Claims (15)
- 薬物送達デバイスのための用量設定機構であって:
ハウジング(120;220);
用量設定工程中に回転可能であり、少なくとも部分的にハウジング(120;220)中に位置する用量ダイヤル部材(122);
用量投与工程中に回転可能スピンドル(126;226)を駆動するように構成され、少なくとも部分的に用量ダイヤル部材(122)内に位置する駆動スリーブ(124;224);
スピンドルに繋がれるスピンドルナット(128;228);及び
駆動スリーブ(126;226)及び/又はスピンドルナット(128;228)に解除可能にカップリングされ、そしてハウジング(120;220)に回転して固定されるスプラングロックナット(130;230);
を含んでなり、
ここで、用量ダイヤル部材(122)が回転して事前選択した第1の用量より大きく、そして事前選択した第2の用量より小さい用量を選択したとき、スプラングロックナット(130;230)はスピンドルナット(128;228)からデカップルされ、かくしてスピンドルナットが回転するのを可能にし、それにより選択用量が投与されるのを防止する、上記用量設定機構。 - 用量ダイヤル部材(122)が、回転して第2の用量より小さい用量を選択したとき、スプラングロックナット(130;230)はスピンドルナット(128;228)から係合解除し、そしてスピンドルナットが回転するのを可能にする、請求項1に記載の機構。

- 用量ダイヤル部材(122)が、回転して第2の用量より大きい用量を選択したとき、付勢部材(131;231)はスプラングロックナット(130;230)を強制してスピンドルナット(128;228)と係合させ、そしてスピンドルナットが回転するのを防止する、請求項3に記載の機構。
- 用量ダイヤル部材(122)が、回転して第2の用量より小さい用量を選択したとき、スプラングロックナット(130;230)は付勢部材に抗して作動する、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- スプラングロックナット(130;230)が少なくとも1つのロッキングアーム(158;258)を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の機構であって、用量ダイヤル部材(122)が回転して最小用量より小さい用量を選択したとき、少なくとも1つのロッキングアームがスプラングロックナット(130;230)を駆動スリーブ(124;224)に解除可能にカップリングさせる、上記機構。
- スプラングロックナット(130;230)は固定部材にスプライン係合される、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の機構であって、固定部材がハウジング(120;220)に取り付けられる、上記機構。
- 用量設定機構は再設定可能な用量設定機構である、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 用量設定機構は薬剤を含むカートリッジを含むカートリッジホルダ(106)にカップリングされる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 用量設定機構はカートリッジホルダ(106)に取り外し可能にカップリングされる、請求項9に記載の機構。
- 事前選択した第1の用量はゼロ単位である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 事前選択した第1の用量はゼロ単位より大きいプライミング用量である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 第1の用量は約2単位より小さいプライミング用量である、請求項12に記載の機構。
- 用量ダイヤル部材(122)が回転して所定の第1の用量より小さい用量を選択したとき、スプラングロックナット(130;230)がスピンドルナット(128;228)と係合し、それによりスピンドルナット(128;228)の回転を防止する、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の機構。
- 薬剤の少なくとも所定の最小用量を設定する方法であって:
用量ダイヤル部材(122)をデバイスハウジング(120;220)に対して第1の方向に回転させることにより用量を設定する工程[ここでは用量ダイヤル部材(122)は駆動スリーブ(124;224)とクラッチ係合状態にあって、用量ダイヤル部材(122)及び駆動スリーブ(124;224)を近位軸方向に移動させ、ここで駆動スリーブ(124;224)は用量投与工程中にスピンドル(126;226)を駆動させるように構成される];
強制してスプラングロックナット(130;230)をスピンドルナット(128;228)から係合解除させる工程[ここでスピンドルナット(128;228)はスピンドル(126;226)にカップリングされそして軸方向に固定される];
所定の距離で、強制してスプラングロックナット(130;230)を駆動スリーブ(124;224)から係合解除させる工程[ここで付勢部材(131;231)は強制してスプラングロックナット(130;230)をスピンドルナット(128;228)と再係合させる];
を含んでなる、上記方法。
