Claims (8)
- 可燃性燃料を燃焼させてシンガスを発生する燃焼室(14)と、
前記燃焼室(14)の下流側に配置された液体クーラント(32)を有する冷却チャンバ(16)と、
前記燃焼室(14)を前記冷却チャンバ(16)に結合し、前記燃焼室(14)からのシンガスを前記冷却チャンバ(16)に送って前記液体クーラント(32)に接触させ、冷却シンガスを生成するよう構成される浸漬管(38)と、
前記浸漬管(38)を囲繞するドラフト管(46)であってそれらの間に冷却シンガスが上向きの方向に流れる環状通路(50)を画成するドラフト管(46)と、
前記冷却チャンバ(16)の出口通路(52)に近接して配置され、前記環状通路(50)を通って前記出口通路(52)に送られる冷却シンガスから同伴液体含有物を除去するよう構成される液体分離器(54)と
を備え、
前記液体分離器(54)が、前記浸漬管(38)に結合し、フィンの1以上の列を備え、冷却シンガスの流れを下向きの方向に向け直すデフレクタ(56)を含み、
前記デフレクタ(56)の少なくとも一部が、前記出口通路(52)よりも低い位置に配置され、
前記列の各々が、各列の円周方向に沿って互いに間隔を置いて配置され、各フィンが前記円周の接線方向に対して角度を持つように位置づけられた複数のフィンを備える、
ガス化装置(10)。 - 前記冷却チャンバ(16)がガス化装置(10)用クエンチチャンバを備える、請求項1記載のガス化装置(10)。
- 前記冷却チャンバ(16)が洗浄機を含む、請求項1または2に記載のガス化装置(10)。
- 前記デフレクタ(56)が前記環状通路(50)から冷却シンガスの流れを向け直すよう構成される、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載のガス化装置(10)。
- 前記複数のフィン(58)が、前記環状通路(50)を通って前記出口通路(52)に送られる冷却シンガスから同伴液体含有物を除去するよう構成される、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のガス化装置(10)。
- 前記液体分離器(54)が円錐形ファセット又は円形の分離器を含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載のガス化装置(10)。
- 前記液体分離器(54)が、前記円錐形ファセット又は円形の分離器に設けられた複数のバッフル要素(106、114)であって前記環状通路(50)を通って前記出口通路(52)に送られる冷却シンガスから同伴液体含有物を除去するよう構成される複数のバッフル要素(106、114)を含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のガス化装置(10)。
- 前記非対称性又は対称性液体分離器(54)が、互いに隣接するバッフル要素(106、114)間にチャンネル(108)を含んでいて、該チャンネル(108)が前記除去された同伴液体を流出させるよう構成される、請求項7記載のガス化装置(10)。
