Description

The present invention relates to a pants-type disposable diaper in which an absorption region of an absorber is effectively used.

Patent Document 1 discloses a pant-type diaper in which a stretchable side panel is provided on a side portion connecting a back side portion and a ventral side portion of a main body, and an elastic member is disposed in a waist opening of the main body. However, this underpants type diaper tends to have a gap at the waist opening and the leg opening. Further, since the side panel is inferior in stretch stress characteristics, there is a disadvantage that the size suitability range is generally narrow. Furthermore, in order to suppress the falling of the diaper, it is necessary to increase the stretching stress of the side panel, which gives the wearer a sense of unnecessary pressure, and requires excessive force when the diaper is spread, The ease of peeling and ease of wearing may be impaired.

Patent Document 2 describes a pants-type disposable diaper in which an elastic member around the waist is joined so as to have a non-stretched portion and a stretched portion. In this diaper, the non-stretched portion is formed by joining the elastic member to the back sheet with an adhesive in a non-stretched state. However, a large amount of adhesive is required to make only a specific portion unstretched while the elastic member is stretched, and processing problems are likely to occur. In addition, the manufacturing costs are high, and the entire diaper is hardened by the adhesive and the texture is lost. Moreover, since the opposite physical properties of the non-stretched state and the stretched state are realized by the same elastic member, it is difficult to control the stretched physical properties, and as a result, sufficient tightening force on the wearer's body is not generated. , The diaper slips down, and conversely, the tightening force is too strong and presses the wearer's body.

It is a perspective view which shows one Embodiment of the underpants type disposable diaper of this invention. FIG. 2A is a plan view in an expanded state when the state before assembling the diaper shown in FIG. 1 is viewed from the surface sheet side, and FIG. 2B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line bb in FIG. is there.

The present invention will be described below based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of a pants-type disposable diaper according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 (a) shows a state before the diaper shown in FIG. FIG. 2B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line bb in FIG. 2A.

The disposable diaper 1 of this embodiment is a pants-type as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, and is disposed between a liquid-permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid-impermeable leak-proof sheet 3, and both sheets 2 and 3. A substantially vertically long absorbent main body 10 having an absorbent core 4 as a liquid-retaining absorbent, and an outer layer body 11 disposed on the leak-proof sheet 3 side of the absorbent main body 10. .

The diaper 1 has an abdominal side A disposed on the wearer's abdominal side, a back side B disposed on the back side, and a crotch C positioned therebetween, and both side edges A1, A1 of the abdominal side A. A2 and both side edges B1 and B2 of the back side B are joined together to form a waist opening 5 and a pair of leg openings 6. For this joining, for example, heat sealing, high frequency sealing, ultrasonic sealing or the like is used.

The top sheet 2, the leak-proof sheet 3 and the absorbent core 4 are joined together by a predetermined means to form a vertically long absorbent body 10. The top sheet 2 and the leak-proof sheet 3 are each rectangular. The absorbent core 4 is also rectangular. As the surface sheet 2 and the leak-proof sheet 3, those similar to those conventionally used for this type of diaper can be used. The absorbent core 4 is made of superabsorbent polymer particles and a fiber material, and is covered with tissue paper (not shown).

As shown in FIG. 2, side cuffs 8, 8 made of a liquid resistant or liquid impermeable and breathable material are formed on the left and right sides of the absorbent body 10. Each side cuff 8 has a fixed end and a free end along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 10. The fixed end is fixed to the top sheet 2. On the other hand, a side cuff elastic member 81 is arranged in an expanded state in the vicinity of the free end. Thereby, the side cuff 8 stands up and the outflow of the liquid to the width direction of the absorber main body 10 is prevented.

As shown in FIG. 2, the absorbent body 10 is fixed to the central portion of the outer layer body 11 with its longitudinal direction coinciding with the longitudinal direction of the outer layer body 11. The absorber body 10 and the outer layer body 11 are partially joined and fixed. By fixing both in this way, the occurrence of crease of the absorbent core 4 described later can be more effectively prevented.

The outer layer body 11 has at least two sheet materials, that is, an outer layer sheet 12 and an inner layer sheet 13 disposed on the inner surface side of the outer layer sheet 12. The two sheet materials are made of non-woven fabric, for example. The outer layer body 11 forms the outer shape of the diaper 1, and the outer layer sheet 12 constituting the outer layer body 11 forms the outermost surface of the diaper 1. The inner layer sheet 13 is joined to the inner surface side of the outer layer sheet 12 with an adhesive such as a hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive. The outer layer body 11 has an hourglass shape in which both side edges are bound inward in the central portion in the longitudinal direction.

The outer layer body 11 extends outward from the front and rear end edges of the absorbent body 10, and the extended portion is folded back to the absorbent body 10 side. The front and rear end edges of the folded outer layer material 11 are positioned on the absorbent core 4 in the absorbent body 10 as shown in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of waist elastic members 51 a and 51 b are arranged along the width direction at the front and rear end portions of the outer layer body 11 along the front and rear end edges. Each waist part elastic member 51a, 51b is clamped and fixed by the outer layer sheet 12 and the inner layer sheet 13 in an expanded state. Each waist part elastic member 51a, 51b is formed when both side edges A1, A2 of the belly side part A of the diaper 1 and both side edges B1, B2 of the back side part B are joined to each other. The ends are arranged so that they almost overlap each other. As a result, as shown in FIG. 1, the waist elastic members 51 a and 51 b are arranged in the circumferential direction of the waist opening 5 of the diaper 1, and substantially in the vicinity of the waist opening 5. A continuous ring-shaped waist gather is formed.

As shown in FIG. 2, leg elastic members 61 a and 61 b are arranged on the left and right curved portions of the outer layer body 11. Each leg part elastic member 61a, 61b is comprised from center part 61a ', 61b' and each side edge part 61a "and 61b" following this. The central portions 61a ′ and 61b ′ are arranged so as to cross the crotch portion C of the diaper 1, and the side edge portions 61a ″ and 61b ″ are arranged along the curved portion. The leg elastic members 61a and 61b are arranged between the outer layer sheet 12 and the inner layer sheet 13, and the side edge portions 61a "and 61b" of the elastic members 61a and 61b are both joined by a predetermined joining means. It is fixed to the sheets 12 and 13 in an extended state. When each leg part elastic member 61a, 61b joins both the side edges A1, A2 of the belly side part A of the diaper 1 and both side edges B1, B2 of the back side part B, the both elastic members 61a, 61b It arrange | positions so that edge parts may overlap. As a result, as shown in FIG. 1, a substantially continuous ring-shaped leg gather is formed in the vicinity of the leg openings 6, 6 of the diaper 1.

As the waist elastic member 51, the leg elastic member 61, and the side cuff elastic member 81, those obtained by forming natural rubber, polyurethane-based resin, foamed urethane-based resin, or the like in a band shape or a thread shape are preferably used. The waist elastic member has a strength at 30% elongation of 10 to 100 gf, particularly preferably 15 to 80 gf, and is sandwiched and fixed between the outer layer sheet 12 and the inner layer sheet 13 in a state of 60 to 160% elongation. It is preferable. The stretch rate is the ratio of the length of the stretched portion to the natural length. For example, when a stretch of 10 cm in length is expanded to 20 cm, the stretch rate is 100%.

As shown in FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, a plurality of waistline elastic members are provided in the waist circumference portion D located between the front and rear end portions and the left and right curved portions of the outer layer body 11 toward the width direction of the outer layer body 11. 71a and 71b are arranged respectively. Each of the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b is thread-like, and is disposed on the outer side D1 of the absorbent core 4 at the ventral side A and the backside B of the diaper 1 and exhibits elastic elasticity. In this manner, the outer layer sheet 12 and the inner layer sheet 13 are clamped and fixed in an expanded state. Each waistline elastic member 71a, 71b is fixed intermittently using a known joining means such as an adhesive or heat seal. Each waistline elastic member 71a, 71b is the end of both elastic members 71a, 71b when the side edges A1, A2 of the belly side A of the diaper 1 and the side edges B1, B2 of the back side B are joined together. The parts are arranged so that they almost overlap each other. Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 1, the waistline elastic members 71 a and 71 b are arranged in the circumferential direction of the waist circumference of the diaper 1. And in the site | part D1 outside the both-sides edge of the absorptive core 4 in the diaper 1, waist circumference gathers are formed in the area | region where the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are distribute | arranged.

Further, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are not arranged in a state in which expansion and contraction elasticity is developed at least at the central portion of the portion where the absorbent core 4 is present. That is, when the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are not disposed, or when the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are disposed, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are disposed in a state in which expansion and contraction elasticity is not exhibited. ing. In the present embodiment, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are arranged in such a state that the inner end, which is one of both ends thereof, slightly overlaps the side edge of the absorbent core 4. The waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are not arranged in the region from the center in the width direction of 4 to the vicinity of the left and right side edges. The waistline elastic members 71a and 71b located at the side edges of the absorbent core 4 are in an unstretched state and do not exhibit stretch elasticity. Thereby, a gather is not formed in the area | region where the absorptive core 4 in the diaper 1 was distribute | arranged.

On the absorbent core 4, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are not disposed at all over the entire width direction, or even if they are disposed, it is disposed so as not to exhibit stretch elasticity. It is most preferable from the viewpoint of preventing the occurrence of crease in the absorbent core 4 described below. However, from the viewpoint of preventing creaking of the absorbent core 4, it is sufficient that there is at least a non-stretchable portion on the absorbent core 4. Thus, waistline elastic members 71a and 71b that exhibit expansion and contraction elasticity may be provided.

By arranging the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b in this manner, the absorbent core 4 is prevented from being creased, and the liquid absorption region of the absorbent core 4 is effectively used. Moreover, it becomes difficult to make a clearance gap between a wearer's body and the diaper 1 resulting from this, and a leak can be prevented effectively. In order to prevent the absorbent core from squeezing, it is possible to make the inner dimension of the diaper coincide with the waist size of the wearer and to stretch the waist elastic member almost twice as long, but in that case the waist dimension is too small. This makes it difficult to wear diapers. Moreover, since it is comprised so that the stress of the elastic member around a waist may express the maximum value when it is made to wear by making the inside dimension of a diaper into the maximum, it is hardly realistic.

As a result, even if the width of the absorbent core 4 is made narrower or thinner than that of the conventional diaper, the shrinkage due to excessive pleat formation is eliminated, and the absorption performance equivalent to that of the conventional diaper is exhibited. Material costs can be reduced. Specifically, the ratio of the width W2 (see FIG. 2) of the absorbent core 4 corresponding to the portion where the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are arranged to the product width W1 (see FIG. 2) of the diaper 1 is 30 to 30. It can be 60%, preferably 40-50%, more preferably 43-48%. If this ratio is less than 30%, sufficient absorption performance is not exhibited, and on the other hand, if it exceeds 60%, it is disadvantageous from the viewpoint of material cost reduction. These widths W1 and W2 are measured with the diaper 1 in an expanded state. In this embodiment, since the absorbent core 4 is rectangular, the width thereof is the same in the longitudinal direction, but when the width of the absorbent core 4 is not the same in the longitudinal direction, for example, absorption When the sex core 4 has an hourglass shape, the width W2 is measured at a position corresponding to the portion where the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are arranged as described above.

Moreover, in the diaper 1 of this invention, as a result of preventing generation | occurrence | production of a fold, there also exists an advantage that the external appearance impression of the diaper 1 at the time of wear becomes favorable.

Preventing the occurrence of crease in the absorbent core 4 is particularly effective when the absorbent core 4 is thin and light and highly flexible. Specifically, when the thickness of the absorbent core 4 is about 0.5 to 10 mm, particularly about 0.5 to 5 mm, the pulp fiber content in the absorbent core 4 is 0 to 55 wt%, particularly 0 to 30 wt%. %, Or when the Taber stiffness value, which is a measure of the flexibility of the absorbent core 4, is 0.5 to 20 gf · cm, particularly 0.5 to 10 gf · cm, The fit is particularly high, but conversely, the absorbent core 4 tends to fold. However, by arranging the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b in the above-described manner, the occurrence of crease can be effectively prevented even when the thin and light absorbent core 4 that is easily deformed is used. In addition, when content of the pulp fiber in the absorptive core 4 is 0-55 weight%, it is preferable that content of a superabsorbent polymer is 40-100 weight%, especially 50-100 weight%. Moreover, you may contain fiber materials (for example, heat-fusible fiber) other than a pulp fiber.

The Taber stiffness described above is measured according to the method described in the stiffness test method (JIS P 8125) using a paperboard Taber stiffness tester. Specifically, the absorbent core 4 is cut into 3.8 cm × 7.0 cm together with the tissue paper that wraps the absorbent core 4 and measured using a Taber stiffness tester.

It is also possible to use an absorbent core in which no pulp fibers are used. For example, an absorbent core in which a superabsorbent polymer is dispersed in a nonwoven web can be used. The content of the nonwoven web at this time is 50 to 80% by weight, particularly preferably 60 to 75% by weight, and the content of the superabsorbent polymer is 20 to 60% by weight, particularly 30 to 50%. Preferably there is.

From the viewpoint of causing the diaper 1 to be worn around the waist of the wearer with an appropriate tightening force, the waistline elastic member 71a that exhibits expansion and contraction elasticity in the portion D1 outside the both side edges of the absorbent core 4 with respect to the product width W1 of the diaper 1. , 71b is 40 to 95%, preferably 50 to 80%, and more preferably 55 to 75%. If this ratio is less than 40%, the arrangement width is narrow, so that the elastic members 71a and 71b must be arranged at a high elongation rate in order to exhibit sufficient fit, and as a result, they are worn The person's body will be partially compressed. This is the same problem as when a stretchable side panel is used in a pants-type disposable diaper. On the other hand, if the ratio exceeds 95%, the absorbent core 4 is creased and the absorption performance is impaired. When the arrangement width of the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b is different between the back side part A and the belly side part B of the diaper 1, the arrangement of the waistline elastic members on at least one of the back side part A and the belly side part B is arranged. The ratio of the installation width and the product width of the diaper 1 may be within the above range, and it is particularly preferable that the ratio is within the above range in both the back side portion A and the ventral side portion B.

Similarly, from the viewpoint of causing the diaper 1 to be worn around the waist of the wearer with an appropriate tightening force, the stress σ W when the waist opening 5 is stretched by 30% is the stress of the waist circumference D where the waistline elastic member is disposed. It is preferably larger than the stress σ D at 30% elongation. Specifically, σ W is preferably up to 10 times σ D , particularly 1.5 to 6 times, from the viewpoint of generating a more appropriate tightening force.

The value of the stress σ W when the waist opening 5 is stretched 30% is 30 to 250 gf / cm, particularly 50 to 150 gf / cm, which is easy to wear, difficult to slip off during wearing, It is preferable from the point of the pressure reduction to. On the other hand, the value of the stress σ D at the time of 30% extension of the trunk periphery D where the waistline elastic member is disposed is 5 to 100 gf / cm, particularly 10 to 40 gf / cm, which is appropriate for the wearer's waist From the viewpoint of generating a strong tightening force.

The diaper 1 of this embodiment is preferably manufactured by the method described below. First, the absorber body 10 is manufactured according to a conventional method. On the other hand, in order to manufacture the outer layer body 11, first, a hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is applied over the entire surface of the outer layer sheet 12. Next, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are disposed and fixed in the stretched state around the waistline D over the width direction of the outer layer sheet 12. Further, the waist elastic members 51a and 51b and the leg elastic members 61a and 61b are respectively disposed and fixed in the stretched state at target positions. Thereafter, the inner layer sheet 13 is overlapped on the outer layer sheet 12 and joined together, and then the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are cut at the center in the width direction to obtain the outer layer body 11. The absorbent body 10 and the outer layer body 11 thus obtained are fixed by partial bonding, and the left and right side edges of the abdominal side A and the back side B of the outer layer body 11 are bonded and fixed, respectively. And

For cutting the waist elastic member, known cutting means such as a combination of cutting teeth and receiving teeth such as rotary die cutter, shear cutter, pinch cutter, etc., heat seal cut, ultrasonic seal cut, pressure cut, water jet cutter, etc. Can be used.

The present invention is not limited to the embodiment. For example, in the above-described embodiment, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are arranged so as to exhibit stretch elasticity in substantially the entire region of the outer portion D1 from both side edges of the absorbent core 4. Thus, the elastic elasticity may be developed only in part.

Further, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b may be disposed only on the belly side A of the diaper 1 or only on the back side B. When the waistline elastic member is disposed on the ventral side A, the appearance of the diaper when viewed from the front is clean. When arranged on the back side B, there are advantages that the appearance of the diaper is clean when viewed from behind, the diaper disposal tape is easy to adhere, and the printing is easy to see.

In the above-described embodiment, the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b are disposed at positions that cross the absorbent core 4. However, by reducing the length of the absorbent core 4, the front end of the absorbent core 4 or A waistline elastic member can be disposed over the entire width direction of the diaper 1 at a position between the rear end and the waist opening. As described above, when there is a plurality of waistline elastic members located between the front end or the rear end of the absorbent core and the waist opening, the entire waistline elastic member may be arranged to be stretchable. Alternatively, when an extension line is drawn from both side edges of the absorbent core 4 toward the waist opening, the part located between the two extension lines is non-stretchable and the part located on the outer side is stretchable You may arrange | position so that it may become possible.

Moreover, in the above-mentioned embodiment, in order to obtain the desired effect of the present invention, as a most preferable form, the portions of the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b that overlap with the absorbent core 4 are all non-stretchable. As described above, at least a part of the waistline elastic members 71a and 71b located on the absorbent core 4 may be non-stretchable, and there may be a portion that exhibits stretchability. As for the non-stretchable range, for infant pant diapers, it is about 1/2 or more of the width W2 of the absorbent core 4, or about 1/20 or more of the product width W1 of the diaper 1 3 / A range of 4 or less is preferable. For an adult pant-type diaper, it is either about 1/3 or more of the width W2 of the absorbent core 4 or about 1/20 or more and 3/4 or less of the product width W1 of the diaper 1. It is preferable.

[Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2]
The pants-type disposable diaper shown in FIG.1 and FIG.2 was manufactured. Table 1 below shows the product width W1 of the diaper, the width W2 of the absorbent core, and the arrangement width W3 + W4 of the waistline elastic member in the manufactured diaper. Table 1 shows the stress σ W when the waist opening is stretched 30% and the stress σ D when the waist circumference portion where the waistline elastic member is disposed is 30%. Furthermore, Table 1 shows the Taber stiffness of the absorbent core. Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 relate to baby diapers, and Example 4 relates to adult diapers.

The measurement method of the stress σ W at the time of 30% extension of the waist opening in the diaper obtained in the example and the comparative example and the stress σ D at the time of 30% extension of the trunk periphery where the waistline elastic member is disposed are It is as follows.

The waist opening is cut out over a width of 25 mm over the width direction of the diaper, and a ring-shaped measurement piece is collected. Similarly, in the width direction of the diaper, the trunk periphery is cut out to a width of 70 mm, and a ring-shaped measurement piece is collected. The test piece is loaded on the chuck of a tensile tester, pulled at a speed of 300 mm / min, and the stress at 30% elongation is measured. The stress per cm is calculated by dividing the measured stress by the width (cm) of the measurement piece, and the stress σ W at the time of 30% elongation of the waist opening and the waistline elastic member are arranged respectively. The value of the stress σ D at the time of 30% extension of the surrounding circumference of the body. The distance between chucks is appropriately changed according to the width of the diaper. In the case where the elastic member is disposed only on either the front body or the back of the diaper, the measurement piece is collected only from the side on which the elastic member is disposed in the measurement of the stress.

About the diaper obtained by the Example and the comparative example, the following method evaluated fit property, ease of putting, and the difficulty of slipping off. These results are shown in Table 1.

[Ease of flaking]
The ease with which diapers can be removed was evaluated according to the following criteria from the viewpoint of ease of spreading and lifting of diapers. The procedure was the same as the above [Fit].

As is apparent from the results shown in Table 1, it can be seen that the diapers of the respective examples (products of the present invention) are excellent in fit and easy to break as compared with the diapers of the comparative examples. Further, it is difficult to slip off, and it can be seen that the appearance in the mounted state is good. In Comparative Example 1, since the arrangement width (W3 + W4) of the waistline elastic member is narrow, it is difficult to pull up the diaper, and there is pressure from the side part of the diaper. Moreover, there is a diaper slip-off and a gap is formed between the wearer's body and as a result, leakage is likely to occur. In Comparative Example 2, the width (W2) of the absorbent core is too wide to pull up the diaper, and the diaper is stiff. Moreover, there is a diaper slip-off and a gap is formed between the wearer's body and as a result, leakage is likely to occur.
