Description
Claims (15)
- 排気ガス浄化装置を有する自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法であって、酸化触媒コンバータ(34)と微粒子フィルタ(35)とSCR触媒コンバータを含み、ディーゼルエンジン(1)から排出される排気ガスは、前記微粒子フィルタ(35)と前記SCR触媒コンバータを通過する前に、前記酸化触媒コンバータ(34)に誘導される自動車用ディーゼルエンジン(1)の運転方法において、
前記微粒子フィルタ(35)の再生は煤を時々加熱燃焼させて行われ、前記微粒子フィルタ(35)の再生が実行されている間には、前記ディーゼルエンジン(1)は、ラムダ値(λ)の目標値として1.0の空燃比で運転され、排気ガスには前記酸化触媒コンバータ(34)を出た後に、かつ前記微粒子フィルタ(35)に入る前に空気が混合され、前記微粒子フィルタ(35)に堆積した煤の燃焼を可能とし、
前記ラムダ値(λ)を設定するために、始めに空燃比のインプット値としてλ=1.10からλ=1.15の間の範囲が設定され、次にラムダ値(λ)の下限をλ=0.95からλ=0.98、上限をλ=1.0からλ=1.05とする値の間の範囲で、空燃比がフィードバックコントロールして設定される
ことを特徴とする自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。 - 空気の混合は前記ディーゼルエンジンの吸入流路から空気の分岐を通して、ターボチャージャによって行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 前記微粒子フィルタ(35)の再生の間に、前記微粒子フィルタ(35)に堆積した煤を、あらかじめ設定可能な速度で燃焼する流量の空気が混合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 前記混合空気の量が、前記微粒子フィルタ(35)に堆積した煤があらかじめ設定可能な速度で燃焼するように、前記微粒子フィルタの下流に配置された温度センサで調節して設定されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 前記混合空気の量が、前記微粒子フィルタ(35)に堆積した煤があらかじめ設定可能な速度で燃焼するように、前記微粒子フィルタの下流に配置されたラムダセンサで調節して設定されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 酸化触媒コンバータ(34)には三元触媒層が用いられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 微粒子フィルタの再生が行われていない間には、前記ディーゼルエンジン(1)は、ディーゼルエンジンに特有の空気過剰状態で運転され、排気ガスには前記SCR触媒コンバータを通過する前にアンモニア及び/又はアンモニアを分離できる機能を持つ還元剤が添加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 排気管からの窒素酸化物の排出が、あらかじめ設定可能な量を超えたと判定された場合、前記ディーゼルエンジンの運転が、通常のディーゼルエンジン特有の空気過剰から、前記ラムダ値(λ)の目標値での運転に切り替えられることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 排気ガスは前記微粒子フィルタ(35)を通過する前に及び/又は後に前記SCR触媒コンバータに誘導されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 排気ガスがSCR触媒コンバータとしての前記微粒子フィルタ(35)の層に誘導されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 排気ガスがウォールフローフィルタとして形成された微粒子フィルタに誘導され、該微粒子フィルタの流路の少なくとも下流部にはSCR材料の層が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 排気ガスがウォールフローフィルタで形成された微粒子フィルタに誘導され、該微粒子フィルタの流路の軸方向前方部分にはSCR材料の層が形成され、該微粒子フィルタの軸方向後方部分には層が形成されていないか、もしくは酸化触媒として作用する層が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 前記ディーゼルエンジンは、排気ガスリサイクル無し、または、高圧排気ガスリサイクルまたは低圧排気ガスリサイクル、または、高圧排気ガスリサイクルと低圧排気ガスリサイクルの両方、のいずれかを選択して運転されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 前記ディーゼルエンジンは高圧排気ガスリサイクルと低圧排気ガスリサイクルで運転され、全体の排気ガスリサイクル流量における低圧部分は、前記微粒子フィルタの下流に配置された排気ガス堰止めバルブによって調節されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
- 前記微粒子フィルタ(35)の再生の間、高圧排気ガスリサイクルの割合は零まで減少されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の自動車用ディーゼルエンジンの運転方法。
