Description
包装フィルムとして試料1〜7を形成した。プロピレン(PP)およびブテン/エチレンコモノマー含量を表1に示す。粘度はレオメータを用い、せん断をほぼゼロとして200℃で測定した。フィルムは二軸押出機でポリマー成分を溶融させ、次いでそれを冷ロールで厚み1.5ミル(mil)に流延することにより形成した。フィルムの混和性は約10,000グラムの非晶質ポリα−オレフィン接着剤(Henkel社のDISPOMELT(登録商標)LITE 300)を(接着剤に対し)約0.5wt%のフィルム試料と溶融タンク中で160℃で溶融することによって評価した。撹拌せずにフィルム試料を接着剤中に溶融するために必要な時間を記録した。試料8では、さらに、酢酸ビニル含量3%EVAフィルムのブローフィルムを本検討のために用いた。
試料フィルムの溶融強度を評価するため、試料フィルムの溶融温度および溶融弾性率の特性を評価した。その結果を表2に示す。融点は2920DSC(示差走査熱量測定法)TA装置によって測定した。約5〜10mgの試料をクリンプしたアルミナパン内にシールし、−40℃に冷却し、2920 DSC TA装置によって10℃/分の速度で180℃まで再加熱した。第2の加熱サイクルを用いて、ピーク融点およびTmオフセット値を評価した。
試料4〜8について、その噴霧性を分析した。約10,000gのDISPOMELT LITE(登録商標)Lite 300接着剤の試料を厚み約1.5ミルの試料フィルムでカプセル化した。160℃に設定した熱溶融タンクに、試料4〜6については3時間(試料7については10時間、試料8については24時間)、パッケージを装填した。次いで溶融した接着剤を4ポートのITWスプレーヘッド(Nordson)から噴霧し、1分あたりの迷走(stray)滴数を表3に記録した。それぞれの試料フィルムのTmオフセットも表3に記録する。
種々のホットメルト接着剤(1,000g)および包装フィルム(ホットメルト接着剤に対して0.5wt%)を用いたホットメルト接着剤パッケージを形成した。これらを、表4に列挙する。それぞれのパッケージを熱溶融タンクに装填し、撹拌せずに、表示した温度に加熱した。ホットメルト接着剤中のフィルムの混和性を目視により観察した。また、フィルム試料が完全に溶解し、接着剤中に混和するために必要な時間を記録した。
Claims (10)
- ポリマーブレンドを含むホットメルト包装フィルムであって、
ポリマーブレンドは、少なくとも70wt%のプロピレン含量を有し、
包装フィルムは、(a)200℃における粘度範囲が200,000〜3,000,000cpsであり、(b)ピーク溶融温度範囲が90〜140℃であり、(c)Tmオフセット温度が149℃未満であり、(d)100℃における貯蔵弾性率(G’)の範囲が1×106 〜1×108パスカルである、ホットメルト包装フィルム。 - 抗ブロッキング剤、抗酸化剤、流れ調整剤、充填剤、染料およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の包装フィルム。
- ポリマーブレンド中の少なくとも1種のポリマーが、メタロセン触媒によるポリプロピレンポリマーである、請求項1に記載の包装フィルム。
- 請求項1に記載の包装フィルムを含む物品。

を有する、請求項7に記載の一体型ホットメルト接着剤パッケージ。 - ホットメルト接着剤が、ポリ−α−オレフィン、オレフィンブロックコポリマーまたはスチレン系ブロック−コポリマーをベースとする接着剤である、請求項5に記載の一体型ホットメルト接着剤パッケージ。
- 一体型ホットメルト接着剤パッケージを形成する方法であって、
1.包装フィルムをカプセル化容器として用意するステップと、
2.溶融状態のホットメルト接着剤を包装フィルムにポンプ注入し、または注ぐステップであって、包装フィルムが150℃以下の温度でヒートシンクと直接接触するステップと、
3.包装フィルムをシールするステップと、
4.シールパッケージを冷却するステップと、
を含み、
包装フィルムは、少なくとも70wt%のプロピレンを含むポリマーブレンドを含み、包装フィルムは、(a)200℃における粘度範囲が200,000〜3,000,000cpsであり、(b)ピーク溶融温度範囲が90〜140℃であり、(c)Tmオフセット温度が149℃未満であり、(d)100℃における貯蔵弾性率(G’)の範囲が1×106から1×108パスカルであり、
ホットメルト接着剤がポリ−α−オレフィン、ゴム、スチレン系ブロックコ−ポリマー、エチレン−酢酸ビニル、エチレン−酢酸ブチル、およびそれらの混合物からなる群から選択され、
冷却されたシールパッケージが非粘着性である、
