空調装置のコントロールユニットの入力部を手動操作する操作ノブと、この操作ノブを配置するコントロールパネルがインスツルメントパネルに設けられた車両用空調操作装置において、
前記操作ノブは、前記入力部に連結された回転軸と、この回転軸に一体的に設けた操作部とで形成し、
さらに、前記コントロールパネル前面側に配置されるように係止されるベースを設け、
このベースには、前記コントロールパネルに向かって先方側から前記入力部を挿入可能とした取付孔と、ベースに一体的に形成し、前記入力部の後端部を係止爪部で係止して当該入力部の取り付けを保持する係止腕部とを設け、
前記係止腕部は、車両の衝突等による衝撃によって前記操作ノブに所定値以上の荷重が加わったときに、前記操作ノブから前記入力部にかかる後方側への負荷により、前記入力部の係止が外れる方向に弾性変形し、
前記入力部の後方側への移動規制が解除され、前記入力部は、前記操作ノブと共に後方側に移動することを特徴とする車両用空調操作装置。
