Description
Claims (6)
- エンジン(32)の駆動力で交流発電を行う発電機(70)と、該発電機(70)の発電電力によって充電されるバッテリ(17)と、該バッテリ(17)を正接続した際に前記バッテリ(17)の正極ターミナル(17a)に接続されるプラス端子(64)および前記バッテリ(17)の負極ターミナル(17b)に接続されるマイナス端子(61)とを有する車両(1)に適用され、
前記発電機(70)と前記プラス端子(64)との間に介装されて前記発電機(70)と前記バッテリ(17)間の結線のオンオフをサイリスタ(96)のオンオフによって切り替えるスイッチング回路部(90)と、前記発電機(70)から前記バッテリ(17)に供給される電流を制御するために前記サイリスタ(96)にオン信号を出力する充電制御信号線(82)と、前記バッテリ(17)の電力を用いずに前記エンジン(32)をクランキングさせるクランキング手段(71,72)とを有する車両(1)に適用される充電制御装置において、
前記バッテリ(17)の前記正極ターミナル(17a)に前記マイナス端子(61)が接続されると共に前記負極ターミナル(17b)に前記プラス端子(64)が接続された逆接続時に、前記オン信号を無効にするオン信号無効化回路部(80)を具備することを特徴とする充電制御装置。 - 前記オン信号無効化回路部(80)は、前記バッテリ(17)の前記正極ターミナル(17a)に前記プラス端子(64)が接続されると共に前記負極ターミナル(17b)に前記マイナス端子(61)が接続された正接続時に開状態となり、かつ前記バッテリ(17)の逆接続時に閉状態となるスイッチング手段(81)を含み、
前記スイッチング手段(81)は、前記充電制御信号線(82)から分岐して前記プラス端子(64)に接続されるバイパス回路部(97)に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の充電制御装置。 - 前記スイッチング手段(81)は、前記バッテリ(17)が逆接続されると前記バッテリ(17)のマイナス電位によって閉状態となり、一方、前記バッテリ(17)が正接続されると開状態を保つように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の充電制御装置。
- 前記スイッチング手段(81)は、前記充電制御信号線(82)に接続されたコレクタ(81C)と、前記プラス端子(64)に接続されたエミッタ(81E)と、ダイオード(77)を介してアース接続されるベース(81B)とを有するトランジスタであり、
前記ベース(81B)と前記エミッタ(81E)とが所定の抵抗(79)を介して接続されると共に、前記ベース(81B)に前記ダイオード(77)のカソードが接続されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の充電制御装置。 - 前記クランキング手段(71)は、前記エンジン(32)に取り付けられたキックペダル(35)を含むキックスタータであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の充電制御装置。
- 前記クランキング手段(72)は、前記エンジン(32)の回転駆動力を、少なくとも変速機(73)を介して車両の駆動輪(WR)に伝達する駆動力伝達経路であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の充電制御装置。
