Description
Claims (12)
- 第1の発光ダイオード列を電気的にオンまたはオフするための第1のスイッチと、
第2の発光ダイオード列を電気的にオンまたはオフするための第2のスイッチと、
第1の制御信号を受信する信号入力と、前記第1のスイッチの制御入力と接続された信号出力と、クロック周期を持つクロック信号を受信するクロック入力と、を有する第1のシグマデルタ変調器と、
データ信号と第1のノイズ信号とに基づいて前記第1の制御信号を生成する第1の合成器と、
前記第1のシグマデルタ変調器の信号出力と前記第2のスイッチの制御入力とを接続する遅延素子と、
発光ダイオードの少なくとも一つの列を電気的にオンまたはオフするための少なくとも一つのさらなるスイッチと、
前記さらなるスイッチそれぞれに対応して、それぞれのさらなる制御信号を受信する信号入力と、前記さらなるスイッチの制御入力に接続された信号出力と、前記クロック信号を受信するクロック入力と、を有するさらなるシグマデルタ変調器と、
前記さらなるスイッチそれぞれに対応して、前記データ信号とそれぞれのさらなるノイズ信号とに基づいて前記さらなる制御信号を生成するさらなる合成器と、
前記第1のノイズ信号を生成する第1のノイズ生成器と、
前記さらなるノイズ信号を生成するさらなるノイズ生成器と、
を備え、
前記データ信号のワード長が前記第1のノイズ信号のワード長より大きく、
前記第1のノイズ信号は、正及び負の数から成り、
前記第1の合成器と前記さらなる合成器とには、同じ前記データ信号が供給され、
前記第1のノイズ生成器と、前記さらなるノイズ生成器とは、前記さらなるノイズ信号の擬似ランダムノイズ系列が前記第1のノイズ信号の擬似ランダム系列と異なるように、それぞれ独立している
ことを特徴とする発光ダイオードを制御する制御回路。 - 前記遅延素子の遅延時間は、前記クロック信号のクロック周期に対応していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の制御回路。
- 前記第1の発光ダイオード列は、前記第1のスイッチと電気的に接続されている複数の発光ダイオードから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の制御回路。
- 前記第1のノイズ信号を生成する第1のノイズ生成器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の制御回路。
- 前記クロック信号を受信する入力を有する第1のノイズ生成器を備えることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の制御回路。
- 前記第1のノイズ生成器が、擬似ランダムノイズ系列である第1のノイズ信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載の制御回路。
- 前記第1のノイズ信号の時間平均値がゼロであることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の制御回路。
- データ信号と第1のノイズ信号とから第1の制御信号を生成するステップと、
シグマデルタ変調器を用いて、前記第1の制御信号に基づき第1の切替信号を生成するステップと、
前記第1の切替信号を遅延させることにより第2の切替信号を生成するステップと、
前記第1の切替信号に基づいて、第1の発光ダイオード列を電気的にオンまたはオフするステップと、
当該第2の切替信号に基づいて、第2の発光ダイオード列を電気的にオンまたはオフするステップと、
さらなる発光ダイオード列それぞれに対応して、前記データ信号とそれぞれのさらなるノイズ信号とに基づいて、それぞれのさらなる制御信号を生成するステップと、
前記さらなる発光ダイオード列それぞれに対応して、シグマデルタ変調を用いて前記それぞれの制御信号からそれぞれのさらなる切替信号を生成するステップと、
前記さらなる発光ダイオード列それぞれに対応して、前記それぞれの切替信号に基づいて、前記それぞれの発光ダイオード列を電気的にオンまたはオフするステップと、
を備え、
前記データ信号のワード長が前記第1のノイズ信号のワード長より大きく、
前記第1のノイズ信号は、正及び負の数から成り、
前記第1の制御信号を生成するステップと前記さらなる制御信号を生成するステップとでは、同じ前記データ信号が供給され、
前記さらなるノイズ信号の擬似ランダムノイズ系列が前記第1のノイズ信号の擬似ランダム系列と異なる
ことを特徴とする発光ダイオードを制御する制御方法。 - 前記第2の切替信号を生成するための遅延時間が、シグマデルタ変調を行うために使用されたクロック信号のクロック周期に対応していることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の制御方法。
- 前記第1のノイズ信号の時間平均値がゼロであることを特徴とする請求項8又は9に記載の制御方法。
- 前記データ信号が所望の輝度に対応していることを特徴とする請求項8〜10のいずれか1項に記載の制御方法。
- 前記第1のノイズ信号が擬似ランダムノイズ系列であることを特徴とする請求項8〜11のいずれか1項に記載の制御方法。
