Description
詳細には、第3回路ユニットPCB700の端子タップ770は上方に突出しており、ケーブル520の一端522が端子タップ770に取り外し自在に連結されている。従って、上部ケース200が第3回路ユニットPCB700から分離したとき、電気的接続が容易に絶たれる。
Claims (7)
- 中型又は大型のバッテリーパックであって、
充電及び放電を行うことができ、互いに高密度で積み重ねられ、互いに電気的に接続された複数のバッテリーセルを備えてなり、
前記バッテリーパックの異常動作によって、又は前記バッテリーセルの長期間に亘る充電及び放電により生じる前記バッテリーパックの劣化によって、前記バッテリーセルが膨張したとき、膨張した前記バッテリーセルの厚さ変化により、前記バッテリーパックの所定の領域に応力が集中し、
これによって前記バッテリーパックに物理的変化を生じ、前記バッテリーパックの物理的変化により、前記バッテリーパックの電気接続部材が機械的に外れてなるものであり、 前記複数のバッテリーセルがユニットセルとして互いに連続的に積み重ねられるような上部受け入れ部分を持つ下部ケースと、
前記下部ケースに積み重ねられた前記ユニットセルの上端を覆うような下部受け入れ部分を持つ上部ケースと、
前記バッテリーの電圧、電流、及び/又は温度を検出するための感知基板組合せ体を持つ、前記積み重ねられたユニットセルを互いに電気的に接続するための第1回路ユニットと、
前記バッテリーパックの全体の動作を制御するためのメイン基板組合せ体を持つ、前記第1回路ユニットに電気的に接続された第2回路ユニットと、
前記第2回路ユニットに電気的に接続されるとともに、外部出力端子に接続された、過充電、過放電、及び/又は過電流を防止する第3回路ユニットとを備えてなり、
前記第1回路ユニットが、前記ユニットセルの電極端子の変位方向で前記バッテリーパックの前部に配置されてなり、
前記第2回路ユニットが、前記下部ケースの下部受け入れ部分に配置されてなり、
前記第3回路ユニットが、前記バッテリーパックの後部に配置されてなり、
前記電気接続部材が、ケーブルであり、
前記バッテリーセルが膨張したとき、前記電気接続部材の接続を機械的に外す前記電気接続部材の前記領域が、前記ケーブルと該ケーブルが接続されたタップ端子との間の接続領域、又は前記ケーブルの中間部分にある接続領域であるものであり、
前記ケーブルが、前記ユニットセルのうちの少なくとも一つの厚さに沿って延びるように構成されており、これによって、前記バッテリーセルの厚さが変化したとき、引張力が前記ケーブルに直接加わるものであり、
前記外れることができる前記電気接続部材が、前記バッテリーセルの向き合った端部(a、b)の一方に、即ち前記ユニットセルの一端(a)に配置されている場合、前記ユニットセルの他端(b)は固定されており、これによって、前記ユニットセルの厚さは前記ユニットセルの端部(a)のところで大きくなり、従って、前記電気接続部材は容易に外れてなり、
前記バッテリーパックにおける前記所定の領域が、前記バッテリーパックの物理的変化により、変形し、分離し、又は壊れるものであり、
前記所定の領域が、前記バッテリーパックの前部、後部又は側部に配置された部材の連結領域、又はこの部材自体である、バッテリーパック。 - 前記第3回路ユニットのプリント回路基板(PCB)(第3回路ユニットPCB)が前記バッテリーパックの前記側部又は前記後部に配置されている場合、前記バッテリーセルの膨張により物理的に変化する領域が、前記上部ケース、及び/又は前記下部ケース、及び前記第3回路ユニットPCBが互いに連結された連結領域である、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記連結領域での前記連結が、対応する部材に連結溝を形成し、これらの連結溝にボルトを挿入することによって行われる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記連結領域において一方の前記部材の前記連結溝が、開放した溝の形状で形成されている、請求項3に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記上部ケース又は前記下部ケースと、前記第3回路ユニットPCBとの間の前記連結領域が、前記バッテリーセルが膨張したときに物理的に変化し、
電気接続部材として機能する少なくとも一つのケーブルが、前記連結領域の物理的変化により少なくとも一つのケーブルが機械的に外れるように、前記第3回路ユニットPCBに前記上部ケース又は前記下部ケースを介して接続されてなる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記第3回路ユニットPCBには、前記少なくとも一つのケーブルの一端に接続されたタップ端子が設けられており、
該タップ端子が、引張力が加えられる方向に突出してなる、請求項5に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーパックが、電気自転車(E−バイク)、電気オートバイ、電気自動車、又はハイブリッド電気自動車用の電源として使用される、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
