Description
Claims (26)
- ユーザーの頭に装着できるように作製されたデバイスと、
前記ユーザーの第1の目に直接向けて、かつ前記ユーザーの視界に対する妨害を最小限にするような位置で前記デバイスに取り付けられた対物レンズを有するカメラであって、該対物レンズは、前記ユーザーの第1の目の動きをモニターするためにデバイス上に配置されており、該カメラにより得られた第1の目のビデオ映像を表す信号を発生するように構成された該カメラと、
前記デバイスを装着した人がディスプレイ上のポインターを見ることができるように前記デバイスに隣接して配置された該ディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイと前記カメラに結合され、ビデオ映像の中の第1の目の動きをモニターし、かつ投射された基準フレームに対する前記第1の目の動きを前記ディスプレイ上で相関させるために前記信号を処理するプロセッサであって、前記信号から第1の目の瞳孔の縁を確認するように構成され、前記第1の目の動きをモニターするために前記瞳孔を確認するとともに、投射された基準フレームに対する前記の第1の目の瞳孔の動きに基づいて前記ポインターを前記ディスプレイ上で移動させる、該プロセッサと、を備えたコンピュータデバイスの制御システム。 - ユーザーの頭に装着できるように作製されたデバイスと、
該デバイスを装着した時に、前記ユーザーの目に光を向ける、該デバイス上の複数の光源であって、該目の上に投射される基準フレームを投射する該複数の光源と、
前記ユーザーの第1の目に直接向けて、かつ前記ユーザーの視界に対する妨害を最小限にするような位置で前記デバイスに取り付けられた対物レンズを有するカメラであって、該対物レンズは、前記ユーザーの第1の目の動きをモニターするために前記デバイス上に配置されており、該カメラにより得られた第1の目のビデオ映像を表す信号を発生するように構成された該カメラと、
前記デバイスを装着した人がディスプレイ上のポインターを見ることができるように前記デバイスに隣接して配置された該ディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイと前記カメラに結合されたプロセッサであって、第1の目の瞳孔の縁を確認するために前記信号を解析すること、投射された前記基準フレームに対する瞳孔の位置を決定するために前記信号を処理すること、および前記ディスプレイに対する第1の目の動きを追跡するポインターを作製するために、ビデオ映像の中の第1の目の動きをモニターし、かつ投射された前記基準フレームに対する第1の目の動きを前記ディスプレイ上で相関させるために前記信号を処理することを行うように構成され、投射された前記基準フレームに対する第1の目の動きに基づいてポインターを移動させる、該プロセッサ、を備えたコンピュータデバイスの制御システム。 - ユーザーの頭に装着できるように構成された複数の耳片を保持する複数のテンプル片と、該複数のテンプル片間に延在する鼻柱とを有するフレームと、
前記複数の耳片の1つと前記鼻柱の上に取り付けられ、該フレームを装着した前記ユーザーの第1の目に光を向けるように、該第1の目に向けて配置され、該目の上に投射される基準フレームを投射する、1つまたは複数の光源と、
前記複数の耳片の1つと前記鼻柱の上に取り付けられ、第1の目の動きをモニターするために該フレームを装着した前記ユーザーの第1の目に直接向けて配置された対物レンズを有するカメラであって、該カメラにより得られた第1の目のビデオ映像を表す信号を発生するように構成された該カメラと、
該フレームを装着した前記ユーザーの第1の目で見ることができるように、前記複数の耳片の1つと前記鼻柱の上に取り付けられたディスプレイと、
前記ディスプレイと前記カメラに結合されたプロセッサであって、投射された前記基準フレームに対するユーザーの目の位置を決定するために、第1の目の動きをモニターして信号を処理し、投射された前記基準フレームに対する前記ユーザーの目の動きに基づいてユーザーの目の動きに追従するポインターを作製する、該プロセッサ、を備えたコンピュータデバイスの制御システム。 - 前記の1つまたは複数の光源が、前記の投射される基準フレームを目の上に投射するように構成された複数の光源を有し、
前記プロセッサが、第1の目の瞳孔の縁を確認するためにカメラ信号を解析すること、および前記の投射される基準フレームに対する瞳孔の位置を決定するために該信号を処理することを行うように構成されている、請求項3記載のシステム。 - ユーザーの頭に装着できるように作製されたデバイスと、
該デバイスを装着した時に、前記ユーザーの目に光を向ける、該デバイス上の複数の光源であって、該目の上に投射される基準フレームを投射する該複数の光源と、
前記ユーザーの視界に対する妨害を最小限にするような位置で前記デバイスに取り付けられるとともに、該目の動きをモニターするために、前記ユーザーの目に直接向けて配置されたカメラであって、該カメラにより得られた該目のビデオ映像を表す信号を発生するように構成された該カメラと、
前記デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーが、ディスプレイ上のポインターを見ることができるように、前記デバイスに隣接して配置された該ディスプレイと、
前記カメラに結合されたプロセッサであって、投射された前記基準フレームに対する瞳孔の位置を決定するために前記信号を処理し、かつ投射された前記基準フレームに対する該目の動きをモニターするために前記信号を処理するように構成され、前記ポインターを前記ユーザーの目の動きに追従させるために、前記ディスプレイ上で前記ユーザーの目の動きをポインターに相関させることにより、前記ディスプレイ上で前記ポインターを移動させるように前記ディスプレイに結合されている、該プロセッサ、を備えたコンピュータデバイスの制御システム。 - 前記ポインターが前記ディスプレイ上に表示され、さらに前記プロセッサが投射された前記基準フレームに対する第1の目の動きに基づいて前記ディスプレイ上で前記ポインターを移動させる、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサが、前記ビデオ映像を分析し、前記の目の瞳孔の縁を確認して瞳孔を前記ビデオ映像の中に配置せしめるとともに、前記ビデオ映像中の瞳孔をモニターして、投射された前記基準フレームに対する目の動きをモニターする、請求項1、3および5のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ディスプレイが、前記デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーの第1の目の前の所定の位置に前記ディスプレイが配置されるように前記デバイスに取り付けられたヘッドアップディスプレイである請求項1、2および5のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 基準位置に対する第1の目の次の動きのために投射される基準フレームを用意するため、前記ディスプレイ上の前記基準位置と前記ユーザーの瞳孔の対応する初期位置との間の関係を前記ビデオ映像から決定するために、前記プロセッサが前記システムを初期化できるように構成されている、前記の請求項のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサは、初期化の間、前記ディスプレイ上の基準位置に映像を表示するように構成され、さらに、前記プロセッサは、前記基準位置に対する第1の目の次の動きのために投射される基準フレームを用意するために、前記デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーの第1の目が前記基準位置を見ていることを示す前記ビデオ映像から、前記ユーザーの瞳孔の対応する初期位置を検出するように構成されている、前記の請求項のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサは、前記ディスプレイ上の所定の位置を見るように前記ユーザーに指示するように構成されており、前記プロセッサは、前記信号を分析して、該所定の位置を前記ユーザーが見ていることを示すビデオ映像上の第1の目の瞳孔の位置を決定し、それにより前記基準位置を設定する請求項9または10に記載のシステム。
- 所望の位置に関係する指令が実行されるように要求するために、前記ポインターが前記ディスプレイ上の該所望の位置を確認する一方、前記デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーの第1の目が所定のシーケンスで瞬きしていることを示すビデオ映像を検出するために、信号をモニターできるように前記プロセッサは構成され、さらに第1の目が前記の所定の順番で瞬きしたことを検出すると、指令を実行するように前記プロセッサが構成されている、請求項9記載のシステム。
- 前記ディスプレイ上の複数の所定位置を続けて見るように前記ユーザーに指示するように前記プロセッサは構成されており、前記プロセッサは前記カメラからの映像信号を分析して、前記ユーザーが前記の所定位置を見たことを示す映像での第1の目の瞳孔の位置を決定し、それにより投射された前記基準フレームを設定する請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 前記デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーが前記ディスプレイ上の特定の位置を見ていることを示すビデオ映像の信号をモニターするために、前記プロセッサはカメラに結合され、該特定の位置に前記ポインターを移動できるように前記プロセッサが構成されている請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
- 指令の実行を要求するために前記の特定の位置を見ている状態で、前記デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーが所定のシーケンスで瞬きしていることを示すビデオ映像を検出するために前記信号をモニターできるように前記プロセッサは構成されており、該ビデオ映像を検出するとコンピュータデバイス上で前記指令を実行するように前記プロセッサは構成されている請求項14記載のシステム。
- ユーザーの頭に装着されたデバイスを用いたコンピュータデバイスの制御方法であって、
該デバイスはカメラを有し、該カメラが、前記ユーザーの視界に対する妨害を最小限にできる位置で該デバイスに取り付けられた対物レンズであって、前記ユーザーの第1の目に直接向くように該デバイスの上に配置されている該対物レンズを有する一方、該コンピュータデバイスは、該デバイスを装着した前記ユーザーの前または前記ユーザーの視界の中に位置するように該デバイス上に取り付けられたディスプレイを有しており、
前記ディスプレイに対する前記ユーザーの目の動きを追跡するポインターを作製するために、前記カメラを用いて基準フレームに対する第1の目の動きをモニターすることと、
前記ポインターの動きを第1の目の動きに追従させるために、前記ポインターに対して第1の目の動きを相関させることを含む、該制御方法。 - ユーザーの頭に装着されたデバイスを用いたコンピュータデバイスの制御方法であって、
該デバイスはカメラを有し、該カメラが、前記ユーザーの視界に対する妨害を最小限にできる位置で該デバイスに取り付けられた対物レンズであって、前記ユーザーの第1の目に直接向くように該デバイスの上に配置されている該対物レンズを有する一方、該コンピュータデバイスはディスプレイを有しており、
目の瞳孔の縁を確認して該ビデオ映像内に瞳孔を配置するために、前記カメラにより撮影された第1の目のビデオ映像を解析すること、
前記ディスプレイに対する前記ユーザーの目の動きを追跡するポインターを作製するために、基準フレームに対するビデオ映像内の前記ユーザーの第1の目の瞳孔の動きを前記ディスプレイ上でモニターすること、および
前記ポインターの動きを瞳孔の動きに追従させるため、前記ポインターに対する2次元における瞳孔の動きを相関させることを含む、該制御方法。 - 前記の第1の目が前記ディスプレイ上の所定の位置を見ている時に、前記カメラの活性領域上に前記の第1の目の第1の位置を決定することをさらに含み、
第1の位置に対する、前記活性領域上の第1の目の位置の変化を決定することにより、第1の目の動きを相関させ、前記の位置の変化に応じて前記ポインターを移動させる、請求項16または17に記載の制御方法。 - 前記基準位置を設定するために第1の目の瞳孔の位置を決定する目的で、第1の目が実質的に静止している間、前記カメラからの第1の目の映像データを解析することをさらに含む、請求項16または17に記載の制御方法。
- 前記ポインターが前記ディスプレイ上の特定の位置に位置している状態で、前記ユーザーが所定のシーケンスで瞬きした時、指令の実行を要求することを決定するために第1の目をモニターすること、および前記の要求に基づいて前記コンピュータデバイスで該指令を実行することをさらに含む、請求項16から19のいずれか1項に記載の制御方法。
- 前記の第1の目の動きを所定の間隔でモニターすることと、前記ディスプレイ上の前記ポインターで確認された指令を実行させるために信号を発生させることをさらに含む、請求項16から20のいずれか1項に記載の制御方法。
- ユーザーの頭に装着されたデバイスを用いたコンピュータデバイスの制御方法であって、
該デバイスはカメラを有し、該カメラが、前記ユーザーの視界に対する妨害を最小限にできる位置で該デバイスに取り付けられた対物レンズであって、前記ユーザーの第1の目に直接向くように該デバイスの上に配置されている該対物レンズを有する一方、該コンピュータデバイスは前記ユーザーの視線の範囲内にディスプレイを有しており、
2次元での前記の第1の目の動きを示すビデオ映像を生成させるカメラを用いて、基準フレームに対する第1の目の動きをモニターすること、
前記ディスプレイに対する前記ユーザーの第1の目の動きを追跡するポインターを作製するために、前記ビデオ映像内の前記の第1の目の動きを相関させること、および
前記ユーザーが反応した時に所望の指令を実行する一方、該所望の指令に応じて前記ディスプレイ上の位置を前記ポインターが確認することを含む、該制御方法。 - 前記の目の瞳孔の縁を確認して前記ビデオ映像内に瞳孔を配置するために、前記カメラにより撮影された第1の目の映像を解析することをさらに含み、前記ビデオ映像内の前記の第1の目の動きを相関させることが、確認された瞳孔の動きのモニタリングを相関させることを含む、請求項22記載の制御方法。
- 動きをモニターする前に前記デバイスを初期化することをさらに含み、
該初期化が、前記ディスプレイ上の一つまたは複数の確認位置を見るようにユーザーに指示すること、および、前記の第1の目の次の動きをモニターするための少なくとも一つの基準点またはものさしを決定するために得られた映像データを解析することを含む請求項22記載の制御方法。 - 前記ディスプレイ上の所定の位置を前記の第1の目が最初に見た時、前記カメラの活性領域上に前記の第1の目の基準位置を決めることをさらに含み、前記基準位置に対する、前記活性領域上の前記の第1の目の位置の変化を決定することにより前記の第1の目の動きを相関させ、前記の位置の変化に応じてポインターを移動させる、請求項22記載の制御方法。
- 前記ユーザーが所定のシーケンスで前記の第1の目を瞬きした時、前記指令が実行される請求項22記載の制御方法。
