Description
(a)分離膜が挟持された状態で正極シート及び負極シートを積層して巻き取る過程と、
(b)表面にエンボス構造が形成されている電極タブを、正極シート及び負極シートの無地部上にエンボス構造の突出部位が対面するように配置する過程と、
(c)前記電極タブのエンボス構造の湾入部位に溶接機のホーンチップを配置して超音波を印加する過程と、
を含む。

Claims (5)
- 正極シート/分離膜/負極シートを巻き取って構成され、電極シートにおいて電極活物質が塗布されていない無地部には超音波溶接方式で電極タブが取り付けられており、前記電極タブには、溶接性が向上するように、無地部に対面する方向に突出したエンボス構造が形成されている二次電池用ジェリーロールの製造方法であって、
前記方法が、
(a)分離膜が挟持された状態で正極シート及び負極シートを積層して巻き取る過程と、
(b)表面にエンボス構造が形成されている電極タブを、正極シート及び負極シートの無地部上にエンボス構造の突出部位が対面するように配置する過程と、
(c)前記電極タブのエンボス構造の湾入部位に溶接機のホーンチップを配置して超音波を印加する過程と、
を含み、
前記超音波溶接が、エンボス構造の微細突起に対応する間隔で設けられたホーンチップを有する溶接機により行われ、
前記超音波溶接が、前記ホーンチップが微細突起の湾入部内に導かれた状態で超音波が印加されて行われることを特徴とする、二次電池用ジェリーロールの製造方法。 - 前記電極タブは、アルミニウム又はニッケルからなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記エンボス構造は、無地部に対面する面に形成された突出部と、前記突出部に対応して対向面に形成された湾入部とを含む微細突起からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 前記微細突起の突出高さは、50μm乃至500μmであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の製造方法。
- 前記微細突起の突出高さは、100μm乃至150μmであることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の製造方法。
