Description

本明細書に説明される実施形態は、具体的には、動脈瘤内において所与の段階に対して配備される場合、この段階のサイズが、送達システムによる最終配備におけるインプラントの最終サイズおよび構成を表すように設計される。いくつかの利点が、そのようなシステムと関連して達成されることができる。そのような利点の1つは、可能となる独特なインプラント/送達システム相互作用を前提として、送達プロファイルおよび/または複雑性を最小限にする機会を伴う。別の利点は、所与の送達プロファイルに対して、より大きなインプラントサイズを提供する機会を伴う。なおも別の一式の利点は、拡張されたインプラント再捕捉の容易性とともに、関連付けられた手技および患者安全性利点を伴う。全体として、本発明の側面(単独および/または相互に組み合わせて)は、神経血管動脈瘤治療のために、あるいは他の血管、嚢状腔、または管腔欠陥を治療するために、新しい、かつ有用なシステムを提供する。
前述で参照したように、主題のインプラント構造は、単層編組式ボール型インプラントまたは二重層LUNAタイプ(折畳/平坦)アプローチにおいて採用され得る。図7A−7Dは、後者における製造の側面を図示する。さらなる詳細は、各々、参照することによって、全体として組み込まれる、出願第12/465,475号および第12/942,209号ならびに第PCT/US2009/041313号および第PCT/US2010/56051号を参照して理解され得る。

Claims (11)
- 動脈瘤治療システムであって、

前記プッシャおよび前記インプラントのうちの少なくとも1つは、インプラント近位ハブマーカを備え、
前記インプラント近位ハブマーカが前記カテーテルの前記近位基準マーカと整列された場合、前記インプラントは、中間の段階にあり、前記インプラントの球状部分は、前記カテーテルから配備され、
前記インプラント近位ハブマーカが前記カテーテルの前記遠位マーカと整列された場合、前記インプラントは、最終の段階にあり、前記インプラントは、前記カテーテルから配備され、
前記中間の段階における前記インプラントは、前記最終の段階における前記インプラントの高さとほぼ同じ高さを有する、システム。 - 前記球状部分は、前記中間の段階において、涙滴形状を有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
