Description
(A)メタロセン系ポリプロピレン。
(B)融点が137〜160℃のポリプロピレン系材料。

本発明で使用する、メタロセン系触媒で重合されたポリプロピレン(メタロセン系ポリプロピレン)(A)は、メタロセン系触媒で重合していない通常のポリプロピレン(ホモポリプロピレン、ランダムポリプロピレン、ブロックポリプロピレン等)に比べて、高衝撃性と柔軟性に優れている。
なお、上記比重は、ISO 1183に基づく値である(以下、同様)。
上記特定のポリプロピレン系材料(B)は、融点137〜160℃であるが、好ましくは137〜159℃の範囲である。ポリプロピレン系材料の融点が低すぎると、メタロセン系ポリプロピレン(A)の耐熱性を改善する効果がなく、融点が高すぎると、高速引張伸びが劣る。
上記内層用材料としては、燃料で溶解せず、しかもAssy部で抜けない強度を有し、外層(樹脂層)の特定のポリプロピレン系材料(B)と非接着性である点から、ポリアミド樹脂等の耐燃料性樹脂が好ましい。
上記ポリアミド樹脂としては、例えば、ポリアミド6(PA6)、ポリアミド46(PA46)、ポリアミド66(PA66)、ポリアミド92(PA92)、ポリアミド99(PA99)、ポリアミド610(PA610)、ポリアミド612(PA612)、ポリアミド1010(PA1010)、ポリアミド11(PA11)、ポリアミド912(PA912)、ポリアミド12(PA12)、ポリアミド6とポリアミド66との共重合体(PA6/66)、ポリアミド6とポリアミド12との共重合体(PA6/12)、芳香族系ナイロン等があげられる。これらは単独であるいは2種以上併せて用いられる。これらのなかでも、より燃料の低透過性と柔軟性に優れることから、ポリアミド11もしくはポリアミド12が好ましい。
本発明のフューエルチューブの総厚みは、0.5〜3.2mmの範囲が好ましく、特に好ましくは1.0〜3.2mmの範囲である。
まず、実施例および比較例に先立ち、下記に示す樹脂層用材料を準備した。

関東化学社製、N,N,N−トリメチル−N−プロピルアンモニウム ビス(トリフルオロメタンスルホニル)イミド
強制サイドフィダー付きの2軸押出機(日本製鋼社製、TEX30α)を準備し、まず、メタロセン系PP(A1)95部と、ポリプロピレン系材料(B1)5部と、酸化防止剤1部とを押出成形し、ペレットを作製した。つぎに、チューブ押出機(プラスチック工学研究所製、GT−40)にコルゲータ(コルマー社製)を接続し、チューブの中央部に蛇腹構造を形成した。このようにして、中央部が蛇腹部に形成され、両端部がストレート部に形成された、単層構造のフューエルインレットパイプを作製した。
樹脂層用材料を、下記の表1もしくは表2に示す組み合わせに変更する以外は、実施例1に準じてフューエルチューブを作製した。
樹脂層の内周面に内層(内面層、外面層)を形成した三層構造のフューエルインレットパイプを作製した。すなわち、樹脂層用材料として、下記の表1に示すように、メタロセン系PP(A1)95部と、ポリプロピレン系材料(B3)5部と、酸化防止剤1部とを押出成形し、ペレットを作製した。また、内層(内面層)用材料としてETFE(旭硝子社製、Fluon AH2000)、および内層(外面層)用材料としてPA12(宇部興産社製、UBESTA 3035JU3)を準備した。そして、これら材料を用い、多層チューブ押出機(プラスチック工学研究所製、GT−40)にコルゲータ(コルマー社製)を接続し、三層構造でチューブの中央部に蛇腹構造を形成した。このようにして、中央部が蛇腹部に形成され、両端部がストレート部に形成された、三層構造のフューエルインレットパイプを作製した。
各フューエルチューブを、高速引張試験機(IMATEK社製、IM100)にセットし、常態時(20℃)に高速引張試験(13m/s)を行い、伸びを測定した。評価は、伸びが300%以上(>300)のものを○、伸びが300%未満のものを×とした。
JIS K6271に準拠し、円形電極の間で電気抵抗率を測定する二重リング測定法で体積抵抗率を測定した。測定は、500Vを電極間に印加した後、1分後に実施した。
各フューエルチューブを130℃の恒温老化槽に2時間入れて耐熱試験を行い、溶融の有無を目視により確認した。評価は、完全に形状を保持したものを○、形状が歪んだものや、溶融したものを×とした。

Claims (2)
- 少なくとも1つの樹脂層を備えた樹脂製フューエルチューブであって、上記樹脂層が、下記の(A)および(B)を含有し、上記(A)と(B)との重量混合比が〔(A)/(B)〕=95/5〜50/50の範囲である樹脂組成物からなり、上記(B)からなる結晶組織(X)間に、上記(A)からなる軟質組織(Y)が入り込んだ構造を有することを特徴とする樹脂製フューエルチューブ。
(A)メタロセン系ポリプロピレン。
(B)融点が137〜160℃のポリプロピレン系材料。 - 樹脂層を形成する樹脂組成物が、イオン性液体を含有する請求項1記載の樹脂製フューエルチューブ。
