a large pulling force such as 56.1N is required. Since it can be pulled out with a small pulling force, it can be said that the connection performance is inferior to that of the gastric fistula catheter 3A.

On the other hand, in the case of the comparative example 2 where only the non-slip processing similar to that of the large-diameter connection portion 13 of the adapter 1 is performed on the entire outer peripheral surface of the catheter side mounting portion, the gastrostomy catheter 3B having a large press-fit hole is 52 Since a large pulling force of 1 N is required, it can be said that it has sufficient connection performance. However, the gastric fistula catheter 3A having a small press-fitting hole has a smaller pulling force than that of the gastric fistula catheter 3B such as 41.5 N. It can be said that the connection performance is inferior to that of the gastric fistula catheter 3B.

On the other hand, in the case of Example 1 having the small-diameter connecting portion 12 on the distal end side and the large-diameter connecting portion 13 on the proximal end side, the gastric fistula catheter 3A having a small press-fitting hole and the gastric fistula catheter 3B having a large press-fitting hole are provided. Since a large pulling force such as 57.9 N and 50.5 N is required for both, it can be seen that both the gastric fistula catheters 3A and 3B have sufficient connection performance.

In the above-described embodiment, the distal end side small diameter connecting portion 12 and the base end side large diameter connecting portion 13 are different in the shape of the convex portion constituting each, but it is limited to this. Instead, the formation interval and the number of protrusions may be changed between the small diameter side and the large diameter side.

In the embodiment described above, the anti-slip portion 13a of the large-diameter connection portion 13 is configured by a substantially semicircular cross-section ridge, but is not limited to this, for example, a triangular cross-section, a cross-section It is also possible to employ protrusions having a quadrangular shape or a polygonal cross section.

In the above-described embodiment, the connection between the balloon tube type gastrostomy catheter and the pouch container with the mouth member has been described as an example. However, the gastrostomy catheter is limited to such a balloon tube type. Needless to say, the adapter of the present invention can also be applied to the connection between a bumper tube type or a button type connection tube and a pouch container with a mouth member.

In the above-described embodiment, the adapter for connecting the gastric fistula catheter and the pouch container with a mouth member has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the adapter of the present invention is connected to a tube-shaped catheter. Needless to say, the present invention can also be applied when connecting a medical catheter with various connectors to which a pouch is attached and a pouch container with a mouth member.
