Description
Claims (5)
- セルラーセラミック物品を製造する方法において、
バインダー材料及び複数のチャネルを含む未焼成のセルラーセラミック体を提供する工程と、
前記複数のチャネルの少なくとも1つを未焼成のコーティング組成物及び溶媒を含むスラリーでコーティングして前記複数のチャネルの少なくとも1つの上にコーティング層を形成する工程と、
を含み、前記バインダー材料が前記溶媒に不溶性であり、前記複数のチャネルのうちの少なくとも1つが前記スラリーでコーティングされる際に閉塞されず、前記コーティングが前記複数のチャネルの少なくとも1つにおいてその全長に亘っていることを特徴とする、方法。 - 前記溶媒が、アルコール、エステルアルコール、エステル、炭化水素、アルデヒド、ケトン、及びカルボン酸のうちの少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記溶媒が、メタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、ペンタノール、及びヘキサノールからなる群から選択される、少なくとも1つの第1級、第2級、又は第3級のアルコールを含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記未焼成のセルラーセラミック体が、焼成すると反応して、チタン酸アルミニウム(AT)、金属、金属間化合物、ムライト、コージライト、アルミナ(Al2O3)、炭化ケイ素(SiC)、窒化ケイ素(Si3N4)、酸窒化ケイ素アルミニウム(SiAlON)、及びゼオライトからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種の材料を形成する、少なくとも1つの材料を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- バインダー材料及び複数のチャネルと、
前記複数のチャネルの少なくとも1つの上の、未焼成のコーティング組成物と溶媒からなるコーティング層と、
を含む未焼成のセルラーセラミック体であって、
前記バインダー材料が前記溶媒に不溶性であって、前記コーティング層でコーティングされた前記複数のチャネルのうちの前記少なくとも1つが閉塞されておらず、前記コーティング層が前記複数のチャネルの少なくとも1つにおいてその全長に沿って延在していることを特徴とする、セラミック体。
