Description

The present invention relates to a drip-proof structure for an electronic component having a rotary knob.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 2 of Patent Document 1, for example, a part of the outer peripheral portion of a rotary knob (rotary body) (110) of the rotary electronic component (1) is partly provided in an outer case (see FIG. 2). The slider (160) attached to the rotary knob (110) is exposed to the outside through the opening (161) provided on the rotary knob (110), and the portion exposed from the opening (161) of the rotary knob (110) is operated with a finger or the like. 130) is driven to change the electrical output of the sliding contact pattern on the flexible circuit board (50) with which the slider (130) is in sliding contact.

In the rotary electronic component (1), the liquid that enters from the gap between the opening (161) of the outer case (160) and the rotary knob (110) does not adhere to the slider (130) and the sliding contact pattern. As described above, the liquid intrusion prevention mechanism including the concave portion (73) and the convex portion (121) is provided around the slider (130) and the sliding contact pattern.

However, the above conventional liquid intrusion prevention mechanism drip-proofs only the portion around the slider (130) and the sliding contact pattern, and between the opening (161) of the outer case (160) and the rotary knob (110). The gap is not drip-proof. Accordingly, the liquid easily enters the exterior case (160) through the opening (161).

For this reason, liquid easily infiltrates into the portion of the exterior case (160) that does not have the drip-proof structure, causing not only corrosion and dirt, but also falling on the exterior case (160) from the outside. When the amount of liquid is large, a large amount of liquid enters from the opening (161), and the liquid enters the electrical function part such as the slider (130) over the liquid intrusion prevention mechanism. There was also a risk of losing.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and an object of the present invention is to provide an electronic component having a rotary knob with a more reliable drip-proof structure including a part that functions electrically and other parts, and a simple structure. It is to provide a drip-proof structure.

The invention according to claim 1 is an electronic component in which a part of a rotary knob for operating the electronic component in the main body case is protruded from an opening provided in the main body case. A rubber-like drip-proof plate that covers the protruding portion and has an opening for inserting the rotary knob; and an outer case that is attached to cover the rubber-like drip-proof plate and has an exposure port that exposes the rotary knob. An inclined surface that is inclined so as to protrude in the protruding direction of the rotary knob on the upper or lower portion of the opening of the main body case, and a rotary knob is provided around the opening of the rubber drip-proof plate When the gap between the opening of the main body case and the rotary knob is drip-proof by making contact with the portion protruding from the main body case, the inclined surface of the main body case is placed around the opening of the rubber-like drip-proof plate. portion In drip-proof structure of an electronic component, characterized in that to the inner peripheral anterior end or its vicinity of the opening is inclined by abutting contact with the abutting portion provided on a side surface of the rotary knob.

The invention according to claim 2 of the present invention is the drip-proof structure for an electronic component according to claim 1, wherein a portion around the opening of the rubber drip-proof plate is provided around the opening of the main body case. According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the rubber-like elasticity is provided, the opening portion of the rubber-like drip-proof plate that is easily moved by being dragged by the rotation of the rotary knob is always at a desired position. Can be retained. As a result, more reliable drip-proofing can be achieved.

According to the third aspect of the present invention, when the rotary knob is rotated, the inner peripheral front end side of the opening of the rubber drip-proof plate is dragged to the outer peripheral operation surface of the rotary knob and drawn into the main body case. This can be prevented, and the outer peripheral operation surface and the back surface of the rubber-like drip-proof plate can be brought into contact with each other, so that airtightness can be maintained and reliable drip-proof can be achieved.

Further , according to the first aspect of the present invention, the inner peripheral tip side of the opening of the rubber drip-proof plate or its vicinity can be reliably brought into contact with the contact portion provided on the side surface of the rotary knob. Further, portions near the left and right sides of the opening 71 are used as knob operation surface waterproof portions 79 and 79.

The outer case 100 is formed by molding a synthetic resin into a substantially box-shaped rectangular shape with one (rear) opened (opening 101). A protrusion 101 that protrudes in a substantially rectangular shape is provided on the front surface of the outer case 100. The inner recess formed by the protrusion 101 has a dimension that allows the outer periphery of the protrusion 67 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 to fit snugly. In addition, the opening 101 at the rear side of the protruding portion 101 of the outer case 100 has a size that allows the fitting portion 65 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 and the outer periphery of the main body case 10 to fit closely. A substantially rectangular (rectangular) exposure port 105 is formed at the center of the tip surface 103 of the protrusion 101. The upper and lower portions of the exposure port 105 protrude in a substantially arc shape so that the center portion protrudes forward. On the side surfaces of the outer case 100 where the exposure port 105 is provided on both the left and right sides, a pair of locking holes (front side in the figure) are formed of small holes that snap- engage with the locking claws 26 of the main body case 10. 107 is shown).

Then, in assembling the rotary electronic component 1, the portion of the main body case 10 that protrudes from the rotary knob 30 is covered with a rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 to obtain the state shown in FIG. At this time, the mounting portion 65 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 is put on the outer peripheral portion of the end portion of the main body case 10. The rotary knob 30 is inserted into the opening 71. In addition, each drip-proof plate positioning portion 21 of the main body case 10 is inserted into each of the four corners of the recess on the back side formed by the protruding portion 67 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60, and the position of the protruding portion 67 is positioned. At the same time, the tip side 15 for holding the drip-proof plate at each end of the four drip-proof plate support portions 13 is in contact with the portion on the back surface around the opening 71 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 and is supported by pushing it up a little. Thus, the opening 71 is held at a predetermined position. 6 is a schematic view showing the positional relationship among the rotary knob 30, the drip-proof plate support 13 and the rubber drip-proof plate 60 in the BB cross section of FIG. As shown in the figure, the portions of the knob operation surface waterproof portions 79 on the left and right sides of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 are substantially on the drip-proof plate holding side edges 17 of the drip-proof plate support portion 13 located above and below. By closely contacting, the shape of the drip-proof plate holding side 17 is deformed to be substantially the same shape, and the portion D of the knob operation surface waterproof portion 79 that faces the most concave portion of the concave portion 19 is the outer periphery of the rotary knob 30. The inner peripheral front end sides 71 a and 71 a of the knob operation surface waterproof portions 79 and 79 are slightly apart from the outer peripheral operation surface 31. In other words, a portion of the portion around the opening 71 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 that is brought into contact with the outer peripheral operation surface 31 of the rotary knob 30 is separated from the inner peripheral tip side 71 a of the opening 71. This is a portion facing the outer peripheral operation surface 31 on the back surface of the drip plate 60.

Then, the outer case 100 is put on the front portion of the rubber drip-proof plate 60 attached to the main body case 10, and the locking claw 26 of the main body case 10 is locked to the locking hole 107 of the outer case 100 by snap-in engagement. The rotary electronic component 1 shown in FIG. 1 is completed. At this time, the mounting portion 65 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 is sandwiched between the main body case 10 and the outer case 100, and a part of the rotary knob 30 is exposed from the exposure port 105 of the outer case 100. The above assembling procedure is an example, and it goes without saying that the assembly may be performed using other various assembling procedures.

Then, if the rotary knob 30 is rotated by operating the outer peripheral operation surface 31 of the rotary knob 30 exposed from the exposure port 105 of the outer case 100, a slider (not shown) attached to the rotary knob 30 is placed in the main body case 10. It slides on a sliding contact pattern of a circuit board (not shown), and its electrical output changes. Further, if light emitted from a light emitting element (not shown) installed in the main body case 10 is guided to the light guide portion 23 and enters the rotary knob 30 from the light emitting portion 27, various extracted characters on the surface of the rotary knob 30, etc. Is illuminated brightly.

In the rotary electronic component 1, the periphery of the opening 71 of the rubber drip-proof plate 60 that covers the portion of the main body case 10 that protrudes from the rotation knob 30 and has the opening 71 into which the rotation knob 30 is inserted. Since the gap between the opening 11 of the main body case 10 and the rotary knob 30 is drip-proof by bringing the portion into contact with the portion protruding from the main body case 10 of the rotary knob 30, liquid intrudes into the main body case 10. This can prevent drip-proofing of the electrically functioning part and all other parts in the main body case 10. Further, since the portion around the opening 71 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 is brought into contact with the portion protruding from the main body case 10 of the rotary knob 30 with rubber-like elasticity, drip-proof is achieved, so that the sealing performance is improved. High and reliable drip-proof. Moreover, since only the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 is added, the structure is not complicated and the structure can be simplified.

Further, in the rotary electronic component 1 according to this embodiment, around the opening 11 of the main body case 10, a plurality of parts (four places) around the opening 71 of the rubber drip-proof plate 60 are provided from the back side. Since the drip-proof plate support 13 that supports the opening 71 and holds the opening 71 in a predetermined position is provided, the rubber-shaped anti-vibration is easy to move because of its rubber-like elasticity and is dragged by the rotation of the rotary knob 30 or the like. The opening 71 of the drip plate 60 can always be reliably held at a desired position, and more reliable drip-proofing can be achieved.

In the rotary electronic component 1 according to this embodiment, as described above with reference to FIG. 6, the outer peripheral operation surface 31 of the rotary knob 30 in the peripheral portion of the opening 71 of the rubber drip-proof plate 60 is provided. Since the portion to be contacted is the portion facing the outer peripheral operation surface 31 on the back surface of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 farther from the inner peripheral tip side 71a of the opening 71, when the rotary knob 30 is rotated, the rubber-like prevention It is possible to prevent the inner peripheral front end side 71a of the opening 71 of the drip plate 60 from being dragged to the outer peripheral operation surface 79a of the rotary knob 30 and being drawn into the main body case 10, and the outer peripheral operation surface 31 and the rubber drip-proof plate. It is possible to contact the back surface of 60 and maintain hermeticity, and reliable drip-proofing can be achieved.

Furthermore, in the rotary electronic component 1 according to this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 4, the inclined surface is inclined so as to protrude toward the protruding direction of the rotary knob 30 at the upper and lower portions of the opening 11 of the main body case 10. 25 and 28, and inclined surfaces abutting portions 73 and 75 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 are brought into contact with the inclined surfaces 25 and 28, respectively, so that the openings 71 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 are inclined. The inner peripheral front end sides 71a, 71a or the vicinity thereof are guided so as to abut on the abutting portions 39, 45 provided on both side surfaces 33, 41 of the rotary knob 30. By configuring in this way, the inner peripheral front end sides 71a, 71a of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 or the vicinity thereof are surely brought into contact with both contact portions 39, 45 of the rotary knob 30, and the sealing performance is improved. The drip-proof effect of the part can be further ensured.

FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of an electronic component (hereinafter referred to as “rotary electronic component”) 1-2 configured using the second embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 8 is a rubber drip-proof plate on the main body case 10-2. It is a perspective view of the state which attached 60-2. In both figures, the same or corresponding parts as those of the rotary electronic component 1 shown in FIGS. 1 to 6 are denoted by the same reference numerals (note that “−2” is assigned to each reference numeral). Items other than those described below are the same as those in the first embodiment shown in FIGS.

The difference between the rotary electronic component 1-2 and the rotary electronic component 1 is that the structure around the opening 11-2 of the main body case 10-2 and the structure of the rubber drip-proof plate 60-2. It is. That is, the main body case 10-2 of this embodiment is different from the main body case 10 in that the four drip-proof plate positioning portions 21 provided in the main body case 10 are omitted.

Further, the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 of this embodiment is a substantially box-like shape in which one (rear) is released (opening 61-2) from a thin plate having rubber-like elasticity, like the rubber-type drip-proof plate 60. It is formed by forming it into a rectangular shape. The difference between the rubber drip-proof plate 60-2 and the rubber drip-proof plate 60 is that the protrusion 67 provided in the rubber drip-proof plate 60 is eliminated and an opening 71-2 is formed at the center of the surface. This is the point. The shape of the opening 71-2 is a horizontally long substantially rectangular shape, and its upper and lower sides protrude in a substantially arc shape so that the central portion protrudes into the opening 71-2, and the vicinity of the protruding portion is inclined. The surface contact portions 73-2 and 75-2 are used. The difference from the inclined surface abutting portions 73 and 75 is that the projecting dimension is large. Further, it is the same as the rubber drip-proof plate 60 in that the portions near the left and right sides of the opening 71-2 are used as the knob operation surface waterproof portions 79-2 and 79-2.

Then, in assembling the rotary electronic component 1-2, the portion protruding the rotary knob 30-2 of the main body case 10-2 is covered with the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 to obtain the state shown in FIG. At this time, the mounting portion 65-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 is put on the outer peripheral portion of the end portion of the main body case 10-2. In addition, the rotary knob 30-2 is inserted into the opening 71-2, and at the same time, the four drip-proof plate support portions 13 are provided on the back side of the periphery of the opening 71-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2. -2 is deformed so that the tip side 15-2 for holding the drip-proof plate at each tip abuts and the portion around the opening 71-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 is pushed forward greatly to protrude. Thus, the opening 71-2 is held at a predetermined position.

And the outer case 100-2 is put on the front part of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2, and the locking claw 26-2 of the main body case 10-2 is snapped into the locking hole 107-2 of the outer case 100-2. If locked by engagement, the rotary electronic component 1-2 having the same shape as that shown in FIG. 1 is completed. At this time, a portion of the mounting portion 65-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 is sandwiched between the main body case 10-2 and the outer case 100-2, and a part of the rotary knob 30-2 is part of the outer case 100-2. The exposure port 105-2 is exposed. Since the operation method of the rotary electronic component 1-2 is the same as that of the rotary electronic component 1, description thereof is omitted.

And also in this rotary electronic component 1-2, the rubber-like drip-proof which has the opening part 71-2 which covers the part which protrudes the rotation knob 30-2 of the main body case 10-2, and inserts the rotation knob 30-2. The portion around the opening 71-2 of the plate 60-2 is brought into contact with the portion protruding from the main body case 10-2 of the rotary knob 30-2, thereby rotating with the opening 11-2 of the main body case 10-2. Since the gap between the knobs 30-2 is drip-proof, the intrusion of liquid into the main body case 10-2 can be prevented, and all the electrically functioning parts and other parts in the main body case 10-2 can be prevented. Drip-proof. Further, the portion around the opening 71-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 is brought into contact with the portion protruding from the main body case 10-2 of the rotary knob 30-2 with rubber-like elasticity. As a result, the sealing property is high and reliable drip-proofing can be achieved. Moreover, since only the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 is added, the structure is not complicated, and the structure can be simplified.

Also in the rotary electronic component 1-2 according to this embodiment, the portion around the opening 71-2 of the rubber drip-proof plate 60-2 is disposed around the opening 11-2 of the main body case 10-2. Since the drip-proof plate support portion 13-2 that supports the opening 71-2 in a predetermined position by supporting it at a plurality of locations (four locations) from the back side is provided, the rotation knob 30-2 has a rubber-like elasticity. The opening 71-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2, whose installation position is easy to move by being dragged by rotation or the like, can be reliably held at a desired position at all times. I can plan.

In the same manner as described with reference to FIG. 6, the portions of the knob operation surface waterproof portions 79-2 and 79-2 on the left and right sides of the rubber drip-proof plate 60-2 are drip-proof plates positioned above and below the portions. The contact portion 13-2 is deformed into substantially the same shape as the drip-proof plate holding side 17-2 by being in close contact with the drip-proof plate holding side 17-2, and the inner periphery of the opening 71-2. A portion facing the outer peripheral operation surface 31-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 that is further away from the front end side 71-2a contacts the outer peripheral operation surface 31-2 of the rotary knob 30-2. Thus, when the rotary knob 30-2 is rotated, the inner peripheral tip side 71-2a of the opening 71-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 is placed on the outer peripheral operation surface 31-2 of the rotary knob 30-2. It can be prevented from being dragged into the main body case 10-2, and the outer peripheral operation surface 31-2 and the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 can be brought into contact with each other to maintain hermeticity. I can plan.

Further, as described with reference to FIG. 4, inclined surfaces 25-2 and 28-2 (the inclined surface 28-2 is not shown) are provided on the upper and lower portions of the opening 11-2 of the main body case 10-2. The inclined surface abutting portions 73-2 and 75-2 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60-2 are brought into contact with the inclined surfaces 25-2 and 28-2, respectively, and are thereby inclined. The inner peripheral front end sides 71-2a and 71-2a of the opening portion 21-2 of 60-2 or the vicinity thereof are contacted with the contact portions 39-2 and 45-2 (the contact portion 45-2 of the rotary knob 30-2). (Not shown). Thereby, the sealing property of the abutted part is improved, and the drip-proof effect of this part is more reliable.

Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the technical idea described in the claims and the specification and drawings. Is possible. Note that any shape, structure, or material not directly described in the specification and drawings is within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention as long as the effects and advantages of the present invention are exhibited. In the rotary electronic component 1 (1-2), four drip-proof plate support portions 13 are provided in the main body case 10. However, a plurality of drip-proof plate support portions 13 other than four may be used. May be omitted. Further, a portion facing the outer peripheral operation surface 31 on the back surface of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 that is separated from the inner peripheral tip side 71 a of the opening 71 of the rubber-like drip-proof plate 60 by the drip-proof plate support portion 13 is the outer periphery of the rotary knob 30. Although it is in contact with the operation surface 31, the inner peripheral tip side 71 a may be brought into contact with the outer peripheral operation surface 31 in some cases. In the rotary electronic component 1 (1-2), the inclined surfaces 25 and 28 are provided on the upper and lower portions of the opening 11 of the main body case 10, but the inclined surfaces 25 and 28 are provided only on either the upper or lower portion.
