As a conventional food dryer, a heater, a fan, and food to be dried are stored side by side in a rectangular parallelepiped drying case, and an intake hole and a discharge hole are formed on one end surface and the other end surface of the drying case in the horizontal direction. The one with is known. This food dryer is so-called “horizontal blow type food dryer”, and the air sucked into the drying case from the intake hole by the operation of the fan is heated by the heater and supplied to the food to be dried. In addition, air containing moisture taken from the food to be dried is exhausted from the exhaust hole (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

0012])JP-A-9-195 (FIG. 4, paragraph [0012])

However, in the conventional food dryer described above, the high-temperature air heated by the heater passes through the food to be dried once and is exhausted to the outside even if the humidity is still sufficiently low. Measures were sought to save heating fuel costs and control global warming. In addition, in order to control global warming, it was not enough to simply replace the existing food dryer with a new dryer, and there was a need for measures that could make effective use of the existing food dryer. .

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a food dryer externally attached duct that can be attached to an existing food dryer and improve fuel efficiency, and a food dryer with the duct. .

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the food dryer external duct according to any one of the first to third aspects, the food dryer includes a plurality of types of intermediate communication portions having different lengths, and is arranged in a lateral direction of the food dryer. It is characterized in that the intermediate connecting portion can be selected according to the length and attached to the exhaust cover portion and the intake cover portion.

A food dryer with a duct according to the invention of claim 5 is characterized in that the food dryer external duct according to any one of claims 1 to 4 is fixed to the outer surface of the food dryer. Have.

[Invention of Claim 1]
When the food dryer external duct of claim 1 is attached to an existing food dryer, the high-temperature air exhausted from the exhaust case to the outside of the food dryer drying case is the exhaust cover portion of the food dryer external duct, It passes through the intermediate connecting portion and the intake cover portion in this order, and is sucked into the dry case from the intake hole. Thus, according to the present invention, since the high-temperature air exhausted from the food dryer is again sucked into the food dryer, effective use of the heat used for heating the air in the food dryer is achieved, Fuel consumption is improved.

[Invention of claim 2]
The food dry outside with duct according to claim 2, the intermediate connecting portion, since the angled cylindrical shape extending in the transverse direction of the food dryer in the upper surface of the rectangular parallelepiped dry case in food dryer Can be easily installed.

[Invention of claim 3]
In the food dryer external duct according to claim 3, the intake damper can be maintained at an arbitrary opening degree to introduce outside air from the duct intake hole, and the exhaust damper opens according to the increase in internal pressure due to the introduction of the outside air. The internal air can be discharged to the outside through the duct exhaust hole. Specifically, since the intake damper is pivoted and opened to the inside of the intermediate connecting portion, the flow of air on the exhaust cover portion side, that is, the upstream side from the intake damper is restricted, and the internal pressure rises. As a result, the exhaust damper is easily opened, air is smoothly exhausted from the duct exhaust hole, and outside air is smoothly introduced from the duct intake hole. Further, when the intake damper is closed, the internal pressure is reduced, the exhaust damper is also closed, and the introduction and removal of air is suppressed. Thus, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce the humidity of the air sucked into the food dryer by exchanging part of the air in the food dryer external duct with the outside air as necessary.

[Invention of claim 4 ]
According to the configuration of claim 4 , when a plurality of types of food dryer external ducts are provided corresponding to the length in the lateral direction of the food dryer, a component is provided between the plurality of types of food dryer external ducts. Can be made common and manufacturing costs can be reduced.

[Invention of claim 5 ]
The food dryer with a duct according to claim 5 is excellent in fuel consumption because the food dryer external duct according to any one of claims 1 to 4 is fixed to the outer surface of the food dryer, and is excellent in dry fuel. The manufacturing cost can be reduced.

A duct intake hole 42A is formed on the upper surface of the unit duct 42 disposed on the intake side wall 21A side. The duct intake hole 42A has a rectangular shape that is long in the width direction of the intermediate connecting portion 41 (the front-rear direction of the drying case 21). The duct intake hole 42A is opened and closed by an intake damper 42T. The intake damper 42T has substantially the same rectangular shape as the duct intake hole 42A, is rotatably connected to the opening edge of the duct intake hole 42A on the exhaust side wall 21C side, and is flush with the upper surface wall of the intermediate connecting portion 41. Thus, the duct intake hole 42A is closed and rotated toward the inside of the unit duct 42 to open the duct intake hole 42A.

A rotation support shaft 42J that rotates integrally with the intake damper 42T is provided at the rotation center of the intake damper 42T. One end portion of the rotation support shaft 42J protrudes forward in the food dryer 20, and the protrusion portion The needle gauge 43, the intake damper manual handle 44, and the power output unit of the damper drive source 95 shown in FIG. 5 are fixed.

The damper drive source 95 includes a reduction gear mechanism (not shown) and a motor (not shown) connected to the input side of the reduction mechanism inside a rectangular parallelepiped gear box 95B fixed to the front surface of the intermediate connecting portion 41. ing. Further, an output hole penetrating in the front-rear direction is provided at a position near the upper end of the damper drive source 95, the rotation support shaft 42J penetrates the output hole in the front-rear direction, and the rotation support shaft 42J is an output of the speed reduction mechanism. Connected to the side.

The needle gauge 43 is for visually confirming the inclination of the intake damper 42T, and is in a cantilever shape and protrudes from the rotation support shaft 42J in the same direction as the intake damper 42T. The gear box 95B is fixed in a state of being in partial contact with the front surface of the intermediate connecting portion 41, and the proximal end portion of the needle gauge 43 is located between the gear box 95B and the front surface of the intermediate connecting portion 41. It fits in the gap between them.

The intake damper manual handle 44 is suspended from a portion of the rotation support shaft 42J that protrudes forward from the gear box 95B, and extends to a position overlapping the front surface of the drying case 21. The lower end portion of the intake damper manual handle 44 is covered from the front by a damper opening adjustment cover 37 fixed to the front surface of the drying case 21. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 7, the damper opening adjustment cover 37 has a pair of leg portions 37 </ b> C and 37 </ b> C from both ends of the main plate portion 37 </ b> B having the arc-shaped slit 37 </ b> A toward the front surface of the drying case 21. It has a protruding gate structure. The leg portions 37C and 37C are fixed to the front surface of the drying case 21, and the lower end portion of the intake damper manual handle 44 is received in the gap between the main plate portion 37B and the front surface of the drying case 21.

Further, a part of the lower end portion of the intake damper manual handle 44 is exposed forward through the arc-shaped slit 37A, and the female screw 44X formed in the exposed portion is operated from the front of the arc-shaped slit 37A. A knob 93 is attached. Specifically, the operation knob 93 has a structure in which a male screw 93B protrudes from the center of a disc-shaped knob main body 93A, and the male screw 93B is screwed into the female screw 44X, so that the operation knob 93 is brought into the intake damper. A manual handle 44 is attached. With these configurations, the intake damper 42T can be opened / closed by either automatic opening / closing using the damper drive source 95 and manual opening / closing by operating the operation knob 93, as will be described later.

As shown in FIG. 4, the intake cover portion 45 and the exhaust cover portion 46 have a groove shape extending in the vertical direction, and the groove openings are both ends in the lateral direction of the food dryer 20 as shown in FIG. 5. It is occluded by the surface. Specifically, the intake cover 45 and the exhaust cover 46 are formed from both side edge portions of the main cover wall 50 that are disposed to face each lateral end surface of the food dryer 20 (the outer surface of the intake side wall 21A or the exhaust side wall 21C). The upper and lower end portions of the groove-shaped structure from which the pair of side cover walls 47, 47 are projected are closed by the upper surface wall 48 and the lower surface wall 49. As shown in FIG. 5, the intake cover portion 45 covers the entire intake side wall 21 </ b> A and protrudes upward from the drying case 21, and is fixed to the drying case 21 with screws or the like (not shown). The exhaust cover portion 46 covers the entire exhaust side wall 21C and protrudes upward from the drying case 21, and is fixed to the drying case 21 with screws or the like (not shown). Then, both end portions of the intermediate connecting portion 41 are connected to portions of the intake cover portion 45 and the exhaust cover portion 46 that protrude upward from the drying case 21, and the whole has a portal structure as shown in FIG. 6. The inner space of the intake cover portion 45 and the exhaust cover portion 46 communicates with the inner space of the intermediate connecting portion 41.

As shown in FIG. 4, a pair of operation windows 51 are formed vertically on each side cover wall 47 of the intake cover portion 45 and the exhaust cover portion 46. A pair of rails 52 and 52 are provided on both side edges of the operation window 51, and the operation window 51 is closed by inserting a closing plate 53 between the rails 52 and 52 from above. Then, the operation window 51 can be opened by operating the closing plate 53, and the opening adjustment plate 33 or the opening adjustment plate 33X inside the intake cover portion 45 and the exhaust cover portion 46 can be operated.

One side cover wall 47 disposed on the front side of the food dryer 20 in the intake cover portion 45 is formed with a belt cover receiving portion 54 by cutting a middle portion in the vertical direction into a square shape. Then, the belt cover 36 is accommodated in the belt cover receiving portion 54 (see FIG. 5). Further, a hygrometer 91 (see FIG. 5) is attached to a position closer to the upper portion of the main cover wall 50 in the intake cover portion 45 facing the intake side wall 21A.

As shown in FIG. 4, a plurality of duct exhaust holes 55 are vertically arranged in the main cover wall 50 of the exhaust cover portion 46. The duct exhaust hole 55 has a rectangular shape extending in the width direction on the main cover wall 50. Each duct exhaust hole 55 is opened and closed by an exhaust damper 56. The exhaust damper 56 has substantially the same rectangular shape as the duct exhaust hole 55, is rotatably connected to the upper opening edge of the duct exhaust hole 55, and is urged to close the duct exhaust hole 55 by its own weight. It pivots to the outside of the external duct 40 and opens.

The description regarding the structure of the external duct 40 of this embodiment and the food dryer 10 with a duct is above. Next, the effects of the external duct 40 and the food dryer 10 with a duct will be described.

In order to start the operation of the food dryer 10 with the duct, the raw shiitake mushroom is placed on the tray 29T (see FIG. 2) and stored in the first to third food storage rooms 22C, 22E, 22G. The male screw 93B is left loose with respect to the female screw 44X of the intake damper manual handle 44. Then, for example, the target temperature and the target humidity are set on the operation panel provided in the control unit 39, and a start switch (not shown) is turned on. Then, the main heaters 25 and 26 generate heat due to the flame generated by burning the kerosene or heavy oil by the heating burner 23, and the fan drive motor 35 drives the inner fan 28 to rotate at a constant rotational speed. The air sucked into the case 21 is fed laterally within the drying case 21. As a result, the high-temperature air heated by the main heater 25 and the sub heater 26 passes through the first to third food storage rooms 22C, 22E, 22G and is discharged from the exhaust hole 34.

Then, the control unit 39 changes the output of the heating burner 23 according to the deviation between the target temperature (set temperature) and the temperature actually measured by the thermometer 90 (see FIG. 5) in the main heating chamber 22A. Further, the control unit 39 determines whether or not the actually measured humidity measured by the hygrometer 91 in the external duct 40 matches the target humidity (set humidity), and when the actually measured humidity exceeds the target humidity. Is opened by rotating the intake damper 42T toward the inside of the intermediate connecting portion 41 by the damper drive source 95. Then, the air flow on the exhaust cover portion 46 side, that is, the upstream side is restricted from the opened intake damper 42T, the internal pressure rises, and the exhaust damper 56 is opened by the internal pressure. Thereby, a part of the air exhausted from the food dryer 20 is exhausted from the duct exhaust hole 55, and outside air is introduced from the duct intake hole 42A. Further, the air that has been exhausted from the food dryer 20 and not exhausted from the duct exhaust hole 55 passes through the gap between the intake damper 42T and the inner surface of the external duct 40 and merges with the external air from the duct intake hole 42A. Then, the reused heated air and the outside air are mixed and sucked into the food dryer 20 from the group of intake holes 31. At this time, the humidity is lowered by mixing the heated air and the outside air, and as a result, the actually measured humidity by the hygrometer 91 is also lowered. Then, when the actually measured humidity falls below the target humidity, the intake damper 42T operates in a closing direction, and the ratio of heated air increases from the intake amount of the outside air. Note that when the heated air and the outside air are mixed, the measured temperature is lowered together with the measured humidity, so that the output of the heating burner 23 is increased.

Specifically, when raw shiitake mushrooms are accommodated in the food dryer 10 with ducts and the operation of the food dryer 10 with ducts is started, a large amount of water vapor is generated from the shiitake mushrooms. During the initial period after the start of the operation, the intake damper 42T and the exhaust damper 56 are continuously opened. Then, with the passage of time, the amount of water vapor gradually decreases from shiitake mushrooms, and the intake damper 42T and the exhaust damper 56 move in the closing direction.

Moreover, in the food dryer 10 with a duct of this embodiment, it can switch from normal mode to damper manual mode by operating the operation panel with which the control unit 39 was equipped. Then, the damper drive source 95 is not energized, and the operation knob 93 can be operated to manually open and close the intake damper 42T. In this case, the operation knob 93 may be tightened after the male screw 93B of the operation knob 93 is loosened with respect to the female screw 44X of the intake damper manual handle 44 and the intake damper 42T is set to an arbitrary opening degree. Then, the edge of the arc-shaped slit 37A in the damper opening adjustment cover 37 is tightened between the knob main body 93A of the operation knob 93 and the intake damper manual handle 44, and the intake damper 42T is fixed at an arbitrary rotational position. can do. Thereby, the intake amount of the outside air during operation of the food dryer 10 with duct can be arbitrarily changed based on experience.

As described above, when the external duct 40 of the present embodiment is attached to the existing food dryer 20, the high-temperature air exhausted from the exhaust hole 34 to the outside of the drying case 21 of the food dryer 20 causes the external duct 40 to be attached. Since it passes through and is sucked into the dry case 21 from the air intake hole 31, the heat used for heating the air in the food dryer 20 is effectively used, fuel efficiency is improved, and dry food (dried shiitake) is manufactured. Cost can be reduced. Moreover, the humidity of the air suck | inhaled by the food dryer 20 can also be reduced by exchanging some air in the external duct 40 with external air as needed. Further, the external duct 40 has a portal structure in which a groove-shaped exhaust cover portion 46 and an intake cover portion 45 are extended downward from both ends of a rectangular tube-shaped intermediate connecting portion 41 extending in the lateral direction (FIG. 6). Therefore, it can be easily attached in a state where the upper surface and both side surfaces of the rectangular parallelepiped drying case 21 are covered. Further, by changing the number of unit ducts 42 constituting the intermediate connecting portion 41, it is possible to cope with a plurality of types of food dryers 20 having different lateral lengths.
