Claims (4)
- 先端部に縮径部を有する芯線と、該芯線の縮径部先端に先端を固定され、該芯線の縮径部基端側に基端を固定されて、前記芯線の先端部外周に装着されたコイルと、前記芯線及び前記コイルの外周に被覆された樹脂層とを備えたガイドワイヤにおいて、
前記コイルは、両端部に線材間に隙間を有する粗巻き部分を有し、中間部に線材間に隙間のない密着巻き部分を有し、
前記コイルの両端部を除いて、前記粗巻き部分及び前記密着巻き部分が、前記芯線に固着されていないことを特徴とするガイドワイヤ。 - 前記コイルの中間部の密着巻き部分は、初張力を有している請求項1記載のガイドワイヤ。
- 両端部に線材間に隙間を有する粗巻き部分を有し、中間部に線材間に隙間のない密着巻き部分を有するコイルの先端を、先端部に縮径部を有する芯線の縮径部先端に固定し、前記コイルの基端を前記芯線の縮径部の基端側に固定すると共に、前記コイルの両端部を除いて、前記粗巻き部分及び前記密着巻き部分が、前記芯線に固着されていない状態とし、こうして得られたコイル付き芯線を、その基端側から押し出し成形ダイに挿入して引き抜き成形することにより、前記芯線及び前記コイルの外周に樹脂層を被覆することを特徴とするガイドワイヤの製造方法。
- 前記コイル先端部の粗巻き部分における線材間の隙間が、前記コイル基端部の粗巻き部分における線材間の隙間よりも大きくなるように形成されている請求項3記載のガイドワイヤの製造方法。
