Description
本発明の一実施形態によるビデオ復号化装置は、符号化されたビデオに係わるビットストリームを受信してパージングするパージング部と、前記ビットストリームから、最大符号化単位別に符号化されたビデオデータ、並びに前記最大符号化単位別の符号化深度及び符号化モードについての情報を抽出する抽出部と、前記最大符号化単位別の符号化深度及び符号化モードについての情報に基づいて、前記最大符号化単位別に少なくとも1つの符号化深度別符号化単位ごとに、前記符号化単位が任意の比率で分割されたパーティションを利用した動き補償を含む復号化を遂行する復号化部と、を含み、前記符号化深度別符号化単位は、前記最大符号化単位の少なくとも1つの分割領域ごとに、階層的構造の深度別符号化単位の深度のうち一つに決定されてもよい。

現在符号化単位で可能な最小変換単位サイズ「CurrMinTuSize」と比較し、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」は、システム上採択可能な最大変換単位サイズを示すことができる。すなわち、数式(1)によれば、「RootTuSize/(2^MaxTransformSizeIndex)」は、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」を、最大変換単位分割情報に相応する回数ほど分割した変換単位サイズであり、「MinTransformSize」は、最小変換単位サイズであるから、それらのうち小さい値が、現在現在符号化単位で可能な最小変換単位サイズ「CurrMinTuSize」である。
すなわち、現在予測モードがインターモードであるならば、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」は、最大変換単位サイズ及び現在予測単位サイズのうち小さい値に設定される。
すなわち、現在予測モードがイントラモードであるならば、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」は、最大変換単位サイズ及び現在パーティション単位サイズのうち小さい値に設定される。
Claims (6)
- ビデオ復号化方法において、
符号化された映像に対するビットストリームからパーティションタイプが符号化単位を非対称的比率に分割するパーティションを含むかどうかを示す非対称的パーティション許容情報、前記パーティションの大きさ及び形態を示すパーティションタイプ情報、及び、符号化単位の分割情報、をパージングする段階と、
前記符号化単位の分割情報を利用して、最大符号化単位に含まれた階層構造の符号化単位を決定する段階と、
前記非対称的パーティション情報によって非対称的パーティションが許容されれば、前記パーティションタイプ情報を利用して、前記階層構造の符号化単位のうち一つである符号化単位に対して予測を行うための対称的予測単位または非対称的予測単位を決定する段階と、
前記非対称的パーティション情報によって非対称的パーティションが許容されなければ、前記パーティションタイプ情報を利用して、前記対称的予測単位を決定する段階と、
前記決定された予測単位を利用して、前記符号化単位に対する動き補償を行う段階を含み、
前記対称的予測単位は前記符号化単位の高さ及び幅のうち一つを半分したパーティション形態であり、前記非対称的予測単位は前記符号化単位の高さ及び幅のうち一つを1:3または3:1に分割して生成されたパーティション形態であり、
前記符号化単位の最大サイズに対する情報を利用して、前記映像は複数の最大符号化単位に分割され、
前記最大符号化単位は、前記分割情報に基づき、少なくとも1つの深度の符号化単位に階層的に分割され、
現在深度の符号化単位は、上位深度の符号化単位から分割された正四角データ単位のうち一つであり、
前記分割情報が前記現在深度で分割されることを示す場合、前記現在深度の符号化単位は周辺符号化単位と独立的に、下位深度の符号化単位に分割され、
前記分割情報が前記下位深度で分割されないことを示す場合、前記下位深度の符号化単位は少なくとも一つの予測単位に分割されることを特徴とするビデオ復号化方法。 - 前記パーティションタイプ情報は、前記符号化単位の高さ及び幅が半分された対称的パーティションタイプ2Nx2N、2NxN、Nx2N及びNxNと、1:3または3:1の比率に分割された非対称的パーティションタイプ2NxnU、2NxnD、nLx2N、nRx2Nのうちいずれか一つを示すことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のビデオ復号化方法。
- 前記非対称的パーティション情報によって非対称的パーティションが可能である時、前記パーティションタイプ情報は、2Nx2N、2NxN、Nx2N、NxN、2NxnU、2NxnD、nLx2N及びnRx2Nのうちいずれか一つを示し、
前記非対称的パーティション情報によって前記非対称的パーティションが不可能である時、前記パーティションタイプ情報は、2Nx2N、2NxN、Nx2N及びNxNのうちいずれか一つを示すことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のビデオ復号化方法。 - ビデオ復号化装置において、
符号化された映像に対するビットストリームからパーティションタイプが符号化単位を非対称的比率に分割するパーティションを含むかどうかを示す非対称的パーティション許容情報、前記パーティションの大きさ及び形態を示すパーティションタイプ情報、及び、符号化単位の分割情報、をパージングする受信部と、
前記非対称的パーティション情報によって非対称的パーティションが許容されれば、前記パーティションタイプ情報を利用して、階層構造の符号化単位のうち一つである符号化単位に対して予測を行うための対称的予測単位または非対称的予測単位を決定し、前記非対称的パーティション情報によって非対称的パーティションが許容されなければ、前記パーティションタイプ情報を利用して前記対称的予測単位を決定し、前記決定された予測単位を利用して前記符号化単位に対する動き補償を行う復号化部と、を備え、
前記対称的予測単位は、前記符号化単位の高さ及び幅のうち一つを半分したパーティション形態であり、前記非対称的予測単位は前記符号化単位の高さ及び幅のうち一つを1:3または3:1に分割して生成されたパーティション形態であり、
前記符号化単位の最大サイズに対する情報を利用して、前記映像は複数の最大符号化単位に分割され、
前記最大符号化単位は、前記分割情報に基づき、少なくとも1つの深度の符号化単位に階層的に分割され、
現在深度の符号化単位は、上位深度の符号化単位から分割された正四角データ単位のうち一つであり、
前記分割情報が前記現在深度で分割されることを示す場合、前記現在深度の符号化単位は周辺符号化単位と独立的に、下位深度の符号化単位に分割され、
前記分割情報が前記下位深度で分割されないことを示す場合、前記下位深度の符号化単位は少なくとも一つの予測単位に分割されることを特徴とするビデオ復号化装置。 - 前記パーティションタイプ情報は、前記符号化単位の高さまたは幅が半分された対称的パーティションタイプ2Nx2N、2NxN、Nx2N及びNxNと、1:3または3:1の比率に分割された非対称的パーティションタイプ2NxnU、2NxnD、nLx2N、nRx2Nのうちいずれか一つを示すことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のビデオ復号化装置。
- 前記非対称的パーティション情報によって非対称的パーティションが可能である時、前記パーティションタイプ情報は、2Nx2N, 2NxN, Nx2N, NxN, 2NxnU,
2NxnD, nLx2N及びnRx2Nのうちいずれか一つを示し、
前記非対称的パーティション情報によって前記非対称的パーティションが不可能である時、前記パーティションタイプ情報は、2Nx2N、2NxN、Nx2N及びNxNのうちいずれか一つを示すことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のビデオ復号化装置。
