Description
1)最初の容器から2番目の容器への切換のための時間間隔の間、拡張式チャンバーを作動させて液体流を蓄積させる段階、

3)流体先端を所定の位置に保つため拡張式チャンバーの作動を制御する段階、及び
4)蓄積した液体を2番目の容器に放出するため拡張式チャンバーを作動させる段階。
ただし、n1は600nmでのSFSの屈折率(=1.55)であり、n2は空気の屈折率(=1.00)又は緩衝液の屈折率(600nmでの水の屈折率=1.33)である。空気の場合のRは入射強度の4.6%であり、緩衝液の場合にはRは0.58%であるので、反射強度に約8倍の差がある。反射強度は、センサーファイバーを戻ってビームスプリッター51で集光ファイバー46へと導かれる。集光ファイバー46は光検出器40(例えばフォトダイオードなど)に光を誘導し、強度を測定する。

Claims (7)
- フラクションコレクターにおいて、ある回収容器から次の容器に切り換える際の液体流の画分回収時の液体の損失を防ぐ方法であって、
・ある回収容器から次の容器への切換のための時間間隔の間、拡張式チャンバーを作動させて液体流を蓄積させる段階と、
・分取ノズルにおける流体先端を位置検出する段階と、
・流体先端を所定の位置に保つため拡張式チャンバーの作動を制御する段階と、
・拡張式チャンバーを作動させて蓄積した液体を次の容器に放出する段階と
を含む方法。 - 拡張式チャンバー(34)を備える液体保持手段(31)と、
前記チャンバー(34)と流体連通した分取ノズル(5)と、
前記ノズル(5)における流体先端を検出するための流体先端センサーと、
流体先端を前記ノズル(5)の所定の位置に保つように液体保持手段(31)を制御するように構成された流体先端制御装置(43)と
を備えるフラクションコレクター。 - 前記流体先端センサーが光学式流体先端検出器(40)を備える、請求項2記載のフラクションコレクター。
- 前記光学式流体先端検出器(40)が、ノズル(5)で流体経路を横切るように光を向ける光源(44)と、光を受光するように構成された光学検出器(40)とを備える、請求項3記載のフラクションコレクター。
- 前記光源(44)及び光学式流体先端検出器(40)が、ノズル(5)の中心に対して軸外に配置される、請求項4記載のフラクションコレクター。
- 前記光学式流体先端検出器(40)が、分取ノズル(5)での流体経路内に終端面(52)が配置された光センサーファイバー(50)に光を結合するように構成された光源(44’)と、端面(52)からの反射強度を記録するように構成された光学検出器(40)とを備える、請求項3記載のフラクションコレクター。
- 前記流体先端センサーが導電率式流体先端検出器(40)を備える、請求項2記載のフラクションコレクター。
