Description
Claims (11)
- カニューレの末端に配設された切除ポートを有する硝子体切除プローブと、
前記切除ポートの近傍にて終端すると共に、前記カニューレに隣接して且つ該カニューレを囲繞するように該カニューレの回りで円周方向に配置されるという光ファイバの配列とを備え、
前記光ファイバの配列は、
前記カニューレの長手軸心に沿う方向に照明を提供すべく構成された端部照明用の光ファイバ配列と、
前記カニューレの長手軸心に対して所定角度となる方向に照明を提供すべく構成された角度照明用の光ファイバ配列であって、各光ファイバは、前記切除ポートに近接する部分であって、所望の角度の光を放出すべく、所望の箇所および所望の形態にてクラッドが選択的に除去された部分を有するという角度照明用の光ファイバ配列とを備える、
照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。 - 前記光ファイバの配列およびカニューレは、23ゲージ以下のサイズを有するトロカール・カニューレに貫通適合すべく構成される、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 複数の光ファイバを前記硝子体切除プローブの前記カニューレに対して保持する埋込み用物質を更に備える、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 複数の光ファイバを前記硝子体切除プローブの前記カニューレに対して保持するスリーブを更に備える、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 前記光ファイバの配列が貫通通過する開口を有するハウジングであって、前記カニューレに対して取付けられるというハウジングを更に備える、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- レーザ光源から手術部位に対してレーザ光を提供すべく構成された眼内レーザ・ファイバを更に備える、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 前記眼内レーザ・ファイバは前記カニューレを同軸的に貫通して延在する、請求項6に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 前記端部照明用配列、前記角度照明用配列、および、前記眼内レーザ・ファイバに対し、任意の組合せで独立的に照明用の光を提供し得る、請求項6に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 前記光ファイバの配列は、前記切除ポートの近傍において前記カニューレの回りに円形パターンで配設される、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 前記光ファイバの配列の端部を光源に対して結合する継手を更に備える、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
- 前記端部照明用の光ファイバ配列あるいは前記角度照明用の光ファイバ配列に対して、協働的または単一的に光を提供しうるように独立的に制御される光源を更に備える、請求項1に記載の照明式の硝子体切除プローブ。
