アッパメンバとロアメンバとを中空状をなすように結合するとともに、車幅方向両側部に開口部を有するサスペンションメンバ本体の前記開口部近傍に、該サスペンションメンバ本体を車体骨格部材に支持させる取付け脚部を設け、前記開口部内にロアアームの前ブッシュ及び後ブッシュを車両上下方向に向けて挿入し、前記アッパメンバ及びロアメンバに固定する自動車用サスペンションメンバのロアアーム取付け構造において、
前記サスペンションメンバ本体の前記開口部の近傍内に、上横辺部,下横辺部及び縦辺部からなる断面略凹形状のバルク部材を、前記アッパメンバとロアメンバとを橋渡しするように配設し、
前記バルク部材の上横辺部と前記アッパメンバとで閉断面を形成し、
該アッパメンバの閉断面を形成する部分に前記取付け脚部の少なくとも一部を溶接固定した
ことを特徴とする自動車用サスペンションメンバのロアアーム取付け構造。
