Claims (2)
- インサート交換式切削工具を使用する自動切削方法であって、
加工プログラムを読み込むステップと、
読み込んだ前記加工プログラムから加工条件を抽出するステップと、
寿命試験データおよび工具データを格納するデータベースを参照し前記インサートの回転角度と工具寿命とを演算するステップと、
演算した前記回転角度だけ前記インサートを回転させたときに未使用の切刃部分が残るか否かを判断するステップと、
前記未使用の切刃部分で加工するステップと、加工後にインサートを自動回転または自動交換するかを判断するステップを有し、
前記インサートとして、丸型のインサートを使用し、
前記インサートの回転角度を、前記インサート半径および軸切込みの関係から定まる前記インサートの円周角としたことを特徴とするインサート交換式切削工具を使用する自動切削方法。 - 前記加工プログラムは複数の加工工程を含んでおり、各加工工程に応じて前記回転角度を変化させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインサート交換式切削工具を使用する自動切削方法。
