Description
Claims (21)
- 外表面を含むハウジングと、
ハウジング内に収容されるモータであって、ハウジングの一端に配置された器具を駆動するように構成されたことにより熱を発生させ、第1の端部、第2の端部、および側壁を備えるモータと、
流体を流すように構成されたモータの少なくとも一部に沿って延在する通路と、
モータと通路との間に配置される熱伝導パッドとを備え、
熱伝導パッドが、モータの側壁を部分的に覆い、熱伝導パッドの熱伝導率が空気の熱伝導率よりも高い熱伝導率を有することにより、モータから通路の流体へ熱を流れやすくする、医療用ハンドピース。 - 熱伝導パッドが、外表面の少なくとも一部の温度を規定の上限温度未満に維持するために熱量を流体に伝達するように構成された、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 規定の上限温度が、26.7℃〜48.9℃である、請求項2に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱伝導パッドが、1.0W/m・K〜3.50W/m・Kの範囲の熱伝導率を有する、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱伝導パッドが、ガラス繊維強化シリコーンゲルを備える、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 医療用ハンドピースが、関節鏡用シェーバである、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 通路が、モータのケーシングの全長に沿って延在する、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 通路が、医療用ハンドピースのハウジングと一体である、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 医療用ハンドピースが関節鏡用シェーバであり、器具は刃を備える、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱伝導パッドが、モータと通路の両方に接触する、請求項1に記載のハンドピース。
- 内表面および外表面を有するハウジングと、
側壁を有するモータであって、ハウジング内に配置され、工具を動作させるように構成されたことにより熱を発生させるモータと、
内表面と側壁とによって少なくとも部分的に画定される空間であって、一定量の熱流体を含む空間と、
潅注流体を流すように構成されたルーメンと、
空間に配置されかつモータの側壁を部分的に覆う熱パッドとを備え、熱パッドは、空気の熱伝導率より高い熱伝導率を有することによりモータから熱パッドへ熱を流れやすくし、熱パッドは、医療用ハンドピースの外表面の少なくとも一部の温度を規定温度未満に維持するために熱量をルーメンに伝達するように構成された、医療用ハンドピース。 - 規定温度が、48.9℃である、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
- ルーメンの少なくとも一部が、ハウジング内に配置される、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱パッドが、1.0W/m・K〜3.50W/m・Kの範囲の熱伝導率を有する、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱パッドが、ガラス繊維強化シリコーンゲルを備える、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
- 医療用ハンドピースの一部の温度を制御する方法であって、
器具を駆動するように構成されたことにより熱を発生させるモータ、および流体を流すように構成された通路を有するハウジングを配設するステップと、
モータと通路との間にかつモータの側壁を部分的に覆って熱伝導パッドを配設するステップとを含み、
熱伝導パッドの熱伝導率が空気の熱伝導率よりも高い熱伝導率であることにより、モータから通路へ熱を流れやすくし、熱伝導パッドが、ハンドピースの通常動作時に医療用ハンドピースの少なくとも一部の温度を最高温度未満に維持するために、熱量を通路に伝達するように構成された方法。 - 熱パッドが、1.0W/m・K〜3.50W/m・Kの範囲の熱伝導率を有する、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 熱パッドが、ガラス繊維強化シリコーンゲルを備える、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 熱流体を含む空間が、通路から離間される、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱流体が、空気を含む、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
- 熱パッドが、熱流体を含む空間の厚みと等しいまたは熱流体を含む空間の厚みよりわずかに大きい厚みを有する、請求項11に記載のハンドピース。
