Description
本発明は、吸水性複合材料の製造方法であって、酸基を有する少なくとも1種のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、少なくとも1種の架橋剤、少なくとも1種の開始剤及び少なくとも1種の界面活性剤を含む水性混合物を発泡成形する工程、得られた発泡体とウェブとを接触させる工程及び重合させる工程を含む前記製造方法、その複合材料自体、並びにそれらを水性液体の吸収に用いる使用に関する。
a)酸基を有し且つ少なくとも10モル%中和された、10〜95質量%のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
b)任意に更に50質量%までの他のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、
c)0.001〜20質量%の架橋剤、
d)開始剤、
e)0.01〜20質量%の少なくとも1種の界面活性剤、
f)任意に可溶化剤及び
g)任意に増粘剤、気泡安定剤、重合調整剤、充填剤、繊維及び/又はセル成核剤
(全て混合物の全量を基準とする)
を含む、水性混合物を発泡形成することを含む。この水性重合性混合物も「モノマー混合物」又は「モノマー溶液」と呼ばれてよい。
測定は、特段記載されない限り、23±2℃の周囲温度及び50±10%の相対湿度で実施されるべきである。
吸水性複合材料の自由膨潤能(free swell capacity)をDIN ISO 17190−5により測定する。
吸水性複合材料の遠心保持能をDIN ISO 17190−6により測定する。
実施例1〜4
磁気撹拌機を用いて、以下の成分をガラスビーカー内で一緒に混合した:
209.13gのアクリル酸
81.31gの37.3%のアクリル酸ナトリウムの水溶液
16.8gのポリエチレングリコールジアクリレート400
25.60gの15%の、1モルの直鎖状飽和C16〜C18脂肪アルコールへの80モルのエチレンオキシドの付加生成物の水溶液
26.62gの水。
反応混合物の固体含有率:81.35%
中和度:60モル%
モノマー発泡体密度:0.24gcm−3
発泡体の構造:均一で、完全なオープンセル、スキン層なし
実施例1〜4の手順を繰り返した。モノマー発泡体の半分を、ポリエステルウェブが導入される前にガラス板に適用した。
Claims (14)
- 少なくとも1つの吸水性発泡体層と少なくとも1つのウェブ層を含む吸水性複合材料であって、前記ウェブが合成繊維から構成され且つ200g/m2以下の坪量及び5mm以下の厚さを有し、前記合成繊維がポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリアミド、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリエステル、ポリスルホン及び/又はポリエーテルケトンから構成されるか又は炭素又はガラス繊維から構成される、前記吸水性複合材料。
- 発泡体にウェブが完全に貫通している、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- ウェブに発泡体が完全に貫通している、請求項1に記載の複合材料。
- 発泡体が少なくとも1つの酸基を有する少なくとも1種の重合したモノエチレン性不飽和モノマーを含む、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 重合したモノエチレン性不飽和モノマーの酸基が少なくとも部分的に中和した状態である、請求項4に記載の複合材料。
- 発泡体が少なくとも1種の重合した架橋剤を含む、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- ウェブがポリエステル繊維からなる、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- ウェブが機械的に及び/又は熱的に固められている、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 発泡体が少なくとも1種の多価カチオンの塩で被覆されている、請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料の製造方法であって、酸基を有する少なくとも1種のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマー、少なくとも1種の架橋剤、少なくとも1種の開始剤及び少なくとも1種の界面活性剤を含む水性混合物を発泡成形する工程、得られた発泡体と、200g/m2以下の坪量及び5mm以下の厚さを有する合成繊維のウェブとを接触させる工程、及び重合させる工程を含む前記製造方法。
- 複合材料が重合後に少なくとも1種の多価カチオンの塩で被覆されている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 複合材料の水分が1質量%と60質量%との間の値に調整される、請求項10又は11に記載の方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料を、水性液体を吸収するための物品に用いる使用。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の複合材料を含む物品。
