米国特許第6,245,102号明細書は、第一のステントの遠位側の頂点が第二のステントの近位側の頂点に隣接する、隣接する複数のステントを有するステントグラフト部材を開示する。

本発明は概して、病状を治療するために体内の管で使用されるステントに関する。特に、本発明は、対向する湾曲した頂点の組を有し、一組の頂点の湾曲した部分が他の組の頂点の湾曲した部分よりも大きな曲率半径を有し、従来のステントよりも小さい外形を呈してもよい、新規な非対称のステントに関する。より小さい外形は、特にねじれたまたは小径の導管に関する患者内での使用のために、利点を呈する。

- 前記第一のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径、および、前記第二のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の少なくとも一方は、4mm〜9mmである、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第一のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径、および、前記第二のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の少なくとも一方は1mmであり、前記第一のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径、および、前記第二のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の少なくとも一方は6mmである、請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第一のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径に対する前記第一のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の比、および、前記第二のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径に対する前記第二のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の比は、1:2.6〜1:18である、請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 略連続する複数の近位側の頂点と遠位側の頂点とを備え、その外面は円錐台を規定する、請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第一のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つは、前記第一の曲線部から離れて配置された第一の丸みと第二の丸みとを備え、前記第一の丸みは第一の丸み曲率半径を有し、前記第二の丸みは第二の丸み曲率半径を有する、請求項1から請求項8のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第一の丸み曲率半径と前記第二の丸み曲率半径との各々は1mmの曲率半径を有し、前記第二の曲線部は0.5mmの曲率半径を有する、請求項9に記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第一および第二の丸み曲率半径に対する前記第二の曲線部の曲率半径の比は、1:1〜1:10である、請求項9または10に記載のステントグラフト部材。
- グラフトをさらに備え、前記第一のステントの遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つは一つ以上の縫合糸を使用して前記グラフトに取り付けられる、請求項1から請求項11のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第一のステントは、前記曲線部と前記直線部とを有し略円筒を規定する金属線を含み、
前記第一のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径、および、前記第二のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の少なくとも一方は1mmであり、
前記第一のステントの前記近位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径、および、前記第二のステントの前記遠位側の頂点の少なくとも一つの曲率半径の少なくとも一方は6mmである、請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。 - 前記近位側の頂点の外周は、前記遠位側の頂点の外周よりも大きい、請求項1または請求項2に記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 少なくとも一つの分枝ステント、グラフト、またはその組合せをさらに備え、その一部は少なくとも前記第一のステントの近位側の頂点の内径を横に経由して配置される、請求項1から請求項14のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
- 前記第二のステントの前記近位側の頂点は、前記第一のステントの前記遠位側の頂点から軸方向に間隔を空けられている、請求項1から請求項15のいずれかに記載のステントグラフト部材。
