Description
また、マニュアル操作によってオオミジンコに物体を衝突させることで物体を搬送させる実験を行った。搬送物体としてポリプロピレンの板をこの字に加工し、いくつかのサイズを用いて搬送が可能かどうかを検証した。実験の結果として長辺が30mmまでの搬送物体においては衝突をさせ搬送させることに成功をした。この結果よりミジンコの発生力は原生生物よりも大きく、また自身の体長よりも大きい物を搬送できる力があることが分かった。例えば、図10に示すように、最大直径8mmのプラスチックのボールをミジンコに搬送させることにも成功した。

Claims (9)
- 水中における甲殻類の行動を前記甲殻類の走性を利用して制御する装置であって、
前記甲殻類を入れるための円筒状容器と、
前記円筒状容器の円周壁面に設置された、青色光を照射する複数の制御用光源と、
前記複数の制御用光源のうち前記甲殻類を泳がせたい方向に設置された前記制御用光源を点灯させる光源制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする行動制御装置。 - 前記光源制御手段は、前記甲殻類を泳がせたい方向に連続性を持たせて前記青色光の光強度を高くすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の行動制御装置。
- 更に、前記甲殻類の行動確認用の照明として赤色光を照射する確認用光源を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の行動制御装置。
- 前記円筒状容器の壁面は、つや消し黒色で塗装されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の行動制御装置。
- 前記光源制御手段は、前記甲殻類の反応遅れの特性に応じたタイミングで、点灯させる前記制御用光源の位置を切り替えることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の行動制御装置。
- 前記光源制御手段は、点Aと点Bとを結ぶ経路上にない点Dで前記甲殻類が点Bに向かって泳いでいる場合、点Aから見たときの点Bの方向をθ1、点Dから見たときの点Bの方向をθ2とすると、角度θ(θ=θ1+Kp(θ1−θ2))に示す位置に設置されている前記制御用光源を点灯させることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の行動制御装置。
- 更に、前記甲殻類の行動風景を撮影する撮影手段と、前記撮影手段により撮影された前記甲殻類の行動風景をコンピュータゲームに反映させるゲーム手段とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の行動制御装置。
- 前記甲殻類は、ミジンコであることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の行動制御装置。
- 水中における甲殻類の行動を前記甲殻類の走性を利用して制御する方法であって、
前記甲殻類を入れるための円筒状容器の円周壁面に青色光を照射する複数の制御用光源を設置し、前記複数の制御用光源のうち前記甲殻類を泳がせたい方向に設置された前記制御用光源を点灯させることを特徴とする行動制御方法。
