Claims (3)
- 2個の消耗電極棒の一方を、ベリライドを構成する金属からなる中空管とその内部に封入されたベリリウム粉末とによって作成し、他方を、純ベリリウム(Be)とベリライドを構成する純金属の粉末をベリライドの目的組成比となるように混合した後、それをプラズマ放電焼結することによって作成し、作成された2個の消耗電極棒を不活性ガスが充填された密閉容器内に対向配置した後、それらを互いに回転させながらアーク放電により溶融させ、溶融物を前記消耗電極棒の回転による遠心力で飛ばし、目的組成比を有するベリライドペブルを製造することを特徴とするベリライドペブルの製造方法。
- 請求項1に記載の製造方法において、前記ベリライドを構成する金属からなる中空管の肉厚を、ベリライドを構成する金属の化学量論比から導かれる厚みを基に設定することを特徴とするベリライドペブルの製造方法。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法において、前記ベリライドを構成する金属がチタン(Ti)であることを特徴とするベリライドペブルの製造方法。
