Description
Claims (5)
- a)照光用の偏光を発生させる1個又は複数個の固体光源、その固体光源で発生した偏光が辿る光路上にありその偏光軸を固体光源での第1偏光軸から第2偏光軸へと可制御的に回転させる偏光回転器、並びにその偏光が辿る光路上にありその偏光を変調するよう作動させうる微細電気機械式の空間光変調器を、それぞれ有する複数個の光変調アセンブリと、
b)空間光変調器上の相応な画像データにマッチするよう偏光軸の回転を経時的に制御する同期手段と、
c)空間光変調器にて第1偏光軸を有する偏光から生じる第1変調光及び第2偏光軸を有する偏光から生じる第2変調光を表示面方向に送る投射光学系と、
を備える立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタ。 - 請求項1記載の立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタであって、
少なくとも1つの固体光源は、第1偏光軸を有する光を生成し得る第1固体光源と、前記第1偏光軸に直交する第2偏光軸を有する光を生成し得る第2固体光源を含み、前記偏光回転器は、前記第1固体光源と第2固体光源からの光を、2つの経時的に交替する直交偏光状態として光軸に沿って可制御的に向かわせることができる回転エレメントである立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタ。 - 請求項1記載の立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタであって、
少なくとも1つの固体光源は、第1偏光軸を有する光を生成し得る第1固体光源と、前記第1偏光軸に直交する第2偏光軸を有する光を生成し得る第2固体光源を含み、さらに、
前記第1及び第2固体光源の偏光状態を交互に回転させて他方の偏光状態に一致させる交番的偏光変更手段と、
偏光を解消することなく2つの固体光源からの光を合成する光学合成手段と、
2つの固体光源からの、偏光状態が一致された光を前記光学合成手段に向ける再配向手段と、
を備える立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタ。 - a)第1偏光軸を有する偏光を照光用に発生させる第1固体光源、第1偏光軸に直交する第2偏光軸を有する偏光を照光用に発生させる第2固体光源、両者の偏光状態が互いに一致するよう第1又は第2固体光源からの偏光を交番的に回転させる交番的偏光変更手段、空間光変調器上での偏光変動が小さくなるよう第1固体光源からの偏光と第2固体光源からの偏光を結合させ単一の照光用偏光として所望方向に送る供給手段、並びにその作動中に光路沿いに入射してきた偏光を変調する微細電気機械式の空間光変調器を、それぞれ有する複数個の光変調アセンブリと、
b)空間光変調器上の相応な画像データにマッチするよう偏光軸の回転を経時的に制御する同期手段と、
c)空間光変調器にて第1偏光軸を有する偏光から生じる第1変調光及び第2偏光軸を有する偏光から生じる第2変調光を表示面方向に送る投射光学系と、
を備える立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタ。 - a)照光用の偏光を発生させる1個又は複数個の固体光源、その固体光源で発生した偏光が辿る光路上にありその偏光の偏光軸を変調器への画像データ供給に同期し固体光源での第1偏光軸から第2偏光軸へと可制御的に回転させる1個又は複数個の狭帯域な偏光回転器、並びにその偏光が辿る光路上にありその偏光を変調するよう作動させうる微細電気機械式の空間光変調器を、銘々に有する複数個の光変調アセンブリと、
b)空間光変調器にて第1偏光軸を有する偏光から生じる第1変調光及び第2偏光軸を有する偏光から生じる第2変調光を表示面方向に送る投射光学系と、
を備える立体視用ディジタル画像プロジェクタ。
