Description
(a)約90質量%までのポリエステル;
(b)約1質量%〜5質量%のポリオレフィン;及び
(c)約5〜10質量%の繊維材料。
結果として、本発明に係るプラスチックストラップは、リサイクル材料の使用が予定される。実際に、リサイクル材料は、一部、主として米国特許第4830188号に記載されているように、PETフレークに処理加工できるペットボトルに由来する。このようなPETフレークは、典型的には、主としてポリエステルと部分的に1種以上ポリオレフィンとから共に構成されている。本発明の範囲内において、その後、このようなPETフレークをプラスチックストラップストリップの製造に有利に使用することができ、その結果、PETフレークの出発組成に応じて、添加剤を考慮すべきであり、特に本発明の状況内において、繊維材料(c)を特定の濃度で押出前に押出物に混合する。約5〜10質量%の繊維材料という特徴(c)に関連して与えられる重量範囲に達する。というのは、繊維の所定の割合は、基本的に、説明されるように全体的に長手方向に剛性を著しく改善させるために必要だからである。典型的には、5質量%の繊維材料であっても改善がもたらされることが分かった。

Claims (9)
- 1又は複数の物体の周りに巻き付けるためのプラスチックストラップ(4)であって、次の成分から本質的になり:
(a)約90質量%までのポリエステル、
(b)約1〜5質量%のポリオレフィン、及び
(c)約5〜10質量%の繊維材料、
成分(c)の繊維材料がガラス繊維、玄武岩繊維、炭素繊維、またはセラミック繊維から選択される無機繊維からなる、前記プラスチックストラップ。 - 前記成分(c)の繊維材料が前記成分(a)及び(b)よりも高い溶融温度を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプラスチックストラップ(4)。
- 前記成分(a)のポリエステルの割合が約85質量%〜90質量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のプラスチックストラップ(4)。
- 前記ポリオレフィンがポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン又はこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のプラスチックストラップ(4)。
- 前記成分(c)の繊維材料が、20mmまでの最大長さの繊維から構成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のプラスチックストラップ(4)。
- 前記成分(c)の繊維材料が、300℃を越える溶融温度を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプラスチックストラップ(4)。
- 前記成分(c)の繊維材料が請求項1に記載のいずれかの繊維の組合せで構成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のプラスチックストラップ(4)。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のプラスチックストラップの製造方法であって、前記成分(a)〜(c)を互いに混合し、そして同時押出し、その後得られたプラスチックストラップ(4)又はプラスチックストラップ材料を延伸し、そして最後に該プラスチックストラップ(4)又はプラスチックストラップ材料を1:2〜1.5までの延伸比で延伸する方法。
