Description
1)色素上皮レベル内部における老廃物の蓄積は、一生を通じて幼児期から出発して発生する。
2)この老廃物を処理するための網膜の代謝活性及び能力は、典型的には年齢と共に減少する。
3)黄斑色素は、典型的には人が年をとるにつれて減少し、それ故より少量の青色光しか濾光除去(filtering out)しなくなる。
4)青色光はリポフスチンが毒性になることを引き起こす。
5)得られる毒性により、色素上皮細胞が損傷される。

Claims (26)
- レンズと複数層とを有する眼用レンズシステムであって、
該層の一つは400〜460nmの範囲内の光毒性光を選択的に抑制しながら、その範囲外の可視光波長の透過に殆ど又は全く影響を与えないように構成された第一光学的フィルターエレメントを含み、
該システムは暗所視照度を15%未満だけ低減し、明所視照度を15%未満だけ低減する、
眼用レンズシステム。 - 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが5%未満だけ暗所視照度を低減し、3%未満だけ明所視照度を低減する請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが吸収性である請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが反射性である請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが吸収性と反射性とを組み合わせて有する請求項3に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターが被覆、フィルム、誘電性積層体、及び染料から成る群から選択されるいずれか一つである請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一吸収性光学的フィルターエレメントが400〜475nmの範囲内の可視青色光を吸収する請求項3に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが420nm及び460nmの間の光をフィルターにかける請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一反射性光学的フィルターエレメントが400〜475nmの範囲内の可視青色光を反射する請求項4に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが80%未満の光毒性率を提供する請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが70%未満の光毒性率を提供する請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが60%未満の光毒性率を提供する請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが10%以下だけ暗所視発光透過率を低減する請求項1、3〜12のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントが5%以下だけ暗所視発光透過率を低減する請求項1、3〜13のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 色調和成分を更に有する請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターが400nm〜460nmの範囲内の青色光を5%だけ抑制する請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターが400nm〜460nmの範囲内の青色光を10%だけ抑制する請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターが400nm〜460nmの範囲内の青色光を15%だけ抑制する請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターが400nm〜460nmの範囲内の青色光を20%だけ抑制する請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターが400nm〜460nmの範囲内の青色光を30%だけ抑制する請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記眼用レンズが吸収及び反射を利用して青色光をフィルターにかける請求項1に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- レンズと複数層とを有する眼用レンズシステムであって、
該層の一つは400〜460nmの範囲内の光毒性光を選択的に抑制しながら、その範囲外の可視光波長の透過に殆ど又は全く影響を与えないように構成された第一光学的フィルターエレメントを含み、
該システムは暗所視照度を15%未満だけ低減し、
該層の一つは該第一光学的フィルターエレメントの上に適用され、該第一光学的フィルターエレメントによって引き起こされるカラーシフトを調和する染料を含有する反射防止被覆である、
眼用レンズシステム。 - 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントと組み合わせた前記反射防止被覆は400〜460nmの範囲内の光毒性の青色及び紫色の光抑制を増大させ、暗所視照度及び明所視照度を増大させる請求項22に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 前記第一光学的フィルターエレメントと反射防止被覆の間に耐擦傷性ハードコートを更に有する請求項22に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 該システムによって引き起こされるいずれかのマンセルカラーシステムタイルのD65発光体下における最大カラーシフトが、CIE(L*,a*,b*)色空間における20丁度可知差異(JND)単位以下である、請求項1から請求項21のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
- 該システムによって引き起こされるいずれかのマンセルカラーシステムタイルのD65発光体下における平均カラーシフトが、CIE(L*,a*,b*)色空間における12丁度可知差異(JND)単位以下である、請求項1から請求項21のいずれか一項に記載の眼用レンズシステム。
