Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2005-50603

<Normal usage of one set of combination terminals>
FIG. 2 shows a conventional example of normal use of screw tightening using one set of the combination terminals, where (A) is a perspective view before the combination and (B) is a perspective view after the combination.
The two terminals 20 and 30 shown in FIG. 2 are combination terminals used in combination in order to reliably connect the two electric wires W1 and W2. Reference numeral 10 denotes a combination terminal that uses a combination of two terminals, a ground terminal 20 and a ground terminal mounting terminal 30 (hereinafter, both are simply referred to as “terminals”). The terminal 20 and the terminal 30 are formed in a shape that meshes with each other as described below. Each of the terminals 20 and 30 has insertion holes 20W and 30W through which bolts, male screw terminals and mounting screws (hereinafter referred to as “bolts and the like”) are inserted at the center, and is engaged with the locking piece 20K at the end of the terminal. The electric wires W1 and W2 are crimped together with the stop holes 30K.
One terminal 20 has a locking step portion 20D (right side 20DR, left side 20DL) protruding downward on both sides of the insertion hole, and the other terminal 30 protrudes upward corresponding to the locking step portion 20D of the terminal 20. It has a locking step 30D (right side 30DR, left side 30DL). Therefore, the terminal 20 and the terminal 30 are firmly coupled by locking the locking step portions (concave portions) 20DR and 20DL of one terminal 20 to the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL of the other terminal 30 (convex portion), respectively. (Refer to FIG. 2 (B)), and thereafter, bolts or the like are inserted into and fixed to the insertion holes 20W and 30W in the central portions of the terminals 20 and 30, respectively.

<When using one of the combination terminals>
Normally, one set of combination terminals is used as described above (that is, in a state where two terminals are combined), but only one terminal may be used for the convenience of the circuit. In such a case, screw tightening is performed using only one of the two terminals. FIG. 3A is a perspective view in the case of screw tightening using only one terminal (here, the terminal 30 in FIG. 2A).
The terminal 30 with the end portion of the electric wire W crimped by the electrical contact portion 30K has an insertion hole 30W in the center, and a bolt or the like is inserted into the insertion hole 30W to fix it to the fixed object.

<Problem of tightening screws with one combination terminal>
However, since the terminal 30 has the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL protruding upward on both sides of the insertion hole 30W, the head of the bolt or the like comes to press the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL. The part is easily deformed, and there is a risk that the terminal may be deformed or damaged, or the bolt may be loosened.
Further, when the other terminal 20 is used for screw tightening, since the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL projecting downward are provided on both sides of the insertion hole 20W, the head of the bolt or the like has a locking step. Parts other than the portions 20DR and 20DL are pressed, and this portion is likely to be deformed, which may cause deformation or breakage of the terminal or may lead to loosening of the bolt.
In order to solve this problem, it is preferable to use a terminal having a flat screw fastening portion.

<Screw tightening with a flat screw terminal>
FIG. 3B is a perspective view when the screw tightening is performed using a terminal having a flat screw tightening portion. The terminal 40 obtained by crimping the end portion of the electric wire W with the electric contact portion 40K has an insertion hole 40W in the center, and a bolt or the like is inserted into the insertion hole 40W and fixed to the fixed object.
When a screw is tightened using a terminal having a flat screw tightening portion, there is no risk of the terminal being deformed or damaged, and therefore, there is no risk of loosening of the bolt.

<Problems with flat terminals>
However, when a screw is tightened using a terminal having a flat screw tightening portion, it is necessary to newly install a terminal having a flat screw tightening portion.
Therefore, 1) a mold cost is required for starting a new mold, and 2) a management cost is required due to the addition of the terminal part number.

Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve these problems, and there is no possibility of deformation or breakage of the terminal, and therefore there is no risk of loosening of the bolt. It is an object of the present invention to provide a screw fastening method and a terminal connection structure that do not need to be performed, and therefore do not require a new mold construction, and that do not require management costs by adding a terminal part number.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention relates to a screw fastening method for a single electric wire using one set of combination terminals , and has a single through-hole through which a screw passes, and around the through-hole. A first terminal having a concave and convex surface formed thereon and connected to an electric wire ;
A through hole through which the screw passes, and a second terminal having an uneven surface with a convex and concave surface formed around the through hole and connected to an electric wire;
The convex of the second terminal is disposed on the concave of the first terminal, and the concave of the second terminal is overlapped vertically so as to be disposed under the convex of the first terminal , In combination terminals that insert screws into two through holes and tighten them,
One wire connection terminal connected to the wire;
A wire non-connecting terminal formed of the same mold as the other wire connecting terminal to which the wire is connected;
Overlay
Screws are inserted into the two through holes and tightened.

According to the present invention , since one set of combination terminals is used, the uneven portions overlap each other, so that even if the convex portion is pressed with the head of a bolt or the like, the terminal is not deformed or damaged. There is no risk of loosening, and since existing terminals in stock are used, there is no need to install a new terminal separately, so there is no need to start a new mold, and by adding a terminal part number There is no administration cost.

FIG. 1 is a diagram for explaining a screw tightening method according to the present invention in which one wire is tightened using one combination terminal. It is a perspective view. FIGS. 2A and 2B are diagrams for explaining an original screw tightening method for screwing two electric wires using one set of combination terminals. FIG. 2A is a perspective view before combination terminals and FIG. 2B is a perspective view after combination. It is. FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining a conventional method for screwing one electric wire. FIG. 3A is a perspective view of Conventional Method 1 and FIG.

Below, there is no risk of deformation or breakage of the terminal, and therefore there is no risk of loosening of the bolt, and there is no need to newly install a new terminal, and therefore no need to start a new mold. The screw tightening which does not incur the management cost by adding the product number will be described with reference to FIG.
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 10 denotes a combination terminal that uses a combination of two of the ground terminal 20 and the ground terminal mounting terminal 30 (hereinafter simply referred to as “terminal”) as in FIG. 2. The ground terminal 20 and the mounting terminal 30 are formed in a shape that meshes with each other as described below.

<Terminal 20>
The terminal 20 is an electric wire terminal connected to the ground point of the vehicle body panel, and is known as an automobile round plate terminal (LA). The terminal 20 is from both sides of the board portion 20B having an insertion hole 20W at the center and the left and right sides of the insertion hole 20W (left and right as viewed from the letter “M6R” printed on the surface of the terminal 20 in FIG. 1). A pair of locking step portions 20DR (right side of the insertion hole 20W) and 20DL (left side of the insertion hole 20W) projecting in the plate thickness direction of the substrate portion 20B, and a locking piece 20K provided at the tip end portion of the substrate portion 20B. And.

<< 20H insertion hole >>
The insertion hole 20 </ b> W has a substantially rectangular shape, and is a hole through which a bolt or the like is inserted in order to fully tighten the terminal 20 to the terminal 30. As a result, the terminal 20 is prevented from coming off due to vibration of the automobile, and the terminal 20 is securely fixed to the terminal 30.

<< Locking step 20DR, 20DL >>
The locking step portions 20DR and 20DL protrude toward the back surface (the side on which the letter “M6R” is printed on the front surface of the terminal 20 in the drawing is facing) with respect to the substrate portion 20B. The protruding directions of the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL are alternated with the protruding direction of the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL of the mounting terminal 30. In this way, by locking the protruding direction of the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL and the protruding direction of the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL, the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL are located inside the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL. It enters and meshes with each other (see FIG. 1B). Slits 20S corresponding to the slits 30S of the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL are formed on the leading ends of the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL.

Locking piece 20K》
The locking piece 20K is a cantilever-like elastic piece, which inclines toward the back surface of the substrate portion 20B from the base portion to the tip portion, and the tip portion projects from the back surface. When the locking piece 20K is engaged with the locking hole 30K of the terminal 30 which is the counterpart, the terminal 20 is locked to the terminal 30 and is prevented from being pulled out later.

<Terminal 30>
The terminal 30 is formed with a shape corresponding to each part facing each part of the terminal 20 described above. That is, an insertion hole 30W for inserting a bolt or the like is formed in the center portion of the terminal 30, and the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL are respectively provided on the left and right sides of the insertion hole 30W, and the locking hole 30K is provided on the tip end portion. And the slit 30S and the stopper 30T are provided in the front end side of latching step part 30DR, 30DL. The front (front) surface of the terminal overlaps the back surface of the terminal 20 in a surface contact state to reduce contact resistance, thereby preventing heat generation and maintaining the reliability of electrical connection.

<< Locking step 30DR, 30DL >>
The locking step portions 30DR and 30DL protrude in a step shape in the thickness direction of the terminal 30. For this reason, the recessed part is formed inside locking step part 30DR, 30DL. In addition, a pair of slits 30S is formed on both sides of the distal end portions of the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL. For this reason, the ground terminal 20 is sandwiched between the slits 30S of the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL so that the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL of the terminal 20 and the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL are engaged with each other. become.

<< Locking hole 30K >>
The locking hole 30 </ b> K is formed at a position corresponding to the locking piece 20 </ b> K of the terminal 20. Since the locking piece 20K of the ground terminal 20 is inclined toward the back surface, and the tip protrudes from the back surface, when the terminal 20 is attached to the terminal 30, the locking piece 20K is engaged with the edge of the locking hole 30K. The terminal 20 is prevented from coming off.

<< Stopper 30T >>
By providing the stopper 30 </ b> T, the terminal 20 is prevented from shaking and the workability of connecting the terminal 20 to the terminal 30 is improved.

<Terminal combination procedure>
Next, a procedure for combining the terminals having the above configuration will be described.
The terminal 20 is disposed directly above the terminal 30, is slid in the direction in which the locking steps 20 DR and 20 DL of the terminal 20 are arranged, and is temporarily fixed to the terminal 30 in a half-fitted state. At this time, the insertion holes 30 </ b> W and 20 </ b> W of both the terminal 30 and the terminal 20 partially overlap to form a common communication hole.
Next, when a terminal fixing bolt or the like is pushed into the communication hole 10W, the communication hole 10W is expanded, and at the same time, the terminal 20 slides, and the locking step portions 20DR and 20DL of the terminal 20 become the locking step portion 30DR. The terminals 20 are inserted into the recesses of the 30DL, the terminals 20 are sandwiched between the slits 30S of the locking step portions 30DR and 30DL, and the terminals 20 and 30 are connected without fear of being deformed or damaged.
