Description

The present invention relates to a battery pack that fixes a battery pack terminal near a terminal of a mobile communication device.

The terminal on the mobile communication device side to which the battery pack is to be mounted has a stroke amount that can be connected sufficiently in consideration of the dimensional variation of the battery pack, especially the battery cell, and the clearance for securing the battery pack. It was designed.

The size of the portion of the conventional mobile communication device where the battery pack is mounted is a size that takes into account variations in the outer dimensions of the battery pack, and there is a clearance so that the battery pack can be inserted and removed without difficulty when replacing the battery pack.

FIG. 2 is an example of a lithium ion battery that is attached to a cell that is a battery body and is a side view of a protective circuit board for appropriately charging and discharging the cell, and FIG. It is the figure which looked at the circuit board for operation from the front. The protection circuit board shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 is integrated with the battery body and included in the battery pack.

As shown in FIG. 2, the protection circuit board has a protection circuit component mounting portion 21 on which the protection circuit components are mounted.

In FIG. 3, the protective circuit board viewed from the front includes a terminal 31 that is electrically connected to a terminal on the mobile communication device side.

As shown in FIG. 4, the battery pack is assembled by connecting an insulating component 42, a protective circuit board 45, a connecting component A 43 and a connecting component B 44 to a cell 41.

The battery pack terminal is on the protection circuit board as shown in FIG. 3, and the protection circuit board is fixed by a claw 51 for fixing the circuit board on the frame as shown in FIG. The claw 51 for fixing the circuit board has a certain clearance 54 so as to ensure the dimensional variation between the claw 51 itself and the protection circuit board 45 and the fitability of the protection circuit board 45, and the terminal recess 53 from the terminal window 53. The dimension 52 is secured.

Further, as shown in FIG. 6, the battery pack is attached so that the outer periphery of the battery assembly 61 assembled by connecting an insulating part, a protective circuit board and other parts to the cell as shown in FIG. The battery assembly and frame also have clearance for assembly and absorption of dimensional variations.

The terminal on the mobile communication device side has a stroke amount designed to absorb the clearance required for these designs, so there is no problem in connection reliability, but as a result it is pushed by the terminal on the mobile communication device side. In this case, the terminal on the battery pack side is separated from the terminal on the mobile communication device side by the clearance.

As miniaturization on the mobile communication device side progresses, there is an increasing demand for miniaturization of the terminal on the mobile communication device side, and the miniaturization design of the terminal itself is difficult in consideration of the above dimensional variation, clearance, etc. There has been a need to reduce the above dimensional variation, clearance, etc. by some method.

Therefore, in Patent Document 1, a disc-shaped spacer is fitted to the negative electrode side of the battery, and the battery is moved from the negative electrode side to the positive electrode side by this spacer to absorb the looseness, while on the positive electrode side. An invention via a coil spring is disclosed.

Patent Document 2 discloses an invention that holds not only the upper surface of the battery pack but also the side surface of the battery pack to prevent displacement of the battery pack.

特開2001−266821号公報Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-266821 特開2007−042537号公報JP 2007-042537 A

However, the invention disclosed in Patent Literature 1 has a problem that the terminal itself cannot be downsized by setting a coil spring on the positive electrode side.

The invention disclosed in Patent Document 2 has a problem that the mechanism for holding the side surface of the battery pack is bulky, and as a result, downsizing of the device may be hindered.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a battery pack capable of fixing a battery pack terminal near a terminal of a mobile communication device.

In order to solve the above-described problems, a battery pack according to the present invention connects and assembles components including a battery body, a cell, an insulating component, and a circuit board that is electrically connected to the cell and has a battery terminal to the outside. A battery pack that covers the outer periphery of the battery assembly with a frame and is attached to a battery attachment portion that is a recess provided in the body of the electronic device, wherein the frame has an opening that exposes the battery terminals on one side. A holding structure that abuts against the wall surface of the battery mounting portion on one surface facing the one surface having the opening, and the battery terminal elastically abuts against the wall surface of the battery mounting portion, There is crimped to the terminal of the electronic device side, a portion said retaining structure of the frame, the convex portion of the substantially cylindrical outside, after which projects into the interior of the frame is molded integrally with the plate spring structure that protrudes Have As a result, the amount of elastic deformation of the holding structure is regulated by the cell position. It is characterized by contacting with

Further, the holding structure has a convex portion formed on the outer peripheral side of the frame, and at least a part of the convex portion is formed of an elastic material.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the battery pack fixing method which can fix a battery pack terminal to the terminal vicinity of a mobile communication apparatus can be provided.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. Here, FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of the invention of the battery pack fixing method according to the embodiment of the present invention.

In this embodiment, the dimensions of the battery assembly, the dimensions of the frame, and the dimensions of the portion where the battery pack 11 of the mobile communication device is mounted are taken into consideration, so that the dimensions of the frame (C) can be reduced. A holding structure 12 having a spring property as shown in FIG.

The frame (C) 13 and the frame (P) are molded from a general plastic material.

One surface of the frame (C) 13 installed so as to surround the cell has a holding structure 12, and one surface of the frame (P) 14 facing the one surface having the holding structure 12 has a protective circuit board and An opening for exposing a battery terminal electrically connected to the cell is provided.

Here, FIGS. 9 and 10 explain the holding structure 12 in detail with reference to the drawings showing the frame of the present embodiment.

The frame of the battery pack is electrically connected to the frame (C) 13 having the holding structure 12 for reducing the clearance amount as shown in FIG. 9, the protective circuit board as shown in FIG. 10, and the cell. 2 parts of the frame (P) 14 of the protection circuit board side frame in which the terminal window 53 which is an opening for exposing the battery terminal is present.

The frame (C) 13 includes a holding structure 12 that is in contact with the wall surface of the battery mounting portion on one surface facing the one surface having the opening. The holding structure 12 is integrally molded with a leaf spring structure in which a part of the frame (C) 13 protrudes to the inside of the frame and then a substantially cylindrical convex portion protrudes to the outside. The holding structure 12 is formed in consideration of the variation in the outer dimensions of the cell and the clearance so as to surely contact the wall surface of the battery mounting portion. Further, the amount of elastic deformation of the holding structure 12 is restricted by the cells covered with the frame, and even if the elastic force of the holding structure 12 is reduced, the structure protrudes to the minimum necessary with respect to the outer periphery of the frame.

The frame (P) 14 has a claw for fixing the circuit board as shown in FIG. The battery assembly is assembled in the frame (P) 14 so that the circuit board fits into the circuit board fixing claw of the frame (P) 14.

Then, the frame (C) is fitted to the frame (P), and as shown in FIG. 6, the holding structure is wrapped, and the whole is covered with a label to which an adhesive or an adhesive is attached, and is fixed to the battery pack. 11 is assumed.

Reference is now made to FIG. FIG. 7 is a diagram showing a state where a battery pack is attached to a mobile communication device in the present embodiment. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view of the state of FIG. 7 viewed from the right side.

As shown in FIG. 7, when the battery pack is mounted on the battery mounting portion 72 in the mobile communication device, the holding structure 12 contacts the wall surface of the battery mounting portion 72 and separates from the surface on which the battery assembly 61 contacts. The shape and dimensions are such that the terminal of the battery pack is moved close to the mobile communication device side terminal 73.

By attaching the battery pack to the mobile communication device, as shown in FIG. 8, the terminal position of the battery pack can be fixed close to the terminal on the mobile communication device side without eliminating the clearance.

By mounting the battery pack 11 on the main body, the battery pack holding structure 12 according to the present embodiment contacts the wall of the battery mounting portion of the mobile communication device to support the battery assembly.

Thereby, after each dimension clearance is reduced, the battery terminal is fixed in a state close to the terminal on the mobile communication device side.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, first, even in a state where there is a clearance considering the dimensional variation of each part, the battery assembly is placed on the mobile communication device side by the spring property and size of the holding structure on the frame. Can be placed close to the terminal.

Second, since the holding structure 12 can be integrally formed with the frame, the battery assembly can be placed close to the terminal on the mobile communication device side without adding new parts.

Third, since each clearance can be reduced, the positional accuracy of the battery assembly and the positional accuracy of the battery terminals on the battery assembly are improved, so that the connection reliability is improved.

Fourth, since the stroke amount can be reduced with respect to the terminal of the mobile communication device, it can contribute to further miniaturization of the terminal of the mobile communication device.

Fifth, since the holding structure 12 integrally molds a part of the frame (C) 13 with a leaf spring structure in which a substantially cylindrical convex portion projects outside after projecting to the inside of the frame, the amount of elastic deformation However, even if the elastic force of the holding structure 12 is reduced by the cells covered with the frame, it can protrude from the outer peripheral portion of the frame to the minimum necessary, and the clearance can be maintained.

[Other embodiments]
In the above embodiment, the holding structure existing in the frame (C) in the present invention can have any shape, number, etc. as long as each clearance dimension is taken into consideration. It can be arranged freely according to the design and fitting method.

Furthermore, the shape of the frame (C) of the battery pack is not limited and can have any shape as well as the shape of the frame as shown in FIGS. . Moreover, the same effect can be expected by combining the above.

In the above embodiment of the present invention, the lithium ion battery has been described as an example. However, the battery type may be a nickel metal hydride battery or another type of battery, and in that case, protection for appropriately charging and discharging the cell is performed. No circuit board is required.

Although the frame (C) 13 is molded from a plastic material, a metal material may be used as long as the holding structure 12 has an elastic shape that abuts both the side surface of the battery mounting portion 27 and the cell 41.

The configuration of covering and fixing with a label as the configuration of the battery pack 11 has been described, but this is simply fixing the cell, the circuit board, the frame (C), the frame (P), electrically insulating the frame ( C) In order to solve the problem of the present invention, the structure such as the frame (P) is used for making it slippery to smoothly insert into the battery mounting portion when the clearance cannot be maintained due to torsion. It is not a necessary component.

Although the present invention has been described as a battery pack to be incorporated into an electronic device, only two surfaces of the battery pack are used to shorten the stroke length of the battery terminal and ensure the insertion / extraction clearance. It may be a charging device that holds down the battery pack.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used for a battery pack attached to a mobile communication device main body such as a mobile phone, a general electronic device incorporating a battery pack, and a charging device for charging the battery pack alone.
