Description

The present invention relates to a pest control agent for screen doors.

The screen doors used in houses, etc. are attracted by indoor light, and various pests fly in. When doors and windows are open, they often enter the room through the screen doors. It was. As a countermeasure, for example, Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 2 disclose a method for preventing insects from entering by treating insects and insecticides on the screen door.
Patent Document 1 describes a method in which a powdery mosquito coil is dissolved in a liquid adhesive and applied to a screen door screen, but this is an abstract proposal. On the other hand, Patent Document 2 is intended to provide a composition in which a drug adheres efficiently to a screen door at the time of application and the ratio of passing through the screen screen is reduced, but the control effect is not always sufficient. In addition, the composition applied to the screen door causes the adhesion of dirt such as dust, and conversely, there is a problem in that it gives unpleasant feeling and the control effect is reduced.
Under these circumstances, the present inventors concluded that, in developing a pest control agent for screen doors, the present invention has a high pest control effect and also has an excellent antifouling action. It has come to be.
JP 61-36487 A JP-A-11-31502

An object of the present invention is to provide a pest control agent for a screen door which is a composition applied to the screen door and exhibits a high pest control effect and also has an excellent antifouling action.

The pest control agent for screen doors of the present invention is extremely practical because it exhibits a high pest control effect and also has an excellent antifouling action.

(A) Pest control ingredients include phthalthrin, phenothrin, permethrin, ciphenothrin, cypermethrin, tralomethrin, resmethrin, allethrin, praretrin, framethrin, imiprotorin, empentrin, transfluthrin, methfluthrin, profluthrin, etofenprox, etc. Insecticidal components, organosilicon insecticides such as silafluophene, organophosphorus insecticides such as dichlorvos and fenitrothion, carbamate insecticides such as propoxur, and neonicotinoid insecticides such as imidacloprid, dinotefuran and clothianidin. Of these, it is preferable to select one or more selected from pyrethroids and organosilicon insecticides from the viewpoint of rapid efficacy and safety.
In addition, among the above insecticidal components, there are optical isomers and geometric isomers based on the asymmetric carbon and double bond, and the use of each of these or any mixture thereof is of course included in the present invention. It is.

These pest control ingredients remain in the screen door after application and have an insecticidal effect when they come in contact with flying insects, but if they contain highly volatile components, they will gradually evaporate from the application surface to form an insecticidal barrier in the environment. However, it is also possible to expect preventive control of pests.
The content of the insecticidal component blended in the insect pest control agent for screen doors may be appropriately determined in consideration of the purpose of use, the period of use, etc., but about 0.01 to 3.0 w / v% in the insect pest control agent is Is appropriate. If it is less than 0.01 w / v%, the desired effect cannot be obtained. On the other hand, if it exceeds 3.0 w / v%, it is difficult in terms of stability of the preparation.

Emulsions used in the form of sprays, aqueous solvents, microemulsions, etc. are common as the dosage form of the pest control agent, but of course, a propellant may be blended and applied to the aerosol form. In the case of an aerosol form, the content of each component is indicated by the concentration in the aerosol stock solution.

(B) Examples of the antistatic component include a cationic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, a silicon surfactant, and the like. Among them, polyoxyethylene (POE) alkyl ether phosphate is preferably suitable for the purpose of the present invention. The number of moles of POE is about 5-30, and the alkyl group has about 10-20 carbon atoms. Examples of the phosphate include sodium salt and potassium salt.
The combination of antistatic ingredients reduces dirt and other dirt from adhering to the screen door, and is effective in preventing deterioration of the control effect. It is also useful for labor saving.
The blending amount of the antistatic component is sufficient to be about 0.05 to 2.0 w / v%, and if it exceeds 2.0 w / v%, the stability of the preparation may be affected.

Examples thereof include polyoxyethylene (POE) styryl phenyl ether sulfate, polyoxyethylene (POE) alkyl ether sulfate, dodecylbenzene sulfate, and the like. The number of moles of the POE is suitably about 5 to 30, and the carbon number of the alkyl group is suitably about 10 to 20, and sodium salts and potassium salts are common as sulfates.
The blending amount of (c) solubilizer depends on the physicochemical properties of the (a) pest control component, but about 2.0 to 15 w / v% is appropriate.

In the present invention, an anionic surfactant is preferably used as an antistatic component, and an anionic solubilizer is preferably selected from the compatibility with the anionic surfactant. As disclosed in Patent Document 2 (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 11-31502), in general, a nonionic solubilizer is easier to formulate, but a nonionic solubilizer is mainly used. It was confirmed that the compatibility with the anionic antistatic component was inferior, a satisfactory antifouling effect was not obtained, and it was not effective in preventing the pest control effect from being lowered.

The pest control agent for screen doors of the present invention includes (d) water and, if necessary, organic solvents such as lower alcohols such as ethanol and isopropanol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butylene glycol, 1,4- C3-C6 glycols such as butylene glycol, diethylene glycol, dipropylene glycol, hexylene glycol, etc., these glycol ethers, ketone solvents, ester solvents, hydrocarbon solvents such as kerosene, and the like can be blended.

Moreover, as long as the effect of the present invention is not hindered, a slight amount of nonionic surfactant may be added.
Examples of the nonionic surfactant include ethers such as polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene alkyl phenyl ethers, polyoxyethylene polyoxypropylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene alkylamino ethers, polyethylene glycol Examples thereof include fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid esters, fatty acid esters such as polyoxyethylene glycerin fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene styrenated phenol, and fatty acid polyalkalolamide.

In this invention, in order to obtain a desired effect | action and effect, it is preferable to mix | blend pH adjusters, such as a triethanolamine, and to adjust pH in a liquid agent to 5-7. If the pH is out of this range, there is a concern that affects the stability of the pest control component.

In addition, antifungal agents, antibacterial agents and fungicides for acaricides, molds, fungi, etc., or stabilizers, deodorants, antifoaming agents, fragrances, excipients, etc. may be appropriately blended. Good. Examples of acaricides include methyl 5-chloro-2-trifluoromethanesulfonamide benzoate, phenyl salicylate, 3-iodo-2-propynyl butyl carbamate, and the like. Examples include 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, 2- (4-thiazolyl) benzimidazole, 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, trifolin, 3-methyl-4-isopropylphenol, ortho-phenylphenol, etc. it can.

When the insecticide for screen doors of the present invention is applied to an aerosol form, a propellant is blended. Examples of the propellant include dimethyl ether, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and compressed gas (nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide gas, nitrous oxide, compressed air, etc.).

What is necessary is just to select shapes, such as a valve | bulb, a nozzle hole, and a nozzle, suitably for the container filled with the insect pest control agent for screen doors according to the use, the intended purpose, a target pest, etc.
For example, if a trigger spray type with a wide-angle nozzle is used, a wide range of screen doors can be processed with a single operation, which is convenient.

The screen insect pest control agent of the present invention thus obtained may be processed in a predetermined amount to a desired screen door, and is appropriately about 5 to 50 mL / m 2 as a guide. According to the present invention, dirt such as dust is less likely to adhere to the screen door due to the action of the antistatic component, and a decrease in pest control effect due to dirt is prevented, resulting in improved residual effect and pest control effect. Lasts for months. Furthermore, the discomfort due to dirt is reduced, and it is very practical because it helps save labor for cleaning the screen door.

Examples of the pests that are the subject of the present invention include all insects that fly and gather at the screen door, causing damage and discomfort to humans. For example, mosquito, Aedes aegypti, chironomid, housefly, butterfly, Drosophila, etc. Examples include lepidoptera such as moths, semi-lepidoptera such as planthoppers and aphids, but are not limited to these pests.

Next, based on specific examples, the screen insect pest control agent of the present invention will be described in more detail.

Figure 0005283368

As a result of the test, the pest control agent for screen doors of the present invention containing an antistatic component together with the pest control component imparted an excellent pest control effect to the screen door for a long period of time. It was determined that the addition of an antistatic component made it difficult for dirt and other dirt to adhere to the screen door, and as a result, contributed to the prevention of a decrease in residual effect. As the antistatic component, an anionic surfactant is preferable, and as the solubilizer, an anionic solubilizer is preferable, and the combination of both is optimal as in the present invention 1 and the present invention 2.
On the other hand, as in Comparative Example 1 and Comparative Example 2, in the case where no antistatic component is blended, the discomfort due to the adhesion of dirt and the reduction of the pest control effect cannot be denied, and it may not be effective as a pest control agent for screen doors. Admitted.

The pest control agent for screen doors of the present invention can be used not only for screen doors but also for a wide range of pest control purposes.
