吊り紐又は吊り紐に設けたフックを係止させる受け具及び操作ハンドルを備えた中空のシャフトを設け、該シャフトの基端部に駆動機、先端部に前記駆動機に連繋した軸棒の先端ギアを介して互いに逆方向の回転を受ける2つの従動ギアを内装したギアボックスを有する円形上板を設け、該円形上板の下面に互いに逆方向に回転する上回転刃と下回転刃とを刃部が前記円形上板の外周からはみ出すように設け、該下回転刃と一体回転する接地回転板を設けてなる草刈り機において、前記円形上板の上面に前記シャフトの延長上を草刈り方向と逆向き方向に折半する衝立状の草受け板を設け、該草受け板の先端側及び基端側に沿って草刈り方向に平面円弧状に曲げた凹曲部を設け、前記草受け板の両凹曲部の最外端は、上回転刃及び下回転刃のそれぞれの刃部の外端を通る想像円と同じか、若干内側になっていることを特徴とする草刈り機。 A suspension shaft or a hollow shaft provided with a receiving device for locking a hook provided on the suspension strap and an operation handle is provided, and a distal end of a shaft rod connected to the drive device at a proximal end portion of the shaft and a distal end portion of the shaft.
