Description
前記樹脂部と接触する接触面を有し、該接触面において前記樹脂部が固着され、前記接触面の算術平均粗さが9.3μm以上20μm以下である、金属からなる金属部と、を含み、樹脂と金属とが一体成形されてなる複合成形体、および
前記複合成形体の前記樹脂部における、前記金属部に固着された部分以外の少なくとも一部分に摺動可能に接触する接触部材、を含むことを特徴とする人工関節である。
また人工関節は、関節部分を有し、この関節部分は、前記複合成形体と、接触部材とを含む。接触部材は、複合成形体における、金属部に固着された部分以外の少なくとも一部分に摺動可能に接触して設けられる。本発明の人工関節は、樹脂と金属との境界部分において、樹脂が金属から部分的に剥離することが抑制された複合成形体を含んで構成されているので、人体内に埋設して用いた場合、剥離部分が発生したことが原因で取り替える頻度を低下させることができ、患者への負担を軽減することができる。

Claims (2)
- 分子量が100万以上の超高分子量ポリエチレン樹脂からなる樹脂部と、
前記樹脂部と接触する接触面を有し、該接触面において前記樹脂部が固着され、前記接触面の算術平均粗さが9.3μm以上20μm以下である、金属からなる金属部と、を含み、樹脂と金属とが一体成形されてなる複合成形体、および
前記複合成形体の前記樹脂部における、前記金属部に固着された部分以外の少なくとも一部分に摺動可能に接触する接触部材、を含むことを特徴とする人工関節。 - 前記複合形成体は、樹脂部である尺骨プレートと、金属部である尺骨ステムとからなる尺骨コンポーネントであり、前記接触部材は、上腕骨コンポーネントである人工肘関節を構成する請求項1記載の人工関節。
