Description

第1の局面において、この発明は、コア層と、空気軸受面に近接する端部とを有する導波管と、互いに磁気的に結合され、導波管の両側に位置決めされる第1および第2の磁極とを含み、第1の磁極は、導波管から間隔を置かれた第1の部分、および第1の部分から空気軸受面に向かって延在する第2の部分を含み、第2の部分は、第2の部分の端部が第1の部分より導波管のコア層に近いように、構造化され、さらに、第1の磁極の第2の部分に近接して位置決めされるヒートシンクを含む、装置を提供する。
この発明は、熱に補助される磁気記録に使用されるさまざまな装置を包含する。図1は、この発明のさまざまな局面に従って構築された記録ヘッドを利用することができるディスクドライブ10の形式のデータ記憶装置の表現図である。ディスクドライブ10は、ディスクドライブのさまざまな構成要素を含むようサイズ決めされ構成されたハウジング12(この図においては、上部は取除かれ、下部が可視である)を含む。ディスクドライブ10は、ハウジング内で少なくとも1つの磁気記憶媒体16を回転させるためにスピンドルモータ14を含む。少なくとも1つのアーム18がハウジング12内に含まれ、各アーム18は、記録ヘッドまたはスライダ22を有する第1の端部20と、軸受26によってシャフト上で旋回可能に取り付けられる第2の端部24とを有する。アクチュエータモータ28はアーム18の旋回のためにアームの第2の端部24に位置して、ディスク16の所望のセクタまたはトラック27上に記録ヘッド22を位置決めする。アクチュエータモータ28はコントローラによって規制される。コントローラはこの図においては示されず、当該技術分野において周知である。
Claims (7)
- コア層と、空気軸受面に近接する端部とを有する導波管と、
互いに磁気的に結合され、前記導波管の両側に位置決めされる第1および第2の磁極とを含み、前記第1の磁極は、前記導波管から間隔を置かれた第1の部分、および前記第1の部分から前記空気軸受面に向かって延在する第2の部分を含み、前記第2の部分は、前記第2の部分の端部が前記第1の部分より前記導波管の前記コア層に近いように、構造化され、さらに、
前記導波管の焦点に近接して位置決めされる近接場変換器と、
前記近接場変換器と前記第1の磁極の前記第2の部分との間に位置決めされるヒートシンクとを含み、
前記近接場変換器は、ディスク、および前記ディスクと前記空気軸受面との間に位置決めされるペグを含み、前記ヒートシンクは前記ディスクと接触する、装置。 - 前記ヒートシンクと前記ディスクとの間のコンタクトの領域は、前記ディスクの縁部から間隔を置かれる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒートシンクは金属を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒートシンクは熱的に伝導性の誘電材料を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ヒートシンクは多層構造を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
