Description
図1は、第1導管12及びこの第1導管12に直列に連結する1対の第2導管14を有する海水吸引システム10を示す。第1及び第2の導管12,14それぞれは、ほぼ円筒形の導管本体を有して、導管本体のいずれかの端部に配置した連結手段とともに内部流路を形成する。この図示の実施例において、連結手段は、複数の連結開孔(図示せず)を有するフランジ16である。導管12,14は、隣接する導管12,14からの対応するフランジ16を衝合させ、対応する連結開孔を整列させることによって、互いに連結する。次に、適当な機械的固着手段、例えばスタッドボルト(図示せず)を整列した開孔それぞれに挿通し、スタッドボルトの端部にナットを締め込んで隣接する導管12,14を互いに連結する。導管12,14の連結は、吸引システム10を使用する船上で行うのが一般的である。第1導管12は、例えばゴムのような第1材料による少なくとも2層から形成する。第1導管はゴム製のライナー又は内側層を有する既知のタイプとし、このライナー又は内側層の長さに沿って間隔をおいて複数個のスチール又はワイヤによる補強リングを埋設する。補強したライナー周りには多数の適当なテキスタイル製プライ層を巻き付け、またテキスタイル製プライ層上に耐海水性/耐候性のゴム外側層を配置する。
図示の好適な実施形態において、第2導管を形成する第2材料は高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)とする。

Claims (15)
- ・2つの導管の間で流体連通を可能にする内部流体通路を形成するよう互いに連結される第1導管(12)及び第2導管(14)であって、前記第1導管を少なくとも2層の第1材料から形成し、前記第2導管を前記第1材料とは異なる単一層の第2材料から形成する、該第1導管(12)及び第2導管(14)と、
・前記第1導管の自由端に連結された吸引ヘッド(28)と、
・前記第1導管の前記吸引ヘッドを収容し、保持し得る少なくとも1個のケーソン(24)と、を備える、海水吸引システム(10)であって、
該ケーソンは、
・懸架装置(44)を備え、該懸架装置(44)は、組付け中に前記第1及び第2の導管を選択的に固定するよう構成した懸架装置(44)であって、前記第1及び第2の導管にロック可能に係合し得るばね動作機構、及び前記第1及び第2の導管の外径間における相違を補償するよう構成した導管アダプタ(48,50)を有するものとする、
海水吸引システム。 - 請求項1記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記第2導管の前記内部流体通路は前記第1導管の前記内部流体通路の内径とほぼ同一の内径を有し、また前記第2導管は前記第1導管の外径よりも小さい外径を有する、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1又は2記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記第1材料はゴムとし、また前記第2材料は、プラスチック材料、又は炭素系スチール、又は補強グラスファイバとする、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項3記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記第2材料は、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)とする、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項4記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記第2導管は、少なくとも一部が放物線断面輪郭(202)となる外面を持つ少なくとも1つのフランジ部材(200)を有する、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項5記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記少なくとも1つのフランジ部材は、さらに、前記フランジ部材の端部部分から所定距離にある位置で前記外面周りの周縁に配置した少なくとも1個の荷重リング(204)を有する、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一項記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、さらに、前記第2導管に形成したストレーナ(18)であって、また前記第2導管に形成して流体が前記第2導管内に流入できるようにした複数個の流体開孔(18a)を含む、該ストレーナ(18)を備える、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一項記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記システムは、複数個の順次の第2導管に連結する複数個の順次の第1導管を備える、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1〜8のうちいずれか一項記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記ケーソンは、浮体式生産貯蔵積出(FPSO)船の船殻内に配置する、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1〜9のうちいずれか一項記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記懸架装置は、現場にあるとき前記ケーソンの頂端部に取外し可能に連結できるものとする、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1〜10のうちいずれか一項記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記システムは、さらに、前記第1及び第2の導管における前記内部流体通路内に配置して、前記第2導管の自由端に所定流体を供給し得る少なくとも1個の第1補助流体ライン(146)を備える、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項11記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記システムは、さらに、前記第1補助流体ラインに並列的に配置し、また前記第1及び第2の導管における前記内部流体通路内に配置して、前記第2導管の自由端に所定流体を供給し得る少なくとも1個の第2補助流体ライン(148)を備える、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項7〜12のうちいずれか一項に従属するときの請求項12記載の海水吸引システムにおいて、前記第1及び第2の補助流体ラインは、前記第2導管と前記ストレーナとの間に動作可能に接続した分散部材に流体的に接続して、使用中に前記所定流体が前記内部流体通路内に流入できるようにする、海水吸引システム。
- 請求項1〜13のうちいずれか一項記載の海水吸引システムを組み付ける方法において、
・少なくとも1つの第1導管及び少なくとも1つの第2導管を準備する導管準備ステップであって、前記第1導管は少なくとも2層の第1材料から形成し、また前記第2導管は前記第1材料とは異なる単一層の第2材料から形成し、前記第1及び第2の導管は、前記2つの導管の間で流体連通を可能にするよう相互連結可能なものとする、該導管準備ステップと、
・前記2つの導管を相互連結するステップと、
・前記第1導管の自由端に吸引ヘッドを連結するステップと、
・前記吸引ヘッドを収容し、かつ保持し得るケーソンを準備するステップと、並びに
・前記ケーソン内で前記吸引ヘッド、前記第1及び第2の導管を取り付けるステップと
を有する、方法。 - 請求項14記載の方法において、前記第2導管は、前記第2導管に形成したストレーナであって、また前記第2導管に形成して流体が前記第2導管内に流入できるようにした複数個の流体開孔を含む、該ストレーナを有する、方法。
